My two month old Cuisinart as a christmas presents pump started to pump real slowly a few weeks ago and basically all but died this weekend, despite cleaning the needles, rinse cycles AND using distilled water from the store. Now im on my second Costco Cuisinart, thank God for their liberal return policy.
@NickHimSeIf Personally I don't had any problems with any of those. I think the reason you see so many comments about problems because here's millions of them on the market now. Keep in mind that Cuisinart have 3 years of standard warranty vs 1 year for Keurig. Hope this helps. Enjoy your coffee. Aromacup.com
I LOVE my Cusinart! It's BEAUTIFUL and it makes the fastest cup available. I also LOVE the My K-Cup option! You can make a single cup of your own coffee instead of being forced to always buy the K-Cups. It's absolutely amazing. I have to work hard not to brew stuff just to brew it haha It's EPIC! The hot water button and the rinse also blows the other machines out of the water. So to recap, the Cuisinart has My K-Cup allowing you to use your OWN coffee and it has the hot water button!
My mom got a basic keurig for christmas last year and she loves it and i loved using when i came up. Thought about getting myself one all year long but nevera did. Today, santa gave me my own new keurig cuisinart! Im cleaning and prepping it for its fist maiden cup of coffee, im so excited!
I am a cuisinart fan all the way as all of their products come with a 3 year warranty! Now in my mind that is a company that stands behinds their products.
Both of these models are available at Costco; since the Cuisinart is only $15.00 more, the choice is easy for me. Go with the Cuisinart model--you get a metal head as opposed to a plastic one. You get the convenient rinse and instant hot water feature & don't forget the Kcup accessory storage compartment.
Sincerly, I prefert the design of the B70 it looks amazing and the cuisinart looks ugly and 2 big to be in your dinning room. The Time doesn't really matter (2 sec difference) and i prefert the disposition if the blue screen of the B70. Keurig 4 me win
The B60 variety sold from BJs comes with a lot more stuff than you can get with the B70. Comes with a my K-Cup and a very large selection of coffees to begin with. I have a B70 at the office and a B60 at home and notice little difference. I had the Cuisinart as well, but the larger brew head footprint didn't play nice with my cupboard above it, was just a bit too meaty whereas the Keurig fit under just a little bit better was my only reason for changing gears.
Over the last several years I have learned that all these machines last only 6 months, within one year I am on my third Cuisinart! At least my local store replaces them without a problem!
@AMS44067 Sorry to hear about your problems with Cuisinart. You can receive lifetime warranty with Cafe Express Coffee club and newer worry about it. See our channel for details.
If you're in Calgary and looking for Coffee pods try Wine Kitz Calgary. It's easy to find on the web. They have Kienna coffee pods, roasted & manufactured in Calgary.
They also have an adapter that allows you to use coffee pods in most K-cup compatible machines.
@RevelationGJS I would disagree. In my opinion the reason why you see a lot of complains about Keurig Brewers because here's more Keurig's on the market (Keurig-Cuisinart was introduced later). So more brewers more problems. TIP: With Cafe Express program you will receive lifetime warranty for your brewer :). See Aromacup.com for details.
Does the keurig have the filter? Breville makes a point of mentioning that in their video, that it makes a difference. I know cuisinart has filter, any taste dif?
@veggievamp1 Yes you can always buy filter for Keurig Brewers (except Keurig Mini). When you buy Cuisinart-Keurig it actually came with filter which is very nice. 98% of coffee or tea is Water and yes filtered water does make difference. But keep in mind if you use filtered water you don't need filter. Also Reverse-Osmosis water much better water then Tap water filtered with "Charcoal" filter for Keurig. But if you don't have filtered water yes you do need to use filter for Keurig.
