Erm... Unless it's my computer, her diction is quite poor. I can't understand a word she's singing! And it isn't because I don't know the words. In fact, I have the sheet music right next to me.

pirocagrande, it's obvious that lyric voice is just lyric but we must understand that all sopranos (if you have ears, you can hear that)have particular differences in their voices.

from the same 'cookie cutter mold" type of voice...it is a terrible trend...all sopranos have the same sound....no particular timbre..not authentic..it is a disgrace this decade

meh, some people might give you less points on that, but I totally agree with you. I mean I hate hearing the same swallowed soprano sound, not only from that but along from mezzos. I mean, being a performance major myself I totally get it. She's loud and it sounds interesting...but blah, you know? Nothing that necessarily STANDS OUT.
