2 instances of virtual-dub open at once. The 2nd one recording the "desktop" etc. (I have 2 monitors by the way) ... while the 1st instance v-d is in capture mode (not capturing) with the webcam as the source. But vista 64 seems to have funny things going on with the sound etc. At the moment I'm using a windows xp virtual machine for adobe premier pro cs3 and a 32 bit version of virtual dub. I use lots of virtual machines (vmware). They make life easier. Hence the need for 8gb ram. :)
Thnx :-) I might try to force my old machine to do something similar someday. I love making all kinds of machinery work as hard as hard possible for some reason LOL
Sadist. Though I'm no better. I like turning things into other things. On my old computer set-up (I have a picture somewhere) I used a household central-heating pump and a house-hold radiator for the cooling system. It was quiet! I've took all that off now though: that computer is in the cupboard downstairs and is my dedicated IIS7 server. On an old electric bike (90's) I used radio-controlled-car motors to drive it using friction-drive (21mph!). :)
:) I'm not good at judging ... things ... I'm not sure if you're being funny/patronising or for some bizzarre reason I've impressed you with my confused clicking ... :) but either-way I appreciated the comment. I showed my partner Liz, and explained that this is the sort of adulation I like. :)))))
I'd like to know how you recorded this video? something in Virtualdub?
