can you do this lightening methed on any dyed hair color? also, i wanted to ask you, i dyed my moms hair to go 2 shades darker using CHi ,mainly she wanted her gray hair covered, however the gray hair turned out kind of golden ( i used a 5n medium brown with a volume ten). any advice how how to properly cover gray hair to match the rest? thank you.
Love the videos! I'm also a hairdresser and i wanted to get your opinion on what i could use to keep red haircolor vibrant longer. I have a client who has trouble keeping her red in her hair but she also has really long hair. I use redken color. Please let me know what you think i could use. Thanks!
@alexis32111 Thank you! Red hair color is the hardest color to keep. Tell your client to treat her hair like you would a Red sweater, wash with cool water and try not to wash it everyday. She might want to try using a "Color shampoo and conditioner" Aveda has has a good shampoo for that (Madder Root) and I herd John Frieda has a good one as well.
This bleach shampoo was would probably work for that "Sun kissed" look your after. But, you might want to try a "Base bump.".... Same concept.... just use a High-lift tint with 10 volume =equal parts. Apply it to towel dryed hair...leave on no longer then 10 min. I actually uploaded a video on a base bump I did on my own hair... "How to Color (dye) your own hair: lighten your hair" (sorry my editing was a little weak back then, ha ha)
This bleach shampoo is a geat idea. Can I use it to lighten my naturally dark brown virgin hair?
My hair is pretty short, so I could disttribute the dye fast on it, but would it turn out uneven or orange colour? I want sort of a sun faded affect on the ends here and there, do you have any idea how could I achieve that? I thought about balayage, but I am scared that my stylist is qualified enough for the balayage highlights, and elsewhere it would be more expensive. Can you give any tip? Thanks!
