If we said it we would get smoked. Unless you are in the now basic trainning were you can say what ever and not get in trouble or pull out a stress card. Army basic trainning got weak all of a sudden.

@imbeastly126 OK.....Obama may not even be president by then, even if he is, that will have little effect on your service. You say he is TRYING to pull troops out, but is he really? Deployments are anything outside of the continental united states. As long as we have over 600 bases in over 130 something countries...there will be deployments...I myself have been thinking about re enlisting...but...I am trying to watch the world situation right now..and it is not an easy thing to do..

@imbeastly126 well i believe it will be better than the life you are living if things are that bad. youll make lifetim friends and be guaranteed a job. you can say you are an infantrymen in the US ARMY and can have a family with benefits, etc.  I think it is good for some people. Sign for four years and see how it goes. But if you can get teh degree and go in it would be better. you could always get a degree in the army tho to. choice is yours. start training now.

Gonna set things straight for you guys saying "11X" chances are you're not going to special forces(like 1 in a million chance). Sorry to say. You're recuiter would have told you anything to get you to enlist. You'll PROBABLY be 11B, maybe 11C. Fort Benning is soft now. Sure you'll think it's hard because it's like nothing you've ever done, but it's still nothing compared to what it used to be. And stop saying "hooah." Only soldiers are allowed to say that, MEPS graduates aren't soldiers.
