  • :o That looks gross. Did you eat the rest?

  • I wonder how people would react if they tried REAL AMERICAN food. Main lobster, Elk Medallions in Red Wine, New England Clam Chowder, Fajitas, Shrimp Etouffee, Duck Creole, Sauteed Morels? I think people don't actually know what American food is. they see the McDonald's down the street and think that that is all there is to it.

  • ella do more elegant guides

  • I've NEVER heard of Easy Cheese. And I never eat the other crap she used. I think she's being defensive of British food because it sucks.

  • @ejsecco I'm not British.

  • I bet it would be great with some mustard or a little dill pickle relish.

  • Ohh my it was just a joke don't take it so harshly.

  • I always wondered... what does the food taste like after passing lipstick? Many girls continue eating after checking their makeup in restaurants Oo

  • your videos are quite funny, but this one is just plain insulting

  • @sup1345 Insulting...ly delicious?

  • @ellamorton no and i hope you die of cancer and i mean it

go back to england and shut your rude kunt whore

  • @poosaypirate I'm not from England. But I'd gladly go back for a visit. It's lovely.

  • @ellamorton DONT CARE still hope you get cancer

  • @poosaypirate Are you flirting with me?

  • @ellamorton IM GAY GODDAMMIT; IM NOT FLIRTING WITH ANYBODY THAT DOESNT HAVE A COCK-

FIRST GROW A WANG AND ILL THINK ABOUT IT

    SHEESH WOMEN!

  • @poosaypirate England? Do all English speaking people sound the same to you? How does someone become offended by such an innocuous video? And stop flirting with her.

  • @Xenu

USUALLY ITS THE BRITS WHO BELIEVE THEY HAVE "CULTURE" which is what inspired them to invade entire continents and destroy the inhabitants.,

an Australian complain about Americans having no culture is the biggest joke on the face of the earth, we're all impressed in USA that you can open a beer bottle with your teeth. MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS

  • @poosaypirate You don't sound bigoted or mentally ill at all.

  • @ellamorton also, ive been to uk and the food is horrid there starting with the imitation fake scrambled eggs that come from a paper carton and people put in a coffee machine some how. BARF!

  • @poosaypirate Actually, the Brits very much like to make fun of their own (lack of) cuisine. I've been there too and I loved it. English Breakfast, Sunday Lunch, meat pies, I love 'em.

Now, I haven't been to America (yet!), but when I do, I intent to enjoy the local food too. Pop-tarts and canned 'cheese' may be inedible, but I love a good burger.

  • @poosaypirate Also, Ella is awesome and this is clearly just harmless fun. You shouldn't be so easily offended.

  • @Cutlesnap I HOPE YOU BREAK YOUR LEGS AND DIE OF CANCER

  • @poosaypirate Well, I do have a cock, so I guess you are flirting with me.

I am not the least bit aroused.

  • @Cutlesnap NOBODY WANTS THAT

PS DUTCH PEOPLE HAVE NO FUCKING ROOM TO TALK ABOUT FINE CUISINE BLAH!

  • @poosaypirate Sir, I shall inform you of the Bossche Bol and the Limburgse vlaai. Also, 'bitterballen' are tons of fun. They are essentially balls of meat in breadcrumbs, and when you present them to a foreigner, you can say "would you like to put my Dutch balls in your mouth?"

  • @Cutlesnap nobody cares just to back to parroting stereotypes idiot and wonder why people wish you had cancer

  • @poosaypirate Excuse me, but exactly which stereotype did I parrot?

  • @Cutlesnap and on behalf of my dead grandfather you can go fuck yourself

  • @Cutlesnap FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART; I MEAN IT

  • i love all of your videos! don't listen to haters :)

  • Didn't they tell you it was rude to talk with your mouth full? ;)

  • This is not funny at all. Instead of wasting the time to make this garbage, why not make a video that really teaches people how to make American cuisine? I have been living in the US for quite some time, some foods are quite good. Gumbo or southern style stews are wonderful.

  • @ttiiyy I would love to, but I'm terrible at cooking. Got any tips?

  • @ellamorton There are many cooking videos on youtube. They are all great examples. Go to wiki, look up American cuisine. Choose the dishes that you like. Type these names of the dishes that you like in youtube search box. I promise you that you'll find someone that has made a great video showing you how to make that dish.

Just do something meaningful instead of making garbage. I am impressed by Korean cooking videos by a Korean lady. The media even did a report on her.

  • @ttiiyy You are a veritable font of useful information.

  • Comment removed

  • @ellamorton Really? LMAO

I just love your humor :) Keep it up.

  • @ellamorton I hope I did not sound too harsh in my previous comments. It's just the way that I talk sometimes. Just don't make fun of the food when you can't cook very well.

But then again, humor is all very subjective.

  • @ellamorton

Search this youtube user Maangchi. She's not a masterchef, but she uploads wonderful cooking videos.

If you are humble enough to learn, there are great resources everywhere online.

