Honestly everyone is either hating ADTR for their "new style" or saying to stop hating because they like the "new style. If you look at ADTR's albumsfrom the first EP to the newest, they have had a god mix of both pop punk songs, and heavier songs and everything inbetween. Becoming more popular doesnt mean a band "sold out" or has changed. It just means that more people have realized what you guys thought from the beginning, that ADTR is a great band. So stop debating, shut up, and enjoy!

man. don't get me wrong. i freakin love adtr's newest album "what separates me from you". it's actually my favorite album by far despite the fact that is has the least amount of songs with screaming vocals. but i still hope they come out with another album that has more heavier songs than the last. like i said, i love all the songs on the last album even though the majority of them weren't heavy. but it would still be nice if they made up for the heaviness on the next album if the make another.

On every one of their albums they've had both post-hardcore and songs that would be considered "pop" songs. I've been listening to them since they came out with For Those who Have Heart and the only reason they are being labeled as a pop band is because of their success and gained popularity. If you want to blame them for being "poppy" blame yourself for labeling them that way.
