  • Red, it says it on the video

  • Amazing video, amazing song

    5/5

  • u idiot it doesnt have to be about god. it is when you look at it from a religious perspective but thats def. not the only perspective. think of it as a relationship.think about this a man and woman are in love something tragic happens to the man that breaks him...then he meets the woman again and pieces of himself come back, their love is able to complete him again. his lover is the only person who can understand him he can't even understand himself.

  • I agree with you completely...I hear it both ways, just depending on what's going on in my life at the time.

  • i dont think this song is about god geesh people

  • how can u not think this song is about God? just listen to the words of this song&thn look@it in a christian perspective."im here agian.a 1000 miles away from u.a brokn man.just scatterd pieces of who i am.ive tried so hard.thought i cud do this on my own.ive lost so much along the way.then i c ur face i no im finally urs.i find everything i thought i lost b4.u call my name i cum2u in pieces so u can make me whole."hes saying how he went away from God&tried2get through life without him but cudnt

  • i agree... this isnt about god..

    its about a relationship..

    or so I think so.

  • ur rite it is about a relationship, but its about one with God. @least thats wut i always get out of it. and i strongly believe it not just suz im a christian but cuz this band is a christian band.

  • yeah... It is a song about God.... go ahead and see what you want, but the artist's (RED) intended it to be that way...

  • das bild bei 1:50 min. ist schrecklich.mhmm..!!!

  • buen video

  • there is a reason for everthing that happens in Gods eyes and this song has a great reason its prolly my fav. song nice pics on video to cry all the time......thx :)

  • I love this song! It has so much power to it and so much meaning behind the words! I listen to this song everyday! It is very powerful! It teaches us of real live things we face eachday! I love God and all he does!!!

  • i love this songs. it feels me with emotion. im not christian but i believe in GOD and i think all religons are of one god (im a baha'i of the Baha'i Faith). whats with all the hate if its christian or not i dont care if it is or not. i just appreciate good music

  • ;]]]]

  • ya this sounds like it's about god.

Just shows those ignorant church groups, who say that music is evil, that there wrong.

what idiots. i am going to show this one to my ignorant friend who blindly follows the church, hopefully he doesn't see the comment

  • Brilliant song! Nice video!

  • this is fantasic. love this some. great pictures you got. :)

  • thank you so much for this :)

  • well said.

  • its so pretty

  • Beautiful

  • i think that this video portrays the pain and struggle we all feel throughout our lives and how we can deal with it. not everyone does that with the bible. but that is not what is important. its finding happiness anyway you can. and religion is not the only way.

  • Deep, very Deep

  • Why are you all talking about whether God exists instead of the video? Really, I don't think this video has much to do with that.

  • Because the Band is Christian and the song is speaking to God. If you read their materials that becomes evident - so it is relevant to the video to be discussing God.

    Just my take.

  • Not at all. You simply can't see past your own limited finite humaness. YOU were created so you superimpose your own creation on everything else including that which transcends "Creation" and even time itself.

You exist in time and you are trying to put a being into the constructs of time which He operates outside of.

  • "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End."

God is the eternal one. He pre-existed time. He created all things and nothing exists apart from him.

  • or no opps. i CAN always depend on him =]

  • best song i have heard.

    i love jesus!

i cant always depend on him.

  • Sorry but can you depend on him when he sends people possibly friends to hell... thats the one thing that i have never liked about chirstianity

  • i swear. they havent even gotting into the singign part yet and im almost crying

  • alright im kinda on siren's side.yes all the previous sayers have a point. But this video was obviously worked very hard on you it's an excellent video.kudos.

  • guys guys, stop the "god" thing just comment on the beautiful music would ya!!

  • Yeah, because all Christians are the same right -_-. Just because somewhere in the entirety of time a proclaimed Christian has been a murderer, rapist, cruel, etc does not mean we are all the same (I say proclaimed because those who do the afore mentioned things, are not actually Christians-those people are not true Christians and should NEVER be considered as such-"You will know them by the fruits that they bear"). This applies to all groups, religions, culture, etc.

