Most likely, but it might be harder to get into it to actually do it.

I would really stay away from those tho. They are built like Crap and most are based on an ARM processor. like 500ghz. Get an Acer Aspire One... :D

@Wisar85 nop. if you got 3g u dont need wifi simply because u'll hav an unlimited internet access, if you got a unlimited data plan with your network provider of course.

LOL. I've never used WiFi before... I guess I forgot you can only use it in "hot spots." I ordered a Dell Mini 9 for $199 yesterday... I'm going to up the SSD capacity using your videos. Thanks and wish me luck. ;)

why not to buy a usb 3G dongle, and solder it inside the laptop and not touch their default wi-fi card, instead of swaping wi-fi for 3G card and soldering a wi-fi dongle?

I have the impression that the huawei 3g usb dongle that I got from my provider is a heap of shit.

More importantly, it takes a lot of time to start the internet, first connect the usb, have it load the driver, etc.

With internal 3g you can have it start on boot by default, and also you don't have external connectors hanging around.

ATM I use 3G way more than wifi, so I'm considering this. Advantage of the usb dongle is that you can connect an external antenna, though.

I meant to place the dongle inside the computer and connect it to the usb port on the motherboard of the laptop. This way it would be constantly connected and it would be inside the laptop so there would be no cables hanging on the outside.
