  • Yes, I know exactly where every penny of my dues go.

Some pays for my Union halls operation, Such as the building, the wages of the Business agent, Dispatcher, General Secretary and others, that happen to be members themselves we have elected to their positions.

Some pays for our apprenticeship training school and our training coordinators, also union members.

    I get itemized expenditures regularly.

    I gladly pay my dues!

  • I feel that bitching is not a cure for ignorance!

There is a better way. I am Union, I love my job and the Company I work for. My boss is a great person to work for and look forward to work each and everyday.

I provide my Family with a decent living and actually enjoy doing it!

My job is very competitive and very rewarding.

I carry a Union card, it doesn't carry Me!

    Everyone deserves a better life!

  • I haven't read any case where a court found a union guilty of anything this video claims. When has anyone in the last sixty years been forced to work a union job against their will?

  • I am 66 years old and the only time in my life I was ever yelled at for working too hard was when I was a union laborer doing construction work. I was yelled at and told to slow down, they wanted to job to last. Unions have killed our economy and they need to go.

  • Most corporations spend more on politics than unions. So what do we do? Top corporate officers make hundreds of millions of dollars(Thousands make billions) while thousands of mid level Corporate officers make tens of millions of dollars.

    "How much do you make?"

  • Do these big hundred-thousand dollar or more unions' members get to vote who represents them? If not, the unions are pointless. If so, the members should pick people who are less corrupt. It's that simple.

  • my union dues go directly to the pocket of someone i dont know.

    and im forced into this.

  • YEH THE MONEY GOES TO RACKETS OF AMERICA, THE UNION BIGWIGS ARE OUT FOR THEMSELVES AND THE GOVERMENTS AS WELL

  • There was once apon a time where Unions used to represent the people, but it is now being runned by political crooks, mainly Democrats, and beaurocrats who are in the Unions' pocket. The mobsters also made the Unions what unions are today. I am grateful I do not work for a unionized place, I used to a long time ago, what I seen of the union rep we got, she was the shit.

  • My dues are mandatory (or no job) The go to candidates I do not like, pamphlets, Christmas parties with prizes, driving people to voting booths, and on and on...let alone giving money to candidates pockets err uh, campaigns.......

  • The truth is that Government and BIg Business is the real enemy....stop being sheep

  • Very good vid. I think union administrators can now be classified as, in class warfare terms, "the new rich." And what do they do? Not that much, but that could be because I see this first hand in private sector unions. Public sector unions need to be cut off entirely because their involvement in the Federal Government is a massive conflict of interest. They campaign for Democrats, and if or when Democrats get elected, the bosses get more money on taxpayers dime.

  • Democrats! You out there? Why are you silent about this?

  • Unions the enemies within deal with them accordingly....

  • I grew up in the Peoples Republic of NJ. When I was in High school I took a summer job at an alloy plant to help pay for a car I was restoring. I was told that I had to pay union dues but since I was a summer hirer they could not represent me if I got hurt on in some trouble, but they would advise me. I told them I did not want to be in the union. They told me I had no choice if I wanted to work there. What a rip off! Thank God I live in AZ now. They should disband all unions.

  • Unions and democrats, fat and happy while the people starve.

  • Comment removed

  • Virtually every radical agenda oppressing US is a result of union activism. Green Jobs, CapNTrade, Obamacide,

Fannie Freddie fraud, the GM scam, diversity fraud, out of control Immigration , cash for clunkers appliances and cars.

Unemployment bubbles and TSA threats, The public scruel system. Foreign aide policy, the UN and pentagon. EURO unions taking over domestic unions. 75 percent of the right to work economy used to be US , now US taxpayers can watch THEM carry signs.

  • It's no secret that they got the crew elected in the WH. The machine in Chicago chased away all the convention business. Merit shops are an alternative. Almost all pensions are worthless. California pays a

cop 130k a year and benefits are 90 percent of salary. The seiu gets dragged off downtown streets by the CPD and lets all the undocumented go. All the locals are opting out of Obamacide. Email your rep and tell them to vote NO on card check . The outfit used to get away with murder .

  • Public sector unions should not exist at all. The imbalance of power there is just staggering which is clearly evidenced all over the nation by the insanely out of balance payroll and pension plans.

And it should be patently illegal for a union to be able to spend union dues on political campaigns against the will of the member.

  • I have absolutely nothing against blue collar workers, I am one. But unions in this nation are responsible for a tremendous amount of damage. And to be fair, I don't just blame the unions.

The progressives of Wall Street and progressive bureaucrats also have had a major hand in our destruction and lets not forget the Federal Reserve who is the worst of all.