  • Continuing on my earlier vein of conversation- Just because once a man raped a woman doesn't make all men rapist. Just because there's been a certain minority who have killed people, does not make all of them murderers. Are you getting where I'm going with this?

  • Just one point. How is citing scientific facts to back-up my beliefs believing in fairy tales? Also, an open-mind can be an invaluable tool to have; Just what is it that makes you absolutely sure that you can't be wrong?

  • And actually there's so much proof it's amazing. However Psalms 14:1 is just perfect for you.

And next time you're in a hospital, take a look up at the name. Good chance it might be a "Methodist Hospital, or a St. Lukes, etc." So don't give me this "Wars are started over religion" line because for every idiot that uses God to kill for his own glory I can show you 10 that have given their lives to help others BECAUSE of God.

  • I agree with you, wars only happen because of the evil that is within people, not because of god, wars are happening because people have forgotten god

  • People have used God only as an excuse to create war. I don't understand why some people blame god. It's like if they're blind or something. GOD DID NOT COME DOWN AND TALK PEOPLE THROUGH TO AGREE ON BOMBINGS OR WHATEVER... gee...people who have no life try to blame it on others and they think it's smart to blame god. whatever...

  • The difference between the rational/logical thinker and the wishful thinker is that the rational / logical thinker looks at the mouse trap and concludes that it has been designed with purpose by a designer and the wishful thinker says it occurred "by chance."

Why is it the wishful thinker that concludes chance? Because the wishful thinker realizes if it has been designed by a creator he must contend with the intentions of that creator.

  • Very well said, Jorsak. Dead on, my friend. But I have a question: which are you, the rational/logical thinker, or the wishful thinker?

  • lol. Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, MIND, and strength."

I like to think I try to fulfill that as best I can.

  • Well spoken Jorsak! One of the misconceptions about Christianity that has always bothered me is that, for some reason, people seem to automatically assume that all Christians are devoid of all analytical/scientific thought processes. Why? Honestly, no where in the Bible does it say that you have to give up all free-thinking thought to be a Christian. Really, with the way the universe is set up (so well adapted for scientific discovery) I honestly think God WANTS us to question things.

  • Absolutely.

  • And I should add... we all look remarkably like rats!

  • Alright. To start with, we'll begin with the Earth's placement. There are several perimeters that dictate whether or not life can exist. One of these, for example, is the Cosmological Constant. This describes the expansion speed of space. If the universe spread too quickly, no material objects could form, thus no stars, planets, galaxies, etc. Physocists have determined that the Cosmological Constant is fine tuned to one part in a hundred million billion billion billion billion billion billon.

  • (Yes that's an actual number). *Oh and Physocists is actually spelled Physicists as well as parameters instead of perimeters-didn't catch it whilst I was writing it* This has been compared to traveling hundreds of miles into space, throwing a dart at the Earth, and then hitting a bullseye the diameter of which was one trillionth of a trillionth of an inch (less than the width of an atom). Now, besides this, some of the other parameters in which must be reached to for life to be possible include-

  • Within Galactic Habitual Zone, orbiting main sequence G2 dwarf star, protected by gas giant planets, within Circumstellar Habitable Zone, orbited by a large moon, magnetic field, plate tectonics, oxygen rich atmosphere, moderate rate of rotation, liquid water, large landmasses, home star (sun), an orbital path that is not too close or to far from said home star, etc. Honestly, I don't have enough faith to believe that there ISN'T a God.

  • Well said.

  • My pastor loves the band RED...he plays this song at Church all the time. It makes me wanna cry, it's so beautiful. Great job with the images, I like this alot! :D

  • This song is the MOST GOOD SONG EVER i dont have words i want to scream when i hear it.

  • So, what are you buying? That everything, every single principle of our universe, every intricacy of life in itself is simply chance? Think about it. Think of the pristine balance of all things around us. If we've learned anything over the centuries, it's that the earth is set up in such a way for chance to simply not be an option. I have many examples if you wish to hear them.

