Video quality on Apple TV sucks.

It maxes out at only 720P, and not even good 720P.

During fast action scenes it looks like lego blocks.

The color is aweful and $4.00 to rent a movie is too much.

I am staying with my Blu-ray. The Apple TV is a fail.

Apple Tv can connect straight to your modem which handles the rest.

The netflix content in Canada is very limited, as are all video online streaming, rental/purchases services, EXCEPT iTunes. An iTunes based service offerers the most content in canada, even if it is a bit pricy.

Great review, but would like to see you doing some "Pro's & Cons" in your review apart from just highlighting their features.

I am more interested in knowing about the downloading of the movie or show, on the old Apple TV, you could rent a couple of movies at one time and have them waiting for you and you select one. by the looks of it, this is a 1 movie option.

It claims no storage, but must have something cause it needs to hold a movie for 24 hours?

@tldtoday the price is more because you get an actual internal hard drive with it and you can store stuff on it and you had a usb port so you can plug external drives in as well for more storage as well you have 1080p support on the old apple TV I can rip full blu rays and play them on my apple TV as well as any file format I want and I can run NetFlex and I am in Australia!! so yeah so much better than the new one.
