@MrChappie1971 Tour seminars with Jacque Fresco are on most Saturdays in Venus, Florida and start at 1 PM sharp and usually go until around 5 or 6 PM or later. Yes, please set up an appointment; if you go to the Tour section of the website you can email from there so you are put on the schedule. Sometimes the tours fill to capacity so it is requested that one give advance notice to assure space.

i like the venus project and jacque fresco, but so far my only gripe with the venus project designs are the cities, i understand perfectly the functionality of circular city designs, but i don't know how i feel about EVERY city being a circular city.. I would definately like to see some variability if I'm going to travel around the world, that's party of the fun.

@dvzqz87 The circular city is only the basis prior to taking the local environment in to account. If the region had rivers, hills, mountains, forests, etc. surrounding it, They would all influence the design. Another thing to take into account is that this is the broad view of the city. If you take the same approach and look at many American cities they use a grid layout. Does that make all American cities identical?

In a Resource Based Economy, you can own whatever you want. If you want a set of golf clubs you go pick up a set and take it home. Then, if the hunters wanted to, they could transport their fresh kill to the slaughter house (which is near the animal farm), or they could still DIY it for their family as a special nostalgic treat. I see no reason why that could not be done. There is always a solution, just have to find it first.