  • You're thinking in terms "we" as people are able to understand. In the grand scheme of things, we don't understand much. Think of how far we've advanced in the past couple of centuries--and we learn new things about the world around us every day. So think, the entity who created all of us was the one who created everything. So once you get past the principle of creation, which God himself, You realize that God didn't need to be created. He created the principle of creation in itself.

  • i love this song its sooo true too. u did a great job on it it all matches. keep it up.

  • awesome song...great way you made tha photos match tha song...excellent job...you should do more of these cause you have a talent for this...

  • oh my gosh i got the chills like 1000 times while watching this.

    is this a Christian song?

i heard it on my friends computer and i only listened to the beginning.. soo this is the 1st time i heard it.

  • Yes they are a christian group!!!G to there myspace they rock!!

  • but on their myspace it says rock / ambient.

    whats ambient? lol.

    it doesnt say Christian.

i do love this song and this video.

i had to watch it again lol.

  • If you read inside their Album, they all thank Jesus for their ministry and such. I just think they aren't trying to be "overtly" Christian.

  • T_T

  • btw... verry nice clip clubgirl... 5/5

  • no i never saw him... but if u give just a little bit fate... u will feel sumething unreal... sumething i cant explain....it feels like u can handle the whole world.. hes here in this world too... and i feel it its great :)

  • It is true. We have not seen, smelled, or tasted God. But we have heard him, we have felt him. We have heard incredible stories about him. But tat is your belief and I am not trying to tel you that you're wrong. We all have different opinions and beliefs.

  • I don't want to sound like I'm beating up on you cause I'm not. generally I agree with what you just said. However, it is ok to say someone is wrong. Post modern thinking says that everyone has their own truth and that truth is relative to the individual. I can't disagree more. Truth is not relative. Truth is truth no matter who believes or doesn't believe it. It is objective not subjective.

And the knowable truth is that Jesus Christ existed in the form of God, took on the form of man

  • suffered, died, and was buried and on the third day rose again. He was witness alive after hi sdeath by over 500 people.

These facts are knowable. To say that we can all have our differing opinions is certainly true. but to say that they are equally valid is not true.

    blessings in Christ,

    Joe

  • So true so true.

  • I feel so sorry for you.....For anyone that believes like you...I was broken down into so many peices and "GOD" did make me whole....Everyone is always serching for that one thing to make them feel whole. Drugs, alcohol, food, etc. sometimes all their lives and they never find what really makes them whole. I agree with you jorsak....I'll pray for you!!

  • I've never seen your brain (and neither have you) and yet I do not doubt that it is there. Why? i can see that you have typed a sentence. (The "evidence" of your brain's existence.) Just the same, I have not "Seen" God and yet I have seen the "evidence" of his existence.

  • Although I don't believe in God or Allah or something like that, I do have somewhat respect towards religious people. I think it takes a lot to believe in something there isn't any proof for. Is this a better message then that idiot: ubberton?

  • actually there is a lot of proof ^_^ but i dont want to get into an argument. if you ever want to message me to talk about it i would be more than happy to answer any questions i can!

  • Thank you for a kinder way of saying it. However, I do have to take contention with one point. The Bible describes Faith as "The evidence of things unseen." So even from a Biblical perspective God faith is based on the "evidence" of the unseen. There's plenty of proof if you want to honestly look.

  • Maybe I want to look but I can't find it. I think I have been too materialistic (or realistic) growd up. Or something like that:P

  • Well, a good place to start as a basic intro to the "evidence" is with a book called "The Case for Christ." by Author Lee Strobel. You can get it at most any book store.

  • You know the Ateïst also have a book like that. But it is called: "The origin of species" by Charles Darwin.

  • Talking about evolution (while it certainly has the capacity to involve God) is not the same conversation as talking about the evidence for God and his interaction with man.

  • Maybe, but that doesn't evolve the Catholic Church. Why do they need money when God can speak directly to any man.

  • Don't get to focused on spurious side issues. We can talk about the Catholic church or evolution or whatever. However, the issue of much greater important is the existence of God and whether or not he came to the earth as Jesus, died, and was resurrected. This is the single aspect that separates Christianity from all other major religions.

  • What I'm asking myself is that if Jesus was the son of God why didn't he had some magical powers to cut himself loose from the cross?

