  • My dream is to sing with a group like this. (like real people)

  • Amazing! I love you guys!))

  • This was so good!

  • @truebeautyforever Thanks! Be sure to subscribe if you wish to be notified of upcoming releases! ;-)

  • @trudbol Trust me I've been subscribed to you for a long time!

  • @truebeautyforever Great, I'm glad you've stuck around! ;-)

Yeah, sorry I'm having trouble keeping track of people's names. Wish I could though. :(

  • Just gave you at least 100 + views in the past 2 days. Addicted LOOOOOOL

  • @zjordansmith Haha, I was wondering what was going on with the views. ;-)

Share our video with friends and spread the addiction! ;-)

  • @trudbol oh I have, and will keep doing so. :) Thanks for keeping me busy good sir :D haha

  • Excellent!!! I am not a huge Beatles fan, but I like the fun stuff and you guys nailed this.

  • @petertrast Thank you! ;-)

  • outstanding!!!!! incredible!!!! amazing!!! loved every note of it... vera

  • @vhannah9253 Thanks Vera! Share with friends! ;-)

  • I love the Beatles, but I think that the cover you two did is MUCH better than the original! This is coming from a fellow choralist haha I’m not merely flapping my lips. I think you two should do another collaboration!

  • @Andy001Andy Well, that's quite a compliment, thank you! ;-)

  • I've decided Julien. I want to hear some Beach Boys! After watching the Grammy's recently with my father and talking about how amazing they were at harmonizing, I would love to hear you do some (more?)!

  • @woofiny I'll probably try a few other Beach Boys songs later, but they're really not in my comfortable range. It's easier for me to sing melodies in a more baritone-ish range, the Beach Boys often have high-pitched falsetto melodies, it's fun, but I don't sound too good up there.

  • Great groove on the bass-line Julien! In the pocket!

  • @AndrewKesler Arigato gozaimasu Andrewsan!

  • Julien, you are my idol!

  • @Luicarry Haha, thanks for the nice comment. ;-)

Share this video with friends, I'd appreciate the support! ;-)

  • This is my favourite song of all your stagings! :>

Amazing voices and outstanding arrangement, as always!

  • @llegendaryHD Glad you enjoyed the show! Pass the video on to friends on Facebook and Twitter, so we can be on TV someday! ;-)

  • OMG I love this song so much and you guys did such a great job with it. It's so fun!!! And yes, I totally saw you shaking those hips Julien! hahahaha You should dance more often. What fun you two - lovely :)

  • @KATRINAMARIE123 Haha! Thanks Katrina! ;-)

  • amazing voice! love from england!

  • @UzairSiddiqu Thanks! Share our video with your friends and spread the word! ;-)

  • I'm almost glad that Trudbol isn't viral yet. It makes me feel quite hipster that I'm a fan of him before he is mainstream.

Sweet arrangement. You've got a couple fans in Minnesota.

  • @LuisCamachoIII Thanks for the friendly comment.

Let's still hope for some of my videos to go viral, I think could only be a good thing. ;-)

    Cheers from France

  • Dan, you and your friend have done another awesome sound. Great stuff. PDubOne

  • @PaulWesleyBowen Thanks! ;-)

  • @PaulWesleyBowen thank you!

  • Awesome! That walking bass is so much fun to listen to *and* watch :). And your voices blend well, which is impressive since you have a very different sound.

I'm going to watch it a few more times, now. "Doo, bah-doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo" :).

  • @Partyburner Danke schön! ;-)

  • Hey, it's Dan Wright!

  • @bordonthestreet You're wright, it's Dan! ;-)

  • Wow, it's so cool to see a video with you and another barbershop singer. One good voice is great, but two great, different voices, is just AMAZING. Mix that with the fact that the song is a little longer than usual, and the fact that the song is also just good in the first place, THIS WAS HEAVEN TO MY EARS

  • @elicik1 Thanks! Share & tweet this video if you like it! ;-)

  • @trudbol Yea, unfortunately my friends don't really like a-capella and barbershop. I still do anyway :) . It's always cool to see you sing with other youtube singers (or other youtubers that you collab with). I am now subscribed to the following amazing youtubers: Kartiv2, faireset, SongeLeReveur, and now Danwright32. Also, I saw you in a couple of Ein Astronaut's videos :) . Keep up the great singing!

