you can go back to windows by hitting the reset switch on your phone. this will let you boot back to your windows mobile with everything intact (settings contacts) the only thing you will need to change would be the time as Android sets the time in a format. regarding to damaging the phone. The standard disclaimer applies, there is a slight chance you can destroy your phone but generally its safe to play around with especially with the newer Android builds. Video of newer build will be up soon.
Again these are very early builds the devs at XDA are working hard at getting stuff working. Don't expect everything working perfect just yet. So far for the Rhodium Devices. Calls, Data, Text Msgs, SMS are known to be operational. Things that don't work are WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Camera, Speaker Sound, Keyboard Mapping, Power Management. But things change fast so keep checking the wiki links. Android on Rhodium is still too early for day to day use. Consider it something new to mess with.
anything you install on ur phone can damage it, but nothing that can't be undamaged by a hard reset..
also, this version of Android on the WM line of phones isn't as stable as it appears... It's still missing a bunch of key components that are HUGE to everyday users like myself... No camera, no sound, no gps, etc... So I'll definitel wait for a more stable version before I do this again...
Porting Android to the TP2 is still in its early stages, the latest zImage (kernel) has support for hardware buttons, wifi (kind of works), volume toggle works but audio is not working yet, the devs in the Topaz forums are working on it. Camera dont seem to be working on any 2.0 ports yet not even on my original Tilt (Kaiser). check the Rhodium port wiki (see more info) and for the latest info check the second link.
video is really out of focus..and/or badly compressed.
boot time(especially initial one) really depends on how fast your MicroSD card is. my class 1 takes about 25min for the 1st boot, but my class 3 takes about 10min.
