I thought all that stuff about wanting a female Doctor had been answered. You DO have a female Doctor! His daughter is a direct clone of him, in other words the Doctor but FEMALE! She's wandering around righting wrongs and having adventures. I'm glad that Martha is now being looked at in a more positive light. Mirror Doctor is a bit of an old Star Trek idea. In fact, the timelords are not actualy extinct, they exist in every multi-deminsional paralel universes, as well as in the past (before the timewars.) I wish the show would explore this, including the concept of an alternate universe with an evil doctor who thinks he's God (the creater of the universe.) After all, the Doctor just defeated Lucifer last season (the satan pit.)I dont think you can any deeper than these concepts.

I always suspected the original theme song was influenced by LSD as the early 80s theme sounds like an ectsasy trip at a rave. in fact, I was at a rave that that song was played. heavy stuff. anyway, I think that most of the topics on the new show would not be allowed on a major U.S. network (too offencive for right wingers). I think the BBC is very open minded.
That was fantastic....and sad! I've liked most of the companions but Rose always seemed to come out in the front. That video was so cool because it conveyed how Martha felt throughout the series...it's like she could never compete with Rose. I loved the "Ghost" concept to this video, not seen it done before so was original and cool! Well done!!!

Oh my god, that was totally the song from Casper! The music is unbelievable, it made me cry... The only thing is, I don't think the Doctor's defense for kissing Martha was the best way to end it. Should have been in the middle or something. Other than that, it was perfect.
Martha is gonna be an excellent assistant, like Rose was, but the Doctor still needs to grieve his loss. If he didn't then it wouldn't be real, and it would make their whole relationship a sham.
...I love Rose. She's my favourite compainion. The Doctor probably was in love with her. They had great chemistry, they worked. It's obvious that the Doctor is still going to be upset when he has lost her in the way that he did. He doesn't mean any direspect towards Martha, in fact I think he likes her, but he just doesn't want to, and is not ready to, have someone with him like he had Rose with him. But I feel he needs Martha, or like Donna said anyone, just to hold him back....
