  • Hey kinda liked the part at the end when you showed the railway yard messy! haahahah

  • i've always loved L.N.E.R

  • A very nice & cheery model railway thanks for sharing it with us.

    Mike.

  • nice track! :)

  • why be sorry the music feits good ;)

  • Pug is just my faviourite train, whats yours?

  • Wats the name of that song?

  • you got any virgin trains there?

  • Wow Dude, The Music i think made it better, Also Sweet Layout ! How many trains you got on there ? And great detail, Im hoping ill get our loft converted so i can stick all my Layout up there ;)

  • if somthing breaks in the middle how do u fix it

  • Has this railway been finished

  • wow mate.

you have yourself one AWESOME train set!!!

    looks amazing!

  • What's the song?

  • dude 10/10 for the layout its fantastic makes me wish i had more space for my small track

  • Flying Scotsman question: Tender or loco drive?

Tender Drive? (put yes or no here)

Loco Drive? (put yes or no here)

  • @crazyracer12 it is fully loco driven. You can drive the train without the Tender on =]

  • @djsims2 thx for the info, but how much did the engie alone cost? I hate Tender drive as it breaks the link if it tips over

  • a) How big is the layout?

    b) Is the PC controlling it? If so, how did you do it?

  • @NapsterVista The layout is pretty big, it takes up half of the loft of a large house, a little bit bigger than on camera.

No i didnt control these trains on the computer but there are some trains which i could do this. I don't really know how it works but there is a DCC chip inside of the train and it connects to the computer by connections in the track. However im not quite sure about how it works its not me that sorts this set out lol. Google it! :)

    Hope this helps

  • @djsims2 Ok thanks. I'm looking to computer control my layout but it's not DCC so it's proving difficult. Thanks for the advice anyway.

  • looks fine to me

  • This is great, lol. Crubba, the video could have been played faster than it is to create the illusion of speed.

Yet I am still greatly convinced that this track is truly and uterly awesome,

    Faved, 5 STARS,

    Wightsnowolf

  • @wightsnowolf - agreed, it is a great layout, but the trains are already running faster than the scale speed, as is common with British railway modellers.

  • @JBofBrisbane ohhhhhhhh im sorry sir!

  • Mate. I'm hooked

  • great track but the music is gay

  • Why do you have a computer??????????????

  • you need more trains

  • still needs alot of work dont you think

  • Quality track!

  • sick that is one asome track

  • Lovely set but would be so much better without the music..Great anyway..

  • there going quite fast for scale speed!

  • can someone give me tips on wat controllers im gunna need???? im a beginner, so make it simple! can i just get loads of those small black and red ones, or do i need 2 buy one big one that controls everything? thank you

  • cool, i might get a train set from asda, i remember when harry potter came out and they started selling the train to hogwarts as a train set, it was so cool, but its hard to come by now.

  • Lol, I saw one in Milton Keynes for about 70-80 quid ! (: LOADS in stock.

  • and looks rubbish......

  • i want one but not looking forward to doing the elctronics

  • dont worry its not hard

  • Very nice layout!

  • Please make another video and where did you get all the trains? great video 5/5 stars this is one of my fave vids on youtube! and the best train vid on youtube! but please make more these are the types of videos that once you see it everybody else must keep up the fantastic work! :)

  • I got a large amount of the trains off ebay as well as my local model shop. I would make more videos but the set has been demolished for the time being as we have a larger loft. It wiill be back though, and when it is back in a few months i will make more videos. :)

  • wow what scale is it

  • LOL pick up the passanger trains speed so they tip over

  • I'm thinking about taking up this hobby, any pointers?

  • Whats the scale?

    Who is the maufacture?

  • the Scale is 4 mm to 1ft. There are many manufactures the most popular of my collection is Bachman and Hornby.

  • my dad had a huge railway that filled up his dads garage. he sold it all when he got married 4 extra cash. now i want it 2 add 2 my puny little railway

  • wow thoes trains was the most creative and most awesome british layout i have ever seen as long as i have been on youtube.

    5*

  • Thank You Very Much! Muchly Appreciated! :)

  • my grandpa gave me his train tracks but he dont have locomotives any more he through them out for some reason i think he did thats what every ones saying in my family hes looking for them though=)

  • Slow the trains down a bit, I don't really like the sound effects you shouldn't of put any on.

  • Woo, fine fish wagons, I have made it my goal to buy as many of these from ebay as I can

  • Yeah that is exactly what my dad did. We have about 30 of them now.

  • thanks for showing! do you use a base board you could raise your train sets up to a more convenient level than all the way down on the floor! looks good from an areal view all the same lol

  • We cant raise it, the loft roof is way too low, shame really.

  • Very nice but try running the trains slower, it looks more realistic!!!

  • I agree. There are many beautiful trains that cannot be fully appreciated. My congratulations, though, on such a great layout job!

  • how big is the layout

  • Nice pretty world.

  • Nice layout. my only thing is, i think it looks to clutterd when there is so much track is one spot

  • hi how big is ur layout

i am in the process of making a 12x6 layout

  • Woot, fine fish vans, I only have 3 (and trying to get more on ebay)

  • Great train set model! Is the train battery powered, or is the track electrically charged?

