Thank you so much for saying this! I am a teacher, but have decided to stay home with my little ones the last couple of years. I wouldn't trade it for anything! I so appreciate your poetry and thoughts!
I agree with Bannister4012. This needs to get of YouTube and into the world that isn't getting any better. And I am getting off YouTube now to go love the one thing that it's still a miracle I have with all the physical, emotional, and spiritual garbage of today I consume: I still have a life. And love it, I do.
This is so awesome! LOVE it! Thank you for your awesome work, creativity and passion. If we don't all get down to business and start teaching children and families how to be healthy, we will have a huge price to pay (no pun intended) when the most obese generation of children gets old enough to start suffering the multiple medical consequences they are on a collision course with. This appeals to children and adults alike and it's catchy and inspiring.
Incredible. I am a strong health advocate and I'm in school to educate myself as well as others about this issue we have in this world. The way we overlook our health as if it's negligible needs to change. It's our lives and our Earth at stake. THIS needs to exposed to EVERYONE because health education is equally as important as academics, if MORE SO.
Right on, Taylor Mali. I am with you. I love the way the word animation entertains and communicates the impactful message with clarity. Thanks for sharing.
parents need to be involved....(period) in all aspects of school. The responsibility of parenting needs to be handed back to the parents instead of the school system handling it all
Thank you, thank you, thank you!... for addressing the health issues we are facing with our youth, parents, and country as a whole. It's about time someone, outside of the health education field, advocated about the importance of requiring health education in school. As a health educator, who is always looking for more advocates, I give you two thumbs up! I will be sharing the video with our state's community of health educators.
Just got a chance to watch this . . . finally . . . great poem!
My dad was a pianist and teacher and would have absolutely loved this poem. He was very frustrated, while teaching in the Los Angeles Unified School District, by seeing children show up for school day after day with nothing truly nutritious in their lunch boxes. No wonder there was a discipline problem.
I'll be sharing this poem with everyone I know and hope that others will as well.
Those people that disliked this are the unhealthy or don't want to become healthy :P
