I agree with him too, but i cant say apple sucks. They relly make quality, like i am now writing from i4 and i dont think imma buy another brand phone till apple loses its current quality. + apple products are the most beuteful on the market!

I personally think Apple is totally aware of this bogging down of each new upgrade on its older versions and is totally ok with it because it encourages more people to go out and buy their latest phone.

Yep that's why I just keep my 3g it's fast enough for me and I don't won't a slow phone plus I don't to lose all my apps or reinstall info for the new iPhone not worth my money nor my tine

i got the same problem..

Every update it makes my iphone slower.

when i bhought the 3G it was like the super fastest Iphone / mobile i ever had.

Since all the updates it became a peace of crap.

even though multitasking is disabled, it still sort of does it. which slows the phone way down.

add programs slowly eat ram up. stuff like pandora will eventually quit or freeze due to a ram leak.

I have been dealing with iOS4 on my 3G for a couple of weeks and I just today managed to downgrade. I'm amazed at how fast everything is again. I can't believe I put up with that damn os for so long. My phone would crash out of apps constantly and hang up when I got texts. Once while I was listening to pandora on wifi, my cell lost signal, while searching for a signal, pandora began to skip and when I hit the home button the whole phone hung up.

They want us to buy the new phone, I wont.

@rawrtastic1111 download the 3.0 ispw file and retore your iphone but when you press restore hole shift key as you do and it will let you select what file to restore from then choose the 3.0 one. 3.0 representing any of the 3.xx software versions, pm for step by step directions and i can get you the files you need too if you dont figure it out, remember, google is your friend

@blckshdw95 iTunes wont let you load a downgraded ISPW file - you need to put your iPhone into DFU mode and use recboot to kick it out of DFU after the firmware loads and iTunes shows up an error forcing you to restore back to 4.0 (at lest that how I understand it cuz i haven't done it yet).

@fanaticacoustic oh, well ive never had a problem restoring any ispw i want, i just option click on mac or shift click on pc the restore button and choose the ispw i need

When i first upgraded to ios 4 i thought there was something wrong with my 3g or i had done something wrong.Because my brother as a 3gs and you wouldn't believe the difference his seems like its turbo charged compared to my heap of junk.Apple must listen to reason and provide at the very least a downgrade back to 3.1.3.PLEASE!!!!

I think apple made things purposely run slower on the iPhone 3G so people would think that they're phones are breaking or something so they'd upgrade to the new one. It's all a conspiracy :P Don't get me wrong though, I LOVE apple, I got the iPhone 4 yesterday and love it.

iPod 2g horribly slow in ios4 I tried loading a webpage and it to 5% battery life to do that o.O and pictures take forever to show and almost every app needs to be opened twice because of crashing

Iphone 3g IOS4 update is now officially a Bad Apple =((((( it looks like $teve job$ is trying to get us to upgrade by bricking our otherwise functional phone. not happy jan! :( Mr jobs please do the honourable thing and provide us with a down grade update on itune. This alpha update should have been entirely optional with an option to revert if we are not happy with the performance.