  • The trains get their power from the tracks

  • Brilliant train set!

    I like the sounds too!

  • Cool layout. do you ever use the mallard

  • nice video

  • What a layout. and a haunting soundtrack to go with it. Wonderful work.

Only gripe is that the trains are going way too fast. The goods train is anyway.

  • why is the flying scotsman carriage on its side? look at 38 secs on the film to find it

  • that freight train should be going a LOT slower!

  • Awesome layout! How big is it?

  • wwo thats kool

  • is that the harry potter train you have got

  • cool layout I like the trains

  • the trains are going dangerous fast in scale.

  • ive got a hornby trainset with 3 trains 2 hornby and one bachmann ive got smokey joe, excalibur express (limited edition) , and i cant remember what my bachmann one is i have it on a rather quite large base board ad i cant wait until december this year and the beginning of next because oxford diecasts are bringing out a hearse and funeral and wedding limo in the uk!

  • if you get burgled, it wasnt me (kidding). this is really cool. my grandad has one like this. its big, with lots of grass, hills, you get the idea.

  • Funny seeing a comment by you here Owen, hehe. Small net, isn't it? I'm a bit of an entusiast, trying to built a layout, need some space, and wood. Maybe you should get your grandad to let you do a TARDIS landing vis on his layout, lol.

  • Ah! hello luke!!!! Hmm. I do have a very small TARDIS model actually. Well, its not a TARDIS but a police box model which i bought at a Car museum back in 2007. Its very small and only about 3 centimeteres tall, so it would look very nice indeed on his layout. I may give it a try, because i could include smoke with sony vegas and the likes.

  • Yeah, it'd be great. 3cm sounds almost perfect size wise. It'd bring a smile to my face if no-one elses, lol.

  • one nice layout

  • the pms pug is a little ripper

  • i have tht small train smoky joe right horby

  • Ultra nice! add some trees though, and what brand of trains are you using?

  • hornby

  • cool its an awsome model make more videos of your trains

  • cool

  • it seems like the cool part would be making it, but just watching them go round and round... Boring.

  • That's pretty good but does get a little fast at points...

I've just recently started getting trains myself but what I do know is that that must have been expensive

  • that must have cost hundreds of £ , $ etc...

  • That looks like great fun. Where can i buy trainsets like these?

  • You can get them from a local hobby shop. There are also many websites that sell them, ebay sell them.

  • wow thats a huge train set and plz tell me how to use my computer to control the trains

  • Your are driving way tooo fast

  • Nice layout. Ummm . . . scale speeds looked a bit fast at times, notably the Pug. It would have been nice to see some slow passes as well. And I know you'll agree when I say that tight radius curves don't do much for realism, but that's the price for restricted room to work in.

  • nice one mate you shoild look at getting some hornby live steam train that will make your set amazing

  • nice set but i diddnt see the point in the sound effcts

  • The sound on the camera is shit so i thought i would spice it up a bit.

  • Id love to start one of these up and have it enclosed within a glass table.

    good work mate

  • Thats tiny comperd to mine. do you use digital??

  • Yes. We do use digital. Our set will be about double the size of it in this video, we had a house extention so loft is bigger. But there is so much to do. I might have a new video on it this year but it depends.

  • well last year i took my train set to the exstreame. I used to have a 3 oval layout in my room now i have a huge Hornby Digital layout in my loft. And its computer controled as well. The biggest section is a huge railway station based on london padington. it can take a train of 10 coachs(although i only have 2 trains that have anothe power to pull that).I will post some videos soon.

  • Wow nice!

  • 2411 nick, i don't see any layout on your videos?

  • cool

  • nice set, how much do you think its all worth

  • I had 1,235$ worth of trains in my rafters then they got burnt in my house fire and I was mad..Anyways..nice set..what scale are these?

  • Probably 00 or HO

  • thats alsome ill show u mine when i upload it

  • wow...thats an impressive layout! my flyng scotsman doesn't work all that well at the moment :(

  • is that the shakespeare express and the hogwarts express? those are nice trains

  • type Mainline 0-6-0 J72 tank engine North Eastern RARE into ebay for absolute bargain

  • Hehe, I use to have a Pug like that one.. It did wheel stands and all, going slow is rather hard for a motor like that.

  • how many staion(s) do you have

  • There are a lot of near misses between your camera and your engines!

  • love the pug too just go a little slower next time k :D

  • lol it was going faster and i slowed down the video clip as you could probably see when the camera was moving round to follow the pug

  • what scale is this train

  • oo guage

  • I'm tryin 2 build a big layout at moment but dont have the space

  • nice. i'm jealous lol

  • well done, ive always wanted to make something like this but i dont have the room :( ...or the money, youre very lucky my friend

  • That is really great looking train set up! I want one for Christimas!!!

  • what make are those fine fish vans as i have 1 but cannot find any others mail me with response

  • wooooohh...nice train set, u got the flying scotsman and the Mallard! exspansive

  • nice scotsman
