  • at 9:04..... looks like she spun from daylight til after dusk to turn into Wonder Woman (by the light in the window).

  • you know guys? sometimes i feel sorry for women for what we men did to them. I think we did them more harm than use! ha ha.

  • @themoss You need to feel more sorry for men, they treat each other even worse than they do women(hetero & gay men). If they don't get their act together then they don't derserve women in any fashion, friends or lovers.

  • At 5:14 she nearly lost her handbag. I loved watching this as it brought back so many memories of me doing the wonder woman twirl when I was growing up.

  • @brispaul1 That's so cute! :)

  • I like how she spins inside a sealed crate yet the transformation explosion is visible outside the crate. And how every time she spins holding a hand bag it mysteriously just disappears but when she spins holding a bomb that needs to be tossed it's still in her hand. Apparently being an immortal amazon with super human strength isn't enough to toss bombs hundreds of feet away, ya gotta have the gold eagle tits to do it.

  • Lynda Carter is a Wonder Milf soooooo seeeexy

  • Thumbs up if you were a little gay boy way back then who spun every time WW did.

  • Lynda Carter was obviously waxing everything decades ahead of other women. I admire her pioneering spirit. lol

  • From 4:05 to 4:12 is the best. Going from the one piece black swimsuit to her wonder woman outfit. She looks so good in anything she wears.

  • i like the spins here on season two :) the outfit was a lot better & she dis always spin with grace.

  • I could watch Lynda Carter spin all day long.

  • @neneshubby really? how old are you mate? you must be 63. ha ha

  • I definitely like the music they use for the second season spins better than the 1st and 3rd. More exciting and they changed it slightly sometimes (7:30 through 8:00 really good!). And sometimes they slowed it down and sped it up. Season 3 was very dramatic, not that there is anything wrong with that.

  • some of these were the third season

  • @Steviebabe555 these were all season 2

  • So she basically runs around in a bathing suit, but when she has to go into the water her outfit is like a bobsledder...LMFAO!!! WTF?

  • Oh my god I love this shit! LOL I like the explosion and lights spins better. They are much more dramatic.

  • fanatstic !!!

  • God wonder woman is so hot...

  • i noticed in the first season after she spins she checks for her belt and in the 2nd and 3rd seasons she does not.

  • HAHAHA!!! I was about to type "You missed an episode! The Pied Piper.... she wears her cape!! It was the best one!!" and yet you saved it for last.

  • 8:07 Clearly wasn't Lynda Carter spinning!

  • @PariahScary Don't know why they did it this way, as there was no reason for a stunt double, but it was Lynda's stunt double Jeannie Epper.

  • @LeftySheSwills It was because Lynda became very ill during shooting that episode, so Epper had to actually stand-in for more scenes than usual; it's also why a number of Lynda's close-up shots during the chase-scene were obviously studio-shots filmed later (about 2 weeks after primary shooting, when she was better and some other studio fill-in shots were also shot for other episodes).

  • @tideoftime yes, I noticed a lot of waist down shots of her running in that particular episode...Jeannie had a LOT of camera time in this episode...the first change in the hanger started with Lynda, and ended with Jeannie

  • my dad said that Lynda Carter is still hot! I agree!

  • Would never work today. Cameras every-damn-where. No secret identity is safe. Hell, I'd post it on YouTube even though I'm with the good guys.

  • Imagine if a Lynda Carter sextape from the 70's existed? shit would be better than the Holy Grail. plus it would make Avatars box office numbers look like chump change.

  • I do

  • this is the only woman i can watch spin for 10 minutes.

  • at 7:21 she reaches for her glasses before she turns around and realizes she isn't wearing any.

  • @Eddieb715 very good....i never noticed until now

  • @Eddieb715 hey kid notice at 8:07 that is Carters double before she becomes wonder women

  • no one can be a better "wonder woman" than lynda carter!!!!

  • hahah watch wonder dennis

  • lol, you guys notice in a few of her transformations to Wonder Woman, that ball of light appears even before she begins to spin.

  • I kept thinking she looked really lost when she stops and runs then i realised shes just dizzy lol

  • Thumbs up if you ever used to spin around as a kid to try this!

  • TO THE KITCHEN! na na na na na na na na na na na na na

  • I wonder if she ever accidentally changed on the dance floor?

  • the one in the chair was so cool

  • The spin at 3:02 is hilarious. She does not have do ANYTHING! The chair does it for her! HAHA XD

  • it was very rare to see her transform into anything but the wonder woman suit. And I Think she only spinned into her diving suit twice.. and you rarely saw her spin back into her civillian clothes.

