The rest of the band quickly jumped back onto the stage at the end of the song (which was likely rehearsed and choreographed) but Bret just stood there basking in glory and puffing out his chest after the lip syncing. Had he just followed the other members, he'd be fine.

@Nikki817 Aneurysms don't happen from surgical complications. You're thinking of an embolism, where an object, usually a blood clot, breaks free and travels through the blood vessels until it gets stuck somewhere like the lungs, brain, or fingers or toes
