Within the game, she embodies the negative consequences of humanity's survival, through the most exaggerated extent: unforgiving raw realism, selfishness, mistrust, and discordance.

This is one of the biggest flaws in ME2, in my opinion--your crew members wanting to bang you if you so much as give them a polite hello. BioWare games are usually rife with this (in Dragon Age, pretty much just talking to your party members is enough to convince them they're becoming your love interest), but ME is the only one (if you play male Shep) where your crew will flip their shit if you reject them.

Eh. The romance thing never appealed to me anyhow.

@Bakazuraz When you get to this point, choose "No" and "Agreed. No romance." After that, you can still initiate dialogue with her. When you ask to chat, she'll say you've talked enough, but you can still ask her about other things.

I think that was biwoare's point. In one interview Casey Hudson stated that you know a character is very black and white like Jack since you either like her or not; he seemed rather pleased with creating a character who had no middle ground. Devs like to play those games.
