Bradshaw threw a lot of interceptions, and his team paved most of the way through the SB. Granted he played well in 2 of them but he's way overrated. And big ben is pretty much the same, the steelers record for when bradshaw was hurt or benched was 11-1-1. and the steelers backup last year went 3-1 when ben was out. That's mediocre.

I truly regret that Dan never won a ring. Though they never had a real ground game during Dan's career, the offense never had a problem putting up points. It was very common for Dan to throw for 350-400 yards and 3-4 TD's a game and still LOSE. Dan played during the years when the Dolphins defense was amongst the worst in the league in many catagories. Some mediocre AFC QB's posted career days playing Miami during Dan's career. Dan simply had no defense to back up the offense.

Bradshaw threw a lot of interceptions, and his team paved most of the way through the SB. Granted he played well in 2 of them but he's way overrated. And big ben is pretty much the same, the steelers record for when bradshaw was hurt or benched was 11-1-1. and the steelers backup last year went 3-1 when ben was out. That's mediocre.

I truly regret that Dan never won a ring. Though they never had a real ground game during Dan's career, the offense never had a problem putting up points. It was very common for Dan to throw for 350-400 yards and 3-4 TD's a game and still LOSE. Dan played during the years when the Dolphins defense was amongst the worst in the league in many catagories. Some mediocre AFC QB's posted career days playing Miami during Dan's career. Dan simply had no defense to back up the offense.

Their's only so much you can do when your defense is on average 26th out of 28 teams in the leauge in defense and running, stupid. He was good enough just to get the Dolphins to the playoffs several years they didn't have any right to be in. The one time they made the Super Bowl the D was halfway decent. And for the record, I already said twice now that the 1984 Miami Dolphins D was great on paper, because they played against really bad offense's, but were exposed by good teams. And that the running game was above average (still not great) that year because Marino was throwing the ball for 5084 yards, so that opened up the running game a little. You didn't see that because we've already established that you can't read, and you're as dumb as a brick.

Marino failed to show up in quite a few games. He was notorious for playing his worst in the big games. He blew two AFC Championship games, played like crap in a Super Bowl, and never could figure out the Bills even in years where talent-wise they were pretty even.
Dan Marino was a great QB. He wasn't the best of his era. Joe Montana was. Hands down. Before Montana had Rice, Taylor, Craig, Jones, Rathman, he still led the 49ers to a Super Bowl win (SB 16).

Actually stat wise he WAS the greatest quarterback. Bret Favre, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady broke most his records. Having a good defense and running wouldn't guarente him 4 rings. Contrary to what Bronco fans will tell you, John Elway had that during his first three Superbowl runs which were all double digit loses. To say Joe Montana did nothing in in KC is a lie. Sure no Superbowls (Marty Schottenheimer coached teams never go to the SB) but he did get them to there only AFC Championship game.