  • she looks like Kirsten Dunst

  • @kyochan1981 -___-

  • People please can you tall me food that is american in a way it is populat there or was popular and something everybody ate, but smth that is not this half food - there must be smth like cooking in it, prepacked is not making it for me , I mean the food like Baked Alaska, pretty please!

  • Could y'all post the recipe for me. I bet my younguns would just love this fer breakfast during the week before school.

  • YOU ATE IT AAARGH

  • The best part is that you actually tried it :D

  • That was nasty.lol

  • Wow...that's alot of junk food. But oddly, it looks really good. I love your videos, Ella! Yeah, I'm from America, course we don't eat like at all the time...however, some households....

Anyway...thanks for making my day better!

  • is this a joke? elegant cuisine? loooooool that was disgusting ughh if you are using sarcasm let us know otherwise this girl needs lots of help.

  • @tigerik I am achingly serious in all of my videos.

  • I'm an American, and I find this disgusting. This is a sarcasm video, right? I hope so.

  • Nobody likes colored Twizzlers. Those are gross!

Everything else. I would eat. :-P

  • How nutritious! Eating all the colors of the rainbow, plus I think it's worth pointing out that no wolly mammoths had to be slaughtered for this dish... it's practically cruelty free.

  • 5 whole minutes! This American won't eat anything that takes more than 30 seconds in the microwave! I do like the tip about not having to toast the pop-tarts. Now I can sleep in just a bit longer.

  • Haha! This reminds me of my Canadian friend and I always poking fun at one another! She lives in an igloo and eats syrup all day! Ella, will you ever show us your pet kangaroo in a video? :D

  • Om nom nom nom!

  • Was it really that good? you should make a Southern Elegant Guide to American Cuisine. :D

  • ella, will you marry me?

  • lol clever Nigella Lawson moment there in the end lol.

  • yuck!!! *puke*

    but lol

  • I'm making one!!!!!

  • @fishguru73 I love Americans! I bear my US passport with pride. And I love a culture that can laugh at itself.

What's your favorite American food? I need some tips on what to try.

  • @ellamorton Try some Yankee pot roast. The taste is unbelievable and the price is payed in full.

  • @ellamorton Have you tried chickenfried steak with mashed potatos and fried okra? That's the best american meal around, and it's also a law, you can't ever move to Texas without trying it at least once in your life.

  • what cuisine was created here...? I've been looking everywhere and it all just seems like food that was brought here from other cultures.

  • @fishguru73 "snobby bitch". now, on my list of "what i think about americans" i can add, after "food sense of a kindergartner", "awfully rude". what next? :)

  • @MaryAsane How about fighting and dying in Muslim countries to save you from suicide bombers?

  • @fishguru73 sorry to say but you're not saving me from any suicide bombers :) only being nosy and meddling with other countries political situation, messing the world's economy and finally being asses on the internet. cheers

  • Top notch acting! It takes skills to make something that... interesting look delicious.

But Ella, did you eat the whole thing?

  • haha i feel sick D';

  • I would try this delicious thingy :)

  • Cheesefest ! ^_^

  • Andrew Zimmerman ain't got sh!t on you

  • This is what I call food engineering! hahaha

  • FYI-Vitamin D does not come from the sun, but rather as a reaction to a cholesterol in the outer layers of the epidermis being exposed to ultra-violet light waves. Fun, huh? =D

btw - I can't believe you actually ate that. And, you made it look so elegant, too! 100 points for you - good toward a brand new used bookshelf!

  • In the outro, were you eating something for its own sake, or was that just for the video?

  • It was just for the video. Trust me, cheese in a can is not one of my staple foodstuffs.

  • @ellamorton -

Is whip cream from a spray can also gross?

  • Made me cringe when you took that bite.

    Lol.

  • Ella, I must complement you on your use of the gourmand's nomenclature of Twizzler flavors. Of course the true Blue Blooded American uses the Twizzler color as the flavor. Your addition of one more "purple" is very proper. Many people suffer from the over-correctionists syndrome of calling a purple Twizzler "grape". Cheers.

  • Well that certainly had the desired response from me! All that processed food gave me a sense of revulsion beyond what I've felt for some time. Nice touch with the Vitamin D comment, educational and humorous!

  • Elegance >Easy Cheese

  • is this some kind of joke....who eat that?

  • @aghiff

I congratulate you on your perspicasity

  • @T1carus bonus point for using perspicasity!

  • I liked the satire of hype about calcium.

The damage to bones from eating animal protein is a bigger issue to healthy bones than how much calcium one consumes.

  • Oh my! You said once a week.

For some reason I had thought The Elegant Guide was already over and this made my day. :)

By the way, I loved your disgust face.

  • Ella, your naivete concerning classic American Nouveau Cuisine is astounding. You'll find the preferred cheese spread is "Cheez Whiz." Only lazy modernists use "Easy Cheese."

As always, great writing, great performance.