  • i love the huge difference in hand movement haha

  • Lovin the last chord!

  • @MrTenorlicious Same here! ;-)

  • Bari looked like he was going to explode at the end of the song. He was so red xD Great job though =) really liked this one.

  • are you sure the bari and tenor shouldnt be swapped. he sounds like hes singing higher than a bari would...

  • @JESCHE01 We tweaked the arrangement so as to split the melody line, thus swapping lead and baritone every now and then. The arrangement isn't very rangy for the lead & bari, it goes up to a high G4 (on "do you need"), it's in baritone / lead range. Or perhaps I didn't understand your question.

  • Amazing! No words to describe such a nice arrangement!

  • @jlbellan Indeed, Realtime wrote a great arrangement for this Beatles classic. It's fun and easy. ;-)

  • Do you have sheet music that you could E-mail me??

  • @sniper368434343 Please read the video description?

  • cool ! C'est l'arrangement de "Realtime" ??

  • @jbcraipeau Oui

  • Love it guys. Big fan of both of you guys' work. :)

  • @franklbhs Thank you! Share this vidoe all you want, we'd certainly appreciate it! ;-)

  • 5 stars.

  • @davigobe14 Thanks! Cheers ;-)

  • That was great! More Beatles covers!

  • @metalhead771526 Thanks! More Beatles' covers coming soon. Do share this video with friends in the meantime and help us spread the word if you can. ;-)

  • please teach my how you compose these a-capella harmonies !!!

  • @JWD96 Easy: download Audacity and give it a shot yourself. Just learn by doing, there's nothing to it.

  • this is fantastic! also you have very large hands friend =]

  • @scottytheghoti Thanks! ;-)

  • wow... it took me till 2 minuts in to realize lead and bass were the same person. Facepalm.

  • @Rizer911 Haha! ;-)

  • Hey! I just "pinned" this to my Pinterest page! I share because I care... ;-)

  • @wendys120 You'z da best! ;-)

  • @trudbol LOL... more like I'z da averagest

  • Teach me to sing like you, Master! :D

  • @MuffinsManiac LOL Just download Audacity and try it yourself, you'll see it's easy and fun! ;-)

  • @trudbol haha I'll try that, you're awesome btw!

  • I was hanging out with my niece who started getting all fussy and whiney so I started showing her some of your videos and she just say and watched quietly. She is 3 and seems to enjoy each video she has seen. Keep up the good work man :)

  • @TheManOfTheBeard Thank you for the kind comment, I delighted I passed your niece's test! Kids don't lie! ;-)

  • well done, guys!!!! loved it ;)

  • @enricator Grazie mille! ;-)

  • The last guy went really red on that last note, HAHA! I would too though if I had to hold a note for as long as he did

  • @1992LauraJean Really? Dan is pretty good at holding a straight tone for a good 20 to 30 seconds, this was pretty easy for him I think. OK, maybe not that easy, we were singing a high G4... ;-)

  • Amazing job, guys!

  • @osutuba Thanks!

  • Love it! Do you have the arrangement on paper?

  • @treewindle Thanks! Yes.

  • JNEEL!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you please do Tears In Heaven By Eric Clapton? are you even taking requests? lol

  • @CraigChristism No need to scream, I read my comments. ;-)

Part of the creative process in making these multitrack videos is to have an arrangement: can you provide me with a TTBB (tenor/tenor/bass/bass) male voice a cappella arrangement for me to work with? It's very time-consuming and difficult to arrange music.

  • awesome! :-)

  • @Cksann Thanks! ;-)

  • @WovenUnicornSweater Thanks for the compliment. Dan and I have different voices (I'm more a baritone-bass and his tone is lighter), we're also several years apart & speak different languages, which accounts for the differences in our styles and tones. I don't know which microphone Dan uses, mine is a ZoomH4n. I also sing about 1 meter away from the microphone, which gives my recording more of the room acoustics than Dan's who I think sings closer. Anyhow, glad you liked it!