  • He could have easily removed himself from the cross. In fact he said that "No man takes my life from me. Freely I lay it down." You see, he came TO DIE on the cross. He HAD to in order to die in the place of you for YOUR sins (and mine.) He had no sin and so he did not deserve to suffer the penalties of sin. Kinda hard topic to discuss in such a short area.

  • So you say that you have to suffer before you die, so you can go in Heaven. If that exists:P

  • No... that's not what I said. I said "He did not deserve to suffer the PENALTIES of sin." The penalties of sin are death and eternal separation from God.

  • Is that a penalty or relief. I mean, I love my freedom. I don't want someone ,wherever, looking over my shoulder. :P Also what do you see as a sin? Do you see a sin as killing? Or raping? How can you then justify the killing of threatend species in this world?

  • You are getting into all sorts of red herring arguments here. This really isn't the forum for it. If you want proof that God exists and specifically that he came to this earth as Jesus to die for your sins, rose from the dead, and only through him can you have eternal life then that's very available. To be honest talking about threatened species is really trivial in this context. Not trying to be mean... just honest.

  • additionally, it doesn't really matter what I see as sin. It matters what God sees as sin. If you consider eternal separation from God as a relief, I fear you've really misunderstood who God is completely. The shortest Biblical definition of who God is is love. Eternal separation from love (at least to me) sounds pretty bad.

  • Let's debate this further on message's. OK?

  • What I've always sited as proof is the very world around us. As for me, proof comes in the form of the utter balance of the universe--it just doesn't make sense for all of it to simply be coincidence. Just opening a biology textbook shows me that.

  • Like for example-if you stretched a ruler across the universe, and marked it at one inch intervals, did you know that if the Earth had been moved just one inch from where it is-that the only possible life forms would be single celled. Gravity would be completely off and intricate multi-celled lifeforms could not exist. Just think about that one inch in comparison with all the space in the universe; Seems a bit too perfectly placed for me.

  • You are using the evidence of creation (which is certainly valid). Psalm 19:1-2 says,"The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known."

So you are using David's argument. :-)

There are MANY evidences for God.

  • So other lifeforms (if there are any) have to got the same living conditions as we humans? Maybe the other lifeforms need helium to breath (is that a right spelling?) and a lower pressure or higher pressure then we need?

  • Actually, if you study science youw ill find that Carbon base life forms of any sort are the most probable. There are some other possibilities which Silcon is the most likely candidate mentioned. However, carbon's tendency to form the long chains and rings that form the basis for organic compounds that at some level of complexity begin to self-replicate is unique.

Long story short... there are a couple other candidates but they fall very short of the needed components. Carbon is the one.

  • Lonnng words in that. The word abrieveated is a vey long word :) irony for you.

  • lol. thanks. I can always use some humor in my day. :-)

  • This song is so beautiful.

    So sad =[

    So true =]

    So real =]

    I heart this forevr. <3

  • this is amazing! it brings back some memories.... when you have nothing left and have no choice but to cry out to God... THAT is when the real growth and learning to walk in rightousness comes. *favs*

  • Amen

  • Awesome! I love this song!!!

  • This is my favorite song, I don't know how but it just touches me differently than any other piece of music I have ever heard.

Your video makes it even better! I always watch this video when I need to take a step back and to feel again. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.

  • this is really good, good job. The song, of course, is amazing as well.

  • But no one can put me back together like God.

He truely loves me, and i love him.

  • A boyfriend could put them back together, a mother, a father, a sibling, etc. Christ isn't everyone's answer to everything. Though, obviously this song was made for something like that, because RED is a Christian band, doesn't mean that you have to follow what everyone else things. I think you're opinion was really instilled on this, and people have to accept that. But, accepting others for their differences is a good idea here.

  • thinks*

There are millions of other people I could think of people thinking of while listening to this song. I just did a quick example.

  • You see, everyone has their own religious beliefs. And, I, personally, see, other people and things one could be referring to while listening to this.