  • @multiz007 when did she spin back into her civillian clothes

  • @acetennis0324 I know this is a stretch as there is an ongoing debate as to whether or not Wonder Woman spun back into her Navy uniform but the only time she did this was more of an off camera spin - check out the youtube vid link below - make sure you add the youtube address to the beginning. Scroll to 3.30 on the clock.

    watch?v=Z-O2etMo_Yw&feature=related

  • what was the episode @ 8:26

  • @beastycookiemonster That Episode is "The Boy That Knew Her Secret"

  • @ticangel33 Actually, it's "Seance of Terror" :)

  • did anybody else hear a scream like "stay out!" or something at 6:29

  • @beastycookiemonster yes lol it was like "OH MY GOD!" or something haha wich would be funny

  • I got half way through this and got dizzy.

  • Love spin at 4:05. Bathing suit & pantyhose into WW costume & pantyhose

  • to whoever made this video, all I can say is....thank you.

Brings me back to my childhood. Cheers

  • I love all her 70s fashions! Check out the Diane Von Furstenburg wrap dress on turn two..Poor thing, what happened to the sleeve, LOL!!

  • somebody had a lot of spare time

  • I wonder if she ever got real dizzy after all this spinning.:)

  • wanita harus banyak berputar biar jadi wonder women..

    wkwkwkwkwk

  • Man she knew how to dress

  • Why don't they put Lynda on Dancing with the Stars?

  • Im getting dizzy...

  • Thumbs up if you own the ww dvd collections

  • @daniel1969o Thumbs up if you own the whole vhs collection from columbia house called re tv!

  • What thort of thong should she thing?

  • raise hands if u want to see ww in a thong

  • When Diana is spinning the music is actually saying "Diana to the Rescue"......just thought about that

  • I love the one in the chair at 3:00. Something different....

  • Love the spin at 1:40 . The flash is very transparent and the transformation is seamless.

  • I really like the spin at 7:29 of her in the black poncho. It looked regal and majestic. It kind of reminded me of Storm which is another one of my favorite female superheroes.

  • 2.22 Holy Mother of God!

  • i wonder if she ever got toooo dizzy after all that spinning over the years of this show. haha. 3 seasons, wow that must be big time dizzeness of spinning . haha

  • This is making me dizzy!

  • LULZ How long is that magic lasso anyway? 3 feet MAYBE?

  • She sure did wear a lot of turtle necks back then...

  • If only my girlfriend could dress that fast I would have never been late for the game:(

  • I used to say when I was 5 "why can't I do that?!"

    I meant it too.

  • she must have really crappy hair pieces most fly off at first spin XD

  • hey! WW's mom; that's the woman from Polergiest !!!

  • @maraisreq That's Beatrice Straight who played queen Hippolyta. Unfortunately Beatrice has passed away.

  • she seems to have gotten the hang of all that spinning by the second season...she doesn't look like she's going to fall over anymore

  • nice chair spin! i know it's a terrible comparison but watching this i can see how Megan Fox resembles her

  • the one good thing about the transformations, is that all those ugly 70's clothes were burned/ exploded

  • I loved the Second Season and really enjoyed the addition of the Aqua suit, horse riding and skate boarding costumes. I wish there had been more to Wonder Woman's outfits - hopefully a new film could introduce this. There should be a full battle outfit / a REAL motorcycle outfit instead of the Aqua suit with different bracelets and a SUPREME outfit when she is in ultimate mode as well as her normal outfit. There should be also a fire impervious costume as well as a flying costume.

  • I wish i could just spin arround to put shit on, I wouldn't be late for work every morning!

  • @maishiranui33 LOL, That's funny. I really needed a laugh tonight.. I wish i could do that too! ;-)

  • @maishiranui33 This comment is hilarious to me. Mainly because of the truth in it.

  • @maishiranui33

You're late for work EVERY morning? In this Economy? How are you still employed?

    Nerd.

  • @TooSlim73, because I'm the shit.

  • @maishiranui33 that's too funny! :)

  • @maishiranui33 LOL, don't we all wish we could do that? :P

  • Wow, her beauty is simply OFF. THE. CHARTS!

  • When I was a kid about 8 years old, I imitated the spinning scene. I didn't turn into Wonder Woman, all I got was dizzy!!!

  • Great compilation, thanks for putting it together!

  • she spins me right round baby right round...

like a YouTube Upload does everytime i click on it!

god bless the powers that be that chose Lynda Carter to play this iconic figurine!

    :)

  • I love the spin where she pulls off her hair scarf! This season had the best spins!

  • @archiver31 - agreed! Same music, same explosion effect, same Lynda Carter... amazing what they could mix visually in 1977... while not perfect (and it was costly), it's still effective.

  • The difference between the 2nd and third season's transformations is in the 2nd, she still loses her hair bun or bow which adds to the effect!

