Many young Khmer can speak fine English and many more are getting their masters and doctoral degrees from abroad and come home to utilize what they learn. You'll be surprised to see how well educated the middle class will be in 10 more years or so.

You're right. Hun Sen is the strong man in Cambodia. but remember who started this whole law suit good for nothing shenanigan. Sochua did. I bet she didn't think it would go to where it is today when she tried that little move. I wouldn't blame her though. Think about it. The CPP has been gathering more support in the recent years. the SRP has had nothing going on. They need a little publicity stunt. You know, create something to make their supporters feel that SRP is active and whatnot.

Mu Sochua is truly a Jerng Klaing. She can make Hun Sen sleepless at nights. Without Sam Raingsy, I think the CAmbodian government would behave like a brat. SRP not only is an opposition party but also an eye and ear for the international community. And Hun Sen only cares about the later because they are the ones helping him stabilize cambodia thru aids.

I think the chaos was unneccessary. I think it was because one of her supporters was accused of hitting police, and when the police tried to arrest him, he ran to Mu Sochua. I think the defamation game is stupid on both sides. I don;t understand why she sued Hun Sen for calling her "jerng Klaing." I heard american politicians name-call each other all the time. Some republicans called the new Supreme court justice "racist" and she didnt sue them. Anyway, I do support Mu Sochua for her cause.

Cambodian opposition party likes to play little drama king and queen by overreacting to everything. Nothing new. Their tactic is to walk around in the street and try to create chaos causing traffic jam and they believe this is how they show the government that they are free. I think they need to prioritize their job little more toward creating tangible progress for the people that they are supposed to help instead of making political points by overreacting at anything they think is against them.
