  • Geez..

  • Anyone know what year Martin that is that Jeremy is playing? D28 I think?

  • the G-run at :38 is KILLER!

  • wooow 5 stars great job

  • Wow you guys sound awesome!! I love this style of music. Have you ever heard of Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band? You guys remind me of them when they were just starting out. Great job!!

  • who doesn't love galax ?

  • Nice to see young folks who can pick and want to keep the music going. How about 6 stars!? -L-

  • thanks for the songs...I walked by several times on my way to the stone palace and heard you a pickin' away.....good old galax I say!

  • these guys are great!! anyone know if you can pick their music up anywhere? would love to have a cd of them

  • wow Bass Mtn Boys classic and one of my favs.

  • I have been going to the Galax convention for 30 years...It's all great..but for many years I found the 2am jam sessions around the park are always a fantasic bonus..

    Fantastic job Guys

    see you in August :)

  • Regardless of what "urfaceislolburn" says, ya'll are really good. I can't play guitar that well. I wish I could. Maybe if urface is so much better he should post a video response. Yankee Ass in FL. HAhahah I live in FL. Great Picking though!

  • God damnit I want to play with you guys so badly. I'm a little better than that guitar player, but he is great and you all sound SO good! Love it you guys are awesome. I HAVE NOBODY TO PLAY WITH IN FLORIDA YAY! Everyone blows here =(

  • The guitar player can wax your ass. You need to keep your yankee ass in florida because I'm sure you can't cut it.

  • Yes indeed

  • woahh... my Surnames McCollum.. think were related? haha

  • The bass player doesnt suck. You are right about him speeding it up. It isnt like they were on stage. They were just jamming. Have you not ever sped up a song before. Relax dude. Bass player your a good bass player.. Keep it in the pocket is my only advice. I know it is hard to stay at the same speed when your playing and it sounds so good and you feel like you just took a hit of acid. Play on

  • Guitar player is a beast! The bass player sucks. He speeds it up about 2/3 of the way through the song. Good Though.

  • Not so, what he was playing is essential and speeding up a song is only a part of jamming.

  • Speeding up a song is onlt part of jamming if it is intentional or YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO KEEP TIME!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats probably the stupidest comment ive ever saw on youtube and there are some retarted ones out there. this song is sped up about 2/3 the way through when lrb does it the bass player is just as good as any of the rest of them hes in the band and jamming with them isnt he?

  • GET EM SKEETER

  • Sounds great guys! My Dads from Galax (Alonzo "Red" Houk). Beautiful Place. Great music!! 5/5

  • great song guys, keep up the good work

  • This is the underground movement in bluegrass. Promoters are scared of it, and you dont see it on stages much but on friday and saturday nites in the southeast young people are MASHING IT!!! Jamgrass is back with a vengence. Keep Mashing!

  • the "underground movement in bluegrass" Are you serious?? You can go to any bluegrass festival and hear jamming like this... "Promoters are scared of it" you must be living in some other world !

  • I agree, I've been playing near 30 years now and this is how I learned...........this is how it's always been done at the fiddler's festivals/bluegrass festivals etc... that I've been to in East Texas and up to Oklahoma.

  • Ain't no underground about it. We've been jammin' hard grass for years. Ole Don Day, who hosts the Starvy Creek festivals, loves it 'cause it brings people from KS, OK, AR, and IL. Best dern fester around!

  • And ya'll don't have an album out? I'd buy it in a second.

  • This is my favorite video on youtube! I wish I could jam with you guys. Nothing sounds better acoustic and on the spot than a bunch of strings and a banjo! Seriously tough, you are all very talented musicians and thank you for sharing that with us. :3 Have a great day!

  • Its a huber lancaster.

  • superb

  • Eli Johnson, wicked on that Bass.

    Cheers brothers,

    WCBB

  • Like David said, that guitar sounds really good, too. Jeremey is a very talented player, boy !!

  • One of my favorite YouTube vid's...you guys have the 'hard drive'

  • oh wow...I want you guys to do this at IBMA and I wanna be around when you do it = )

  • Awesome. Love it. I know this kind of music is generally about loss and pain and heartache, but the tempo and the melody never fail to put a smile on my face. Thanks for posting :-)

  • You guys sounded great. Nice work!