  • notice whe went for the glasses in some of the shots yet they got rid of them earlier

  • The 'rope' spin at 1:30 has long been a favorite of mine. It was the first time the producers had done anything different to get Diana to spin and just...well, it just looked cool!

  • @magicalgirl - the one 2:59 in is my fave. Little did the villain know, hehe... and a good way to set up the situation.

  • Season 2 is the best spin for me because of the catchy music they used and she spins very well in this season :), I just cant believe they changed it in season 3 :(

  • What an ICON!!!!!!

  • I love the funky disco theme that keeps repeating everytime she transforms :))

  • LOL.....I LOVE the very last spin. Once she turns into WW she's like, damn I look good in my cape, touching up her hair!!

  • am so dizzy i dont get it she did it twice in an hour spins spins spins! but she is so beautiful i can watch her all day and night spinning omg beautiful woman Diana Lynda Carter

  • I have total confidence in saying this, but I'll bet they could put Wonder Woman back on the air starting with Season 1, and I'll bet it would win its time slot. There's no doubt in my mind. Who wouldn't want to watch a beautiful super Hero? I never get tired of watching this!

  • All that spinning is making me dizzy, but it's a nice dizzy! ;)

  • i have all 3 seasons on dvd lynda carter going on 59 is still very beautiful

  • She was the shit. Till this day I wish could do that. I remember spinning until I was completely dizzy.

  • Man, I could watch her spin all day. Was always my favorite part of the show :)

  • @hfxmusicman I totally agree with you my friend. When I was a kid I used to wreck my brain trying to figure out what was going on behind the flash of light. As a child you actually believe in super heroes. We used to make our fake paper bracelets, use an old cord or piece of rope for our golden lasso and we would just have good ole fun pretending to do what wonder woman did. kids actually used their imagination back then. Now they are just glued to the television and computers. It's sad.

  • Lynda should be Queen if there were a movie! I agree with that statement from: badgn. I so fondly recall the innocent yet emotionally secure way Wonder Woman was shown in the late 1970's and Lynda herself is probably the only one to pull it off so well. Lyle Waggoner is great but they needed to write him in with more exciting things to do and he could have been as equally great as W.W.

  • 5:11 makes me lol. She's swinging her bag around wildly and it's throwing her off balance, plus it completely disappears. Good thing this is too old for her to have left her cell phone in there.

  • My Gosh! I got dizzy just rewatching these clips and remembering all my attempts at making a brilliant flash of light on my quest to look as stunning as Wonder Woman.

  • I don't know if ANYBODY will be able to do that bustier anything remotely resembling justice the way Lynda Carter did. She was just so beautiful!

  • This is excellent! i can remember watching this in the 70's.i can't remember

which serie(s) we saw in the u.k but i know we didn't see the first .

  • This is TIMELESS fun, thank-you!

  • And at 2:08 I pass out from too much hotness!

  • la mujer maravilla lo maximo donde puedo conseguri sus series completas...

  • There need to make a new Wonder Woman.Who fits the outfit???

    From Steven Keevil,Ipswich.

  • AWESOME!!!!!

  • It doesn't like her at 8:09. Did LC have a stunt twirller?

  • Only twice that I know of. Once at the 8:09 marked you mention (clearly not Lynda Carter starting the spin, and doesn't seem like her coming out of it either). The other was at the 8:01 mark (clearly Lynda starting the spin, but doesn't appear to be her coming out of it).

My guess is that she was injured or not feeling well when those spins were taped, or they realized after wrapping that they hadn't filmed the spins and Lynda wasn't available to come back to do them.

  • What are we supposed to think happened to her clothes? Did they spontaneously combust and her Wonder Woman costume was underneath??

  • The WW spinn was a cool and daring new superhero transformation method - certainly better the Superman's messy efforts tio get changed in a taxi or phone boxes lol.

Diana Prince must have spent an absolute fortune on all those glasses she lost during each spin! :-)

  • I like all the spins, all of it. She is strong yet still graceful. Wow

  • @5:39 is very good, however the one @6:16 is the best because you get the shadow effect behind WW

  • @5:39 is theee best spin

  • the transformations are soooo great. It takes me back to my childhood as well when I too would spin and transform into Wonder Woman

  • I think this is the gayest thing I've ever seen. That's a good thing.

  • I'm getting dizzy watching the spinning... but loving the flashbacks to my childhood when I would spin and become Wonder Woman myself! LOL

  • I used to get dizzy trying to do the spinning when I was little. :)

  • we all loved her spins..xd!!

  • If they make the movie they should have a part for Lynda as the Queen ;o)

  • Yeah and let her have another spin as the Queen Wonder Woman!

  • Thats exactly what I thought should happen - there could be no-one more suited to the Queen's role than Lynda Carter - and the story line should include Wonder Woman in trouble so the Queen has to come to the rescue as another Wonder Woman (obviously at her age she wouldn't be able to wear the same costume but a variation of the Wonder woman Aqua suit would be ideal). Could you imagine????