  • wow.. great video to a great song!!

    good work!

    be blessed

  • I have been a Christian since I was 7 yrs old. 31 yrs ago is when I accepted Christ as my personal savior. Somewhere between then and now, the path went astray and so did I. Many things have happened in my life and I have made some very bad decisions. I have never heard of RED until today. Thank you so much for this. The light I have been seeking for so long has just come shining back.

  • great song..i love red...great guys,,,brilliant

  • wonderful slide show

    great job

    God Bless you!

  • is this really that big of a religious song? I mean it sounds kinda like you could make it that way. But I think that you made this vid look like the only way a perosn can find happyness when they're lost is throught religion.... but that's just what I saw.

  • i'm sorry if you're offended, and the point is not that religion is the answer, it's that Jesus Christ is...two very different things. He is how i found happiness, therefore that's what i thought of when i heard this song. plus Red is a Christian band (one of the best in my opinion) and i feel confident that's what they had in mind as well. i can think of no other "person" they could be talking to that can put them back together.

  • Maybe someone they love. I know the only person that has been able to save me is the man I love. He helped me so much in my life. And he's always been there for me. I've never gone to church or believed in God...SO I don't really know what you feel. BUt all I know is. Whan I hear this song I didn't see your pictures. I saw my only really savior. My love.

  • no man can save you. In the end he will pass and you along with him and then... eternity awaits.

  • So you are saying that no matter how someone helps me, no matter how many times a person saves me from doing something stupid, and no matter what that person does they can never be my savior because they will die? I'm sorry but that is, the most one sidded thing I have ever heard.

  • No. I'm sorry that's not what I meant. This forum is poor for communicating long topics. What I am trying to say is this: Salvation from anything in this life is temporary. Saved from what for what? Eventually you AND your human savior will pass - then eternity awaits. The salvation that you need isn't temporary it's eternal. You should desire the salvation that is eternal.

  • well its true. death will come to you both (unfortunantly). when you die its either heaven or hell.... you deside.

  • a heart-lifting slideshow... and i <333 this song!!

  • awesome, a very beautiful song.

  • im emo and this song and video just made me change who i am. I recently got a decent girlfriend and she thought about ending it and ill change so maybe shell change! THank You. And im 11.

  • thank you so much for writing, I'm glad that you were able to sort out your priorities. I'm so happy that you have found joy. God Bless you!

  • Yeah, I love this song. Great video.

  • ...breathless...

  • I started crying as soon as he started to sing.

  • I love this song its sad and happy at the sametime :)

  • Very moving imagery, I did cry. You did a great job expressing the song. May God continue to bless you with His vision

  • awesome video, i think i almost cried lol. You should do Already over pt. 2. that would be cool and i would luv ya.

  • haha, i'll see about doing that, right now i'm working on a more hard hitting video, but i totally love already over pt. 2!!!

  • I've been listening to this song so much lately; it's really beautiful. awesome job on the video.

  • thank you!

  • really good it reminds me of a horse at my barn, dont ask why

  • thanks for your comment, though it be random, lol, God bless!

  • You're sweet... I keep him in my heart that helps me a lot...

If you find the site again let me know...

I can relate to the way they feel...

  • The boy with the cuts on his arm that's a real picture... Is he ok?

  • no he's not okay, I don't know him personally, I accidentally stumbled across this entire website of hundreds of teens who post pics of their cuts. I can't find it again, but I keep them all in my prayers. it absolutely broke my heart! he's actually one of the more mild ones, I chose him because his picture was one of the few that had more than just the cuts themselves. you can almost see his face. thanks for your concern.

  • What a great song, i never heard it 'till today... It reminds me of me and my (ex)boyfriend... He had a heartsurgery a month and a half ago, he's only 25... Since then he's never been the same guy... I miss him terribly... luckly he stays in touch and misses me too... Thx for this song!

  • Thank you for your comment! is there anything I can pray for you about with that situation?

  • It's an amazing song, thanx for sending this link... Julzdh, I just want to say: No matter what you're going to decide... or what's going to happen between the two of you... don't let him broke you're hart like he did before and knows that we support ya;)!!!

    Zjg! X...

  • thx julie;)!

  • snx Julie:)

  • haha lol:D
