  • Merv passed away on Dec. 20,2011. We will have fond memories of him. He provided all of us with many memorable moments and he will always be remembered for his great wit and his unique style of strolling accordion entertainment. May he rest in peace. Condolences to his daughter, Maria, who was always helpful and taking lots of pictures at AAMS festivals of years past. It is wonderful that this documentary exists. He will always continue to live in our memories..

  • I grew up in Alexandria in the 60s, but left the area in the early 80s, so I wasn't familiar with Merv Conn until reading his obituary on the Washington Post website today. I found your 45-minute film elsewhere online and it was a delight to learn more about him by watching your wonderful documentary!

  • I sat in that entryway many times waiting for my lessons.

  • he needs to stroll

  • John, Paul George, Ringo, and Merv! "All You Need is Throat Guitar."