  • @badgn THAT WOULD BE BRILLIANT!

  • @badgn or how about Carter playing the goddess Athena, rewarding Queen Hyppolita for taking the Amazons to Themyscira by giving her Diana.

  • @badgn correction, its a TV series now....the movie is still set to come out after the new tv series remake.....but i doubt that the movie is ever going to happen unless of course the new tv series remake gets canceled like most of the good non-drama series these days >.>

  • @badgn that would be awesome and she should show the princess how to change into wonder woman just for old time sake. I mean have u seen lynda she is still hot

  • love the spins always did. tho now you have to question how come no-one ever notcied the light or hear the 'explosion' from diana to ww haha

  • Even more important: how come no one ever noticed the symbolism behind the spinning (like the Earth) and being transformed by the power of the Sun (with a thunderclap sound-effect for added punch)?

  • Yeah I agree I like the season 2 spins better, they seem more intense and power with the music and sound effects.. Also, like her hair better in Season 2, even though it is a wig...

  • 2:25 jajajajajajajajaja

  • I like how in the second season her spins are alot faster and show momentum, it shows a believable transformation into Wonder Woman. When she changes into Wonder Woman in the third season the spins are slowed down and less effective I think.

  • I agree the second season spins were much more interesting to watch than the 3rd season spins

  • I LOVE how this show was pure fun!

A woman as the lead character, brave and true, yet not putting men down or being politically correct with a foul mouth or sleeping around.

  • This season had the best music for her spin. Love it, brings back heaps of memories.

  • Now I am dizzy. Lunda Carter= Goddess!

  • wonder woman is a strong superhero

  • God bless the special effects artist who thought the spin cycle/light burst effect in 1975!

  • Lynda Carter came up with the spin

  • @scottbaino It was mostly Lynda's idea. It was never seen in the comics before, so she really left her own mark on the character in many ways.

  • Hands Down, Bar None-- Lynda Carter EMBODIED the most realistic Wonder Woman..whomever is to direct the 21st century film Best take notes on the 20th century series. I'm 31 now and seen this in mid eighties syndication, I member marveling how Diana Prince became Wonder Woman, A spin; A blast of bright Orange & Blue star orbs; and INSTANTLY a hero..What A Wonder!

  • Not to be nit-picky ('cus I agree with your sentiment), but the burst of light started red, built and peaked white, and crested/receeded blue, a nod to the American flag... more discernable in the ABC episodes, and just a touch more subtle in the later seasons... sorry... my inner geek compelled me to comment ;)

  • I also wanted to know when wonder woman was shown on british tv.Thanks for posting that info.

  • I am a new user, can someone help me out.when wonder woman was shown in the u.k can you tell me which channel it was shown on?

  • Wonder Woman was first seen in the U.K. in 1978 on BBC 1, The BBC had skipped the first season and the season 2 pilot episode but show the season all 21 episodes of the second season & all season 3, but the pilot did aired on ITV on a Easter weekend of course this did confuse some until the entire series was screen on Sky 1 in the early 1990's and later in the 2000s on the SC-FI channal

  • Was the famous double spin the most at once? For some reason I thought there was a triple spin once...lol

  • love the last transformation with the cape.... transforming back to Diana was not shown ever. thanks for this post

  • does anyone know how long it took lynda carter to become wonder woman ie; being dressed in the costume, being made up etc?

  • According to the commentiar that Linda Carter gives on the dvd's for seasone 3, they say it took her about 45 mins. or more to change from one character to the other.

  • As kids we would alternate from being Wonder Woman one day and the Bionic Woman the next. In all of the series what is the most amount of spins and costume changes at once?

  • this was my fave part of the show. my other favorite was when she flew in her invisible jet.

  • Did they actually show her flying in her jet? I know on the cartoon "Superfriends", they did. That would be hilarious to see a woman crouched in a sitting position in mid-air! xD

  • She was just sitting in midair. with her hands on the invisible controls.

  • They showed the invisible plane in the first season a couple of times and at the very beginning of season 2, but they quickly abandoned its use LOL

  • @scottbaino Yes, it was clear but you could make out the outline of it.

  • @captainjaneway80 That was Season One only, as they tried to stay faithful to the original comic. They might have shown in briefly on CBS I think.

  • in the legend of wonder woman does anyone know what causes the flash during the transformation? one of the best series ever!! and if people don't have the dvd's go out and buy them! failing this write letters into sky tv and get them to repeat all 3 seasons!! as it was great! i have all 3 seasons and i adore them and i am always watching them! thank you lynda and the tv station that brought us wonder woman you did a great job!!! has anyone any news on the film they are meant to be making?