  • @kmg501 the progressives of wall street?..whose that exactly?

  • @ccraigd89

You want to know who exactly? Here is a Huffington Post article on it. (Google)

"Barack Obama And Wall Street: 6 Prominent Bankers And Their 'Unholy Alliance'"

    Also Google:

"Wall Street Elites abet Belt Way Progressives to foist Main Street credit demise"

  • @kmg501 what the fuck is the differance between "progressive" and conservative wall street fat cats?????Obama, Mcain, Palin, Bush, Cheney, Pelosi, Beck all are on the same team..these people are all enemies of working people..this fucking youtube channel is a voice for the ruling class..stop being a fucking sheep.. The real problem we have in this country is a two party fucking system..and corrupt system ran by the wealthy political and business elite..while you defend them on youtube....

  • @ccraigd89

You're just angry without a clue. Ranting without a point. Screaming without understand root problems. You're so angry in fact that you don't realize that we largely share the same complaints. The difference is apparently that you don't understand or are unwilling to learn how these problems come about and how to address them.

  • Unions shouldn't get a monopoly however they do serve a good purpose. I agree no corporation should be forced to recognize or negotiate.

But in all honesty this video was all bullshit. I don't even care about the facts it brings up simply that it was nothing but a smear posting nothing but material to prey on the stupid who will see this and get mad because the video tells them to.

  • In theory, unions are examples of free association.

In practice, they are a bunch of thugs who have contributed to the corruption of our govt.

There should be competition among unions at each workplace, but instead the govt grants them bad monopolies.

Corps should never be forced by the govt to negotiate with them or even recognize them.

And no govt employee unions should be even allowed.

  • @freesk8 competition among union?...unionism is all about solidarity you moron.

  • @ccraigd89 So are corporate oligopolies.

Look, solidarity is a nice little thing to promote within your union, but you have no right to employ the force of the govt to prevent other free associations (competing unions) from starting at your workplace.

And by the way, competition would IMPROVE the service you get from your own union! If they have no competition, they have no incentive to do a better job while spending less of your dues.

And when you insult me, it only makes YOU look bad.

  • @freesk8 competition between unions is stupid and counter productive..in a well run and active union with active members. if they have a problem with their unions policies they have the power to change it..and I don't believe in Union administrators or bosses making more then their members at all. But there is nothing wrong about refusing to be a pussy and crying about your lack of pay and bennies when you can organize and do something about it. you're all a bunch of fuckin backwards idiots.

  • @ccraigd89 And you, sir, are advocating violence against peaceful people.

You would FORCE others who want to organize, but do not want to join your union, to have only one choice of representation.

You want to intimidate people who want to cross picket lines.

You want a monopoly on labor at your workplace in order to force your bosses to deal with you.

You want to take your "bennies" by force.

That makes you nothing more than a thug. A thief.

And I will not pretend you are otherwise.

  • @freesk8 The thing is this, UNIONS are for the richest of the rich. So THEY can have QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL workers. And the good part is, the checks NEVER, EVER bounce. AND...you ALWAYS get paid. However, the Union-Contractor makes as much as you, for EVERY single worker they have in the field. So if they have 200 workers, they make 200TIMES per hour that you make. AND...IF they beat their bid, by say 100 hours, THEY GET IT ALL!!!! And what do you get? Ruptured disks! DISABLED!

  • @hddragracer1 Sounds like you should get some of your underpaid union buddies together and start a contracting business.

If you really think they make so much money, and if you really can do the work, why don't you?

I'll tell you why: you lack the skills. Whether it's entrepreneurship, design, project magmt, risk mgmt, contract negotiation... you lack it. That's why you can't earn the big bucks, and they supposedly can.

But I'll bet the gross profit in your industry is only about 10%.

  • @freesk8 The Unions were formed (a long time ago) on good intentions and was like that at first. But as time went on it got corrupted and grew too big, I do think Unions should be reduced in size, money, and power. But I do not think they should go away, of they do, they will come back. I am 100% sure of that.

  • I work for a union, and they are worthless. It's amusing as fuck that they pretend to play horse with the company over a new contract, just so they can cave in a minute before midnight. All so they can prance around and pretend like they did a damn thing for the workers.

  • @AndyMH182 then why don't you do something about it? unions are supposed to work for their members not the other way around.. all you faggot pseudo "unionists" bitch about your ineffective unions but don't do shit to change anything

  • Modern Unions are corrupt, greedy, and-anti American enterprises. I hope those under the thumb of unions get a chance to educate themselves and demand massive changes in the core values of unions and their anti American, anti business agenda! If not we must stand up and break the unions greedy and corrupt grip through any legal means possible.