  • Two more fellows and go for a live session !

  • @Vietindian Haha ;-)

We'd also need a couple of plane tickets: Dan lives in the US and I'm in France. ;-)

  • PS Total fan though I am of SugababeLA I think the contrast between the two of you is fine. No point in trying to move around if one isn't that kind of performer. And Julien does so much wacky stuff that if you both jumped around we might get dizzy. This is a compliment btw Jules. :-D

  • @johndv777 One thing you have to keep in mind when watching these collab videos is that it's an illusion: we're not a real group, we never practiced together, in fact we never even met in person. We each recorded our parts separately with a few short pointers given in an email and then stitched everything together to make this video. This video reflects only our "first" try, so to speak.

  • so smouth :) i love

  • @funky85 Thanks! ;-)

  • wow that bass person is a zippy character. and that last chord is my most favourite chord ever. thanks guys for boosting my day. :)

  • @johndv777 Zipidee doo dah! ;-)

  • which video editing program do you use?

  • @erik93slash Sony Vegas Pro.

  • AMAZING SONG CHOICE :) as always love this :)

  • @puppylover218211 Thanks! ;-)

  • Can you E-mail me the sheet music fir this arrangment

  • Amazing as always man! I just subscribed to you a few days ago.

You make the most awesome music! I wish this type of music was still popular...Barbershop that is.

  • @Neowolf882 Thank you! ;-)

  • needs rhythm section

  • @fornello123 OK boss

  • Hey Trudbol...is he your love child??

  • @TheDanhedges Har de har har

  • @trudbol Lol there's the result of my sharing your content trudbol, my brother now trolls you @TheDanhedges

  • @shavezy08 LOL Trolls are welcome, big and small. ;-)

  • @shavezy08 Ha Ha, cheeky sod...all in good fun

  • This was really good... your voices match perfectly guys... Great Job :D

  • @abadindindin Thank you! ;-)

  • Are you going to release a CD any time soon? Because I would buy it!:P

  • @EvilGuineapiginator I have several songs available on iTunes already (just search Trudbol) and have all my MP3 tracks on my computer. I'm relunctant to sell them on iTunes because of the copyright and iTunes renting space fees. It's quite expensive...

  • @trudbol Sell them on Bandcamp, it's a lot easier for everyone :D

  • @BigXerife You still have to pay copyright fees, but I'll look into it. Thanks.

  • @misshippyflippy Merci ! N'hésite pas à faire circuler parmi tes amis ! Un coup de pouce est apprécié ! ;-)

  • PURE GENIUS! Love you both! :D

  • @eklafehn Thanks! ;-)

  • If you sang out of key I would still listen. Your videos rock. ^_^

  • @rhythmrainbow Haha, thanks! Cheers ;-)

  • The bass line in this is FANTASTIC!

  • @musicalmedli Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Make sure you check out Dan's channel, you'll find lots of a cappella goodies there too! ;-)

  • I love youuuuuuuu!!!!!! would you marry meeeeee???? hahahahahahah xD xD

  • @Lula1789 Haha, well I can't complain, some of these comments are just great. ;-)

  • Great vid and song, good job Trudbol :D. Am I the only who thinks his hands look a little yellow in the lead section?

  • @booodude570 Thanks! And Dan is to thank too!

Yes; my hands look yellow because of poor video editing: I use a table lamp and a compact digital camera to shoot my videos, so I have to apply a bit of color correction to compensate, which tends to make my hands look yellowish.

  • This is phenomenal.

  • @PogieJoe Thanks! Did you know this video also looks great on a Facebook wall? ;-)

  • hey, you always make me happy when you sing :)

  • @Atashinonamae Ah, thank you for that nice comment, I couldn't ask for more! Do share this video with friends and spread the good humor, I would appreciate it! ;-)

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • @THEsweetlil16 Thank you! ;-)

  • wow, great!

