I,m again. I ,ve seen just now that this music wasn't made by You. But thank for it again! I,ve sent it to others, they like it as well!
Anyway I have a melody composition (solely on drums) that,s title is Bells and it is as kind for me as Tubular Bells could be for M. Oldfield. (I went on too and made a II. part too.) For me Oldfield,s Bells are the best at end of the III., that is catarthic.
OK. I see. You where working with what you have. I don't understand why the purists criticise the musicians' work in this piece. It's jokey, we can hear that and there's nothing wrong with that. We live in a free society where this sort of stuff be done and the Secet Police won't take you away in the middle of the night for doing so. As TubularBelle says, Mike Oldfield has an irreverant sense of humour and he would probably love this.
Why Thankyou. I had planned to make 'The Farken Xmas Movie' my 100th video but that is still a work in progress. So my next video will be called 'Adam-From Bub to Stud', it's a morphing video of my son from birth to 21 yrs.
OMG, what a FUN cover version! I love the variety and versatility of the original "Tubular Bells", and this rompin', stompin' rendition is so spirited and well-done! Thanx a lot for sharing, I wish I had found this earlier... it's like an alternate reality country music version! :D
Ha Ha. A band played the Benny Hill theme in the local Pub once and our friend pulled her pants down around her ankles and shuffled/ran around the floor like a penguin, it was so hilarious, the band played it again.
Great job. Very creative. About the only thing I'd do is to add more banjo roll in the banjo section, and try to find a non-reasoning/non-sustaining cowbell sample for your keyboard. May be changing to higher speed too ;) But I think it's very clever all around, it really made me grin & chuckle!
Thanks for your comments but I did not create the music, it was an Aussie band called The Magnificent Seven, and was recorded a while back I believe. I agree the banjo is a highlight though and I just love tongue in cheek covers. Glad you enjoyed it. Yee Har!!
I'm sorry! I kept getting caught up in the doggies! (Forgot the music!) I'm a super, super dog lover and Mollie is just the greatest dog. Reminds me of mine. I did expect Becky to give her a slap on the snout eventually though!

I'm sending this off to my brother, who is overseas on his birthday and I'm sure is missing his burnese mountain dog. Thanks for a great video clip!