  • hahahahaha

  • "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach."

A great idea for a romantic dinner this Valentine's Day.

    Ella, thank you so much!

  • seguro le dió dolor de estomago y luego diarrea comerse esa cosa tan horrorosa

  • Screw Saw! (see what I did there?) This should be shown in cinemas every halloween! I'm getting aftershocks it was that bad. . .

  • I'm something of a culinary artist myself, and i think that if you were to dice the twizzlers and swap out the easy cheese for alternating layers of nutella and marshmallow fluff, you would find you have an even tastier and more manageable snack to enjoy.

  • ...disgusting.

    5stars!

  • but where is the Ramen Noodles. Its another versatile staple of American Cuisine.

  • "little silver sleeping bag." amazing.

  • wife in the 50's, nice!

  • Wow, nice Vodka back there...

And thank You very very much for proving that I don't subscribe channels only for good looks but for quite good stuff...

Btw how does this strange cheese tastes?

  • lololol i seriously wonder what that tastes like...

  • Ooop! He lost his leg! lol

The scary thing is how close this is to some of the shows I've seen on the Travel Channel and Food Network.

Also, I love the boxes of cereal on the shelf above the stove, like they're waiting to be used in "cooking."

  • theres not much that dosent taste better w/ easy cheese on it; still you should qualify for some kind of award for bravery for actually putting that in your mouth!

  • A little too long I think. Good though.

  • That's what she said.

  • I wish.

  • Ahhh....I'm so glad I live in Japan right now....

Looks like something Will Ferrel would eat in ELF. :P

  • Elegant Ella...

  • I nearly SCREAMED when you took a bite out of that. xD

  • I think this is one thing I wont try...not because I'm afraid, mostly because I wont be able to get all the ingredients in Sweden ^^

  • Might want to cut back on the 25 second intro.

  • I dunno, it makes the anticipation for the video so much greater.

  • Sorry man -- I'm using other people's equipment, resources and time to shoot these episodes, and since no-one's getting paid, they need to get promotional pre-roll.

Ah, the lucrative world of online video!

  • Touché.

  • Your kitchen is amazing! =)

  • I wish it were my kitchen! It's actually the kitchen at Bennett Media Studios. Lots of TV chefs have shot their shows there!

  • i think this is my favorite elegant guide so far. i used to eat so much easy cheese, every time you put on a layer i cringed. and major kudos for taking a bite. the look on your face was amazing, and then you just kept on going. well done.

  • What kind of wine should you serve with that?

  • One that comes in a box.

  • Of course! *facepalm*

  • LOL - you've gone off the deep end with this episode (not really a bad thing) - wondering if that actually tasted good.

  • i will loose my teeth with this cuisine, next episode - dentist

  • That's actually my favorite food.

  • oh ella, why arent you on the food network!?

  • I'm open to offers!

  • I'm pretty sure Pop Tarts are banned in Australia due to being unhealthy. When I was in Melbourne last December, I couldn't find them in the stores (until I went to the USA foods store). Once I shared them with my friend that I was staying with, she became amazed by how delicious they were... then she spit it out of her mouth when she read the nutritional facts.

  • real American Cuisine :D

  • GROSS!!!

  • mhm, I guess I'm not making an obviouse 'I love the way it comes out like that joke'. I was going to comment Om nom nom, but as I see, I'm too late :P

  • o.O

  • And then you took a bite of it... you really are committed to your craft!

  • If there's one thing I love about Ella Morton, it's her arms.

    God I love her arms.

  • hö?

  • Oh gawd, I can't even believe you took a bite of that. I have a new and profound respect for you, ma'am.

  • You're such a weirdo! =P

Never stop making more episodes. Ever.

  • I prefer the term "eccentric". There are at least three more episodes to come, and then I'll see what happens!

  • new subscriber, and glad I did.

    Very entertaining :D

  • I'm not sure I want to try those ;)

Good video again, Ella, thanks for all the hard work!

  • ughh and to think cadbury's were bought by mr. Easy Cheese

  • Poor Ella! With that much cheese, (and those colourful stuff), I hope this is part of the deranged advice the character gives!

  • I think I threw up in my mouth.

  • I love your dress!!

And I have to admit, I REALLY love easy cheese, but not the American kind, the cheddar.

  • Om nom nom nom ... I'm gonna make one ;)

  • you should of crushed the cereal and sprinkled it on, also it needed some cake frosting.

  • I'm British so I best not comment on how bad another countrys food is.

  • I'd never say no to a jaffa cake. Or a Pret bar. Or anything from the readymeal section at M&S!

  • @ellamorton You like jaffa cakes, is that with or without easycheese

  • nice improv on the broken pop tart :-)

  • This was a one-take shoot! There's no way I was eating that thing twice...

  • you make fun, but some people actually eat like this.

  • Loved it.

  • Just watching you make that made my arteries harden.

  • lol pimping those layers of easy cheese

  • Ella FTW!!! :)
