JDRF is a massive worldwide foundation, with lots of researches leading to a cure for Diabetes type 1; I think they are making a big effort supporting researches on diabetes. I have read the book, and really enjoyed it. I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about diabetes, or anyone who is interested in scientific research. It's unfortunate that too many people don't take the time to read books anymore, they should find out what they are missing.
