Bit of trivia, the original script called for Shockwave to be killed right after his last line at 1:39. The tower he was in was supposed to be crushed. It never made it into the final cut of the film, but Shockwave was never seen again (aside from random lookalikes). Still, I like to think he survived anyways. :P

@crashkey Even after his transformation, Megatron/Galvatron's highest priority has always been the saftey and preservation of Cybertron. The only point where he and Prime differ is he feels this would best be accomplished under his iron fist, and he will go to any lengths to do it.

Its written in the script that Shockwave is killed in the battle with Unicron. I think at the one part Unicron destroys a tower and its implied that he was in it. But does say in the script that he dies and he never shows up in any later episodes.
The funny thing is that the dinobots did more damage between 5:12 and 5:26 than the entire decepticon fleet attacking unicron. In 12 seconds, four autobots outdid an entire fleet of decepticon battleships.

Where indeed. He appears in 3 static (and very short) shots in the entire film. No-one knows for sure why this is - there are rumours that Snarl's animation model for the film went missing although apparently the script refers to the '4 dinobots'. BTW i got all this from a DVD commentary of the movie

@DayLateReviewer They killed Huffer in the cartoon series. During "Dark Awakening", when the Autobots visit the mausoleum, Daniel walks by the some of the Autobots' graves. Huffer is among the dead in the mausoleum.

True, however, I suppose one could argue that he shouldn't even "fall" at all because this is space. In order for him to fall, Unicron would have to be using some kind of gravity force to drag Galvatron down. Something stronger than his ability to fly away.
But it appears that Galvatron doesn't even try. Perhaps Unicron has the ability to disable the thrusters so he falls in and suffers a slow death.
See? You can send the Dinobots up against ANYTHING and they will survive. Nothing can destroy those guys! I know they aren't that smart, but you gotta wonder why they didn't build more...
if the ship that crashed into unicron's eye was destroyed on impact (which is implied by everyone falling out) then why is it used in season three. i've only seen a few episodes of season three, but i know i saw that ship. what's with that?!
There seems to be some errors in scale in this scene. I don't have a problem with Unicron being large enough to swat Cybertron like a hornet's nest. But strangely enough, he's capable of picking up Galvatron with his massive, bulky fingers and toss him down his gullet. If Unicron is that large, Galvatron should be sub-microscopic to him. It's akin to a 6-foot man being able to see a single virus with his own eyes, and grasp it easily with just his fingertips.

anyone else notice the continuity errors in the acid cover scene? when we first see the robots being dropped in from above, notice that daniel is standing right next to it. in the very next cut, he's running up from the river. it makes me wonder how long that whole scene actually was, and how much was removed in the final edit.
1:15 - The point in the film where Galvatron realizes he's in WAAAAY over his head! That Matrix of Leadership might make him look gangsta, but it won't do him any good when the Cthulhu of Transformers wants to snack on Cybertron.
shockwave died in this scene but ti was cut from the film i belive or not filmed,it is however in the script,it mentions unicrons hand crushes the decepticon command centre with shockwave inside. also the aerialbots etc were not in this as when they started drawing for this they hadnt arrived in the cartoon as yet,this was started at the begining of season 2 part 1 thats why blaster etc are in it as they were around then.
Yeah they were but the movie was being filmed etc before they came into the cartoon series. they started making this towards the end of season 1 from what i remember.
LoL, funny enough, Shockwave was at the Battle of Autobot City (so was Ironhide postmortem). It is sad that Shock wave died and didn't show up again later.
The cover story is that some of the bots from Season 2 were in different places at the time of the war. Like we see the Stunticons fight Devastator in '5 Faces of Darkness' and the Aerialbots on Cyberton. Megatron couldn't bring all his forces on the shuttle, and not all the Autobots would be in Autobot City.
I totally agree. That look on his face totally sold it for me, because it was my same facial expression as a child watching this movie for he first time when it was in theaters.

Before his brain was screwed up, Galvatron was just Megatron in a new body. I mean, he seemed to despise Unicron, he considered Cybertron his (well, Megs/Galvy had conquered it), and he mentions autobots that he had befallen (including ones before his upgrade to Galvatron).

I think his mass would probably be enough for him to pull Galvatron down provided that his thrusters where disabled (which it appears that they were).
If his thrusters were working, I don't think Unicron's mass on it's own would be enough to do it.

if the ship that crashed into unicron's eye was destroyed on impact (which is implied by everyone falling out) then why is it used in season three. i've only seen a few episodes of season three, but i know i saw that ship. what's with that?!

There seems to be some errors in scale in this scene. I don't have a problem with Unicron being large enough to swat Cybertron like a hornet's nest. But strangely enough, he's capable of picking up Galvatron with his massive, bulky fingers and toss him down his gullet. If Unicron is that large, Galvatron should be sub-microscopic to him. It's akin to a 6-foot man being able to see a single virus with his own eyes, and grasp it easily with just his fingertips.

Yes, but he didn't _make_ The Transformers, and "playing a toy" in a movie where he knew nothing about the source material is hardly what you'd call his dream project.

I always thought that when Galvatron said 'Yes of course my master' it was actually Megatron's voice.

anyone else notice the continuity errors in the acid cover scene? when we first see the robots being dropped in from above, notice that daniel is standing right next to it. in the very next cut, he's running up from the river. it makes me wonder how long that whole scene actually was, and how much was removed in the final edit.

Autobots: Bluestreak, Red Alert, Inferno, Huffer (All killed during Autobot City Raid), Beachcomber *Melted*
Decepticons: Shrapnel, Bombshell, Kickback *Disputed. Its unknown if those were clones or if they were really killed on junk*
All the seekers *Disputed. The Coneheads are still around in season 3*
Shockwave *Squashed, the Scene were Decepticon HQ is crushed is the confirmed death, except it was an animation botch to put shockers before*

shockwave died in this scene but ti was cut from the film i belive or not filmed,it is however in the script,it mentions unicrons hand crushes the decepticon command centre with shockwave inside. also the aerialbots etc were not in this as when they started drawing for this they hadnt arrived in the cartoon as yet,this was started at the begining of season 2 part 1 thats why blaster etc are in it as they were around then.

LoL, funny enough, Shockwave was at the Battle of Autobot City (so was Ironhide postmortem). It is sad that Shock wave died and didn't show up again later.
The cover story is that some of the bots from Season 2 were in different places at the time of the war. Like we see the Stunticons fight Devastator in '5 Faces of Darkness' and the Aerialbots on Cyberton. Megatron couldn't bring all his forces on the shuttle, and not all the Autobots would be in Autobot City.

I totally agree. That look on his face totally sold it for me, because it was my same facial expression as a child watching this movie for he first time when it was in theaters.

Before his brain was screwed up, Galvatron was just Megatron in a new body. I mean, he seemed to despise Unicron, he considered Cybertron his (well, Megs/Galvy had conquered it), and he mentions autobots that he had befallen (including ones before his upgrade to Galvatron).