  • @Powershotknecht Thanks! ;-)

  • @Powershotknecht Thanks! ;-)

  • Hallo Julien, it was very interesting for me to read all the information you gave about the procesess af doing this great collaboration, but also about the history of the song. Even I as a Beatles fan could learn something new :-)

    Very nice greetings from Anette

  • @TanteA Danke schön meine Freudin! ;-)

  • Awesome! I can't stop listening.

Nice bass work, Julien, and nice to see you continuing to collaborate with other artists.

    Great job "singing high", Dan!

  • @loinsrch Thank you very much! Feel free to share our video with friends! I know I say it all the time, but I never quite remember who I said it to, so forgive me! ;-)

  • CAN I MARRY YOU. PLEASE!?!?!

  • @danceoutloudbdt Who, me or Dan? ;-p

  • @trudbol well, I'd go for either!

  • That's great!

    Good job!

  • @PoisonLolita4 Thank you very much! ;-)

  • so cool to hear this type of music :)

  • @fnell1959 Thanks! Dan and I had a lot of fun doing this project together. Check out his channel if you haven't already, lots of treats for the ear! ;-)

  • I sing high with a little help from my friends??? come guys, show some respect to the original lyrics.

  • @R3vEN108 Please read the text description: we purposely changed that (tiny) portion of the lyrics to keep it PG13. It's just for fun and I don't think it spoils the cover. ;-)

  • Un délice !!! Merci :)

  • @Kodiakkb Avec plaisir, merci pour le commentaire et n'hésite pas à partager ma vidéo avec tes connaissances si tu peux, ça serait sympa et apprécié (par moi j'entends !). ;-)

  • Sweet!

  • @therealEmpyre THanks, glad you enjoyed our little show! ;-)

  • Amazing! Wonderful collab! Love the harmonies. :)

  • @glosonmusic Thank you! ;-)

  • me gusta :D

  • @Zork07 Gracias! ;-)

  • Very nice, You deserved more views :), Greetings from Philippines

  • @TheCodexpage Thank you! You can share this video with friends on Facebook and Twitter, it's a great way to help! ;-)

  • @trudbol Ouii je sais, je suis fan des beatles mdr!

  • marry me julien!!!!

  • @niknat106 Haha, I'm flattered! Cheers ;-)

  • @trudbol hehe you know i adore your amazing talent!!! ♥

  • Sounds good guys! Very good! I need to start collabing with more people :(

  • @bbstenor419 Thanks Ronny! Making collabs is fun, but it has its challenges too: you don't "control" the creative process and the performance as much as when you do everything on your own. This project with Dan was fortunately straightforward and fun. ;-)

  • Is DanWright32 your son??

    There's a huge resemblance.

  • @DanielTempleUK LOL... Wait... Do I look that old? o_O

  • @trudbol Actually, now that he mentions it... if you looked a little older and Dan looked younger, you would definitely look like father and son. You could use that resemblance in another video collab, later :D

  • Is there some kind of auto tune going on. It sounds slighty and I mean very slightly "robotic". No disrespect to your obvious skill.

  • @uraldneprvw I did apply some minor pitch correction yes, but it was very scarce, so I'm surprised you pick it up. Are there any particular parts and voicings that feel autotuned to you?

  • @trudbol Hi. Thanks for the reply, sorry if I appeared hyper critical. There is just the very minor nuance of autotune occasionally. But hey no big deal, the quartet I sing with all love your stuff and we are extremely envious of your ability. Good lively bright entertaining inspirational work. I like it when youtube lets me know of your further releases. Keep up the great work. Greetings from New Zealand.

  • @uraldneprvw No trouble at all, I'm appreciative of your feedback. I've heard our recording so many times that I get completely lost in the details, so a fresh ear is always good. I'm still curious if you could pinpoint a few specific spots in the son and which voices you feel sound robotic. It would help me know where the problem is so I can learn from the experience. ;-)

  • Bravo!

  • @cyborlite Thank you! ;-)

  • nothing gets better than a Beatles cover done well :)

  • @TheBeatlesBeatAll Thank you very much! ;-)
