  • my pen cooters do that.

  • That Was Cute!!

  • i never seen my red eared sliders do that :o

  • He looks like he wants to mate. I found out my one year turtle was male because it has the little body part.

  • mine did this at like 3 months old lol.

aww poor guy, he is trying so hard to impress her lol

  • Turtles dont just do that as a mating dance, its also a dominance dance.

The turtle trying to show its the top turtle of the tank. At 3 months that is what yours was doing. Both male and female turtles do this.

  • ohhhh I see, that makes alot more sense lol

  • my maps do that but i can never get it on film coz when they see me they stop hahahaha

  • size matters :)

  • How can you tell between male and female red eared slider turtles?

    thx

  • ha i have a red eard slider too but it would make it better if you put a " marks sayin come on baby we can work this out lol

  • that's what my baby turtle does!! everytime i dust the cage off he follows the feather duster (it's red, he's attracted to red things for some reason) around doing that fluttery thing... if i hold it in the same spot and twist it he vibrates his claws even faster.. it's weird O_o

  • Its called fluttering, a sign of aggression.

  • good song for this video :D my friends do that too!! and then they mate for real its just he can never put tail in tail...if thats how :DDD

  • hahaha Cute! lol

  • Hehe, that's cute. My baby turtles do that.

It's not a mating dance though. I mean, babies don't mate. And I've heard of same sex turtles doing that dance. So it's not mating.

And actually, my FEMALE turtle is the one I always see doing that weird dance to my male turtle. LOL.

  • LOL.. whatever it is.. its cute =D aha

  • Yes you are right about that! Wouldn't it be funny if people did that? HAHAHA.
