He and Yoko had a case for 16 years. After Yoko got a lot of bad press, she gave him some money. He has used the money to buy back John's stuff Yoko sold and has had the items preserved and put together an exhibit at the Beatles story in Liverpool with proceeds going to charities.Side note: Some of the stuff Julian had to buy back were things HE gave John, like postcards/letters. It's sad and very greedy of Yoko to not just GIVE these things to Julian. She certainly didn't need the money.

Let me jump in here. 1st of all, Julian didn't get much from his dad's estate until he came to a settlement with Yoko in 1995. He got an undisclosed amount of cash (which from my understanding wasn't very much) & financial rights to some of his dad's songs, of which, he sold a portion of. The man left the music business HIMSELF because he was sick of all the BS. "Saltwater" from his 4th CD, was in the top 5 in other parts of the world. His 5th & 6th CD were/are being released thru his own label.
We must be talking about 2 different Julian's; this one has made 5 record albums (6th NOW in the works), worked on the soundtrack of Mr. Hollands Opus & Dave Clark Five's Time, did the voice for the animated David Copperfield, wrote for the musical version of the Lewis Carol poem The Hunting of the Snark & recently produced the Whaledreamers film ~ even if you don't like his voice(& not sure why you wouldn't, as it is eerily like Johns) he is very a talented writer, with a long-time girlfriend.

He is giving us another new album. Go to myspace-com/julianlennon if you're interested in learning more & read his blogs there. There are also early mixes of 3 new songs to listen to. The album is due out hopefully this Spring. He sent out his CD to distributors this month & is just waiting to hear back. Can't wait! :D

He's talking about a film he co-produced called "Whale Dreamers". And that is an awful thing to say about him. He's actually a very talented music artist in his own right. He's releasing a new album soon and, if you haven't heard it yet, you should check out his 1998 album, "Photograph Smile".

Yep, Yoko was responsible for John not seeing Julian. May Pang was responsible for getting John to call Julian and get involved in his life again.

John was being 'heavily' 'influenced' by his 'handlers'. Let's assume Yoko knows that Mark David Chapman wasn't the real killer as when u study the 'patsy' role in the 'covert assassinations' he fits the bill. Acts exactly like Sirhan, and Oswald. Timid and impressionable. Manchurians. The same people that murdered JFK, murdered John Lennon, and Julian, Yoko, and Sean are just letting them get away with it. Maybe they're being hushed? Regardless, John haunts me, and isn't gonna be silent!

I know everyything about John Lennon. He had more drugs in him than a riteaid. Drugs enhance your mind and make your former, smarter self go "bye bye". He left Cynthia for Yoko because Yoko kissed his drug induced selfish ass. John cheated on Yoko too so he must have been planning to divorce her before he was killed. I love the Beatles music but personally, they were twats as people. Pauls a lier.

You tell me. @hy do people want to tear Julian down all the time? It's people like you that have prevented him from making any kind of successful career. And it's the same for all kids of music artists. He's not alone. Many who have tried making a career for themselves in music & tried not to point out who their famous parents are do well UNTIL people find out who their parents are. Then this wall of prejudice goes up & all the sudden they are crap. Why is that?! That makes no sense to me.

Let me jump in here. 1st of all, Julian didn't get much from his dad's estate until he came to a settlement with Yoko in 1995. He got an undisclosed amount of cash (which from my understanding wasn't very much) & financial rights to some of his dad's songs, of which, he sold a portion of. The man left the music business HIMSELF because he was sick of all the BS. "Saltwater" from his 4th CD, was in the top 5 in other parts of the world. His 5th & 6th CD were/are being released thru his own label.

We must be talking about 2 different Julian's; this one has made 5 record albums (6th NOW in the works), worked on the soundtrack of Mr. Hollands Opus & Dave Clark Five's Time, did the voice for the animated David Copperfield, wrote for the musical version of the Lewis Carol poem The Hunting of the Snark & recently produced the Whaledreamers film ~ even if you don't like his voice(& not sure why you wouldn't, as it is eerily like Johns) he is very a talented writer, with a long-time girlfriend.

The album is due out hopefully this Spring. He sent out his CD to distributors this month & is just waiting to hear back. Can't wait! :D

Oh yeah...They get along and are actually quite close. :) They even have each other as top friends on their MySpace pages. And, yes, they both really do visit their own pages. They both blog, but Jules blogs more often. He's got an album coming out in addition to this film he co-produced, so he's been keeping us up-to-date on that & other things he's involved in. :)

tremendous respect for ur father's work, he was an very talented artist. im sorry things werent better for u and ur mother, in his regard. but the talent is with in u, u are of his gene's and ur the lucky one to have this talent and a personality way above his, unfortunately u havent have the struggles (sorry not to belittle ur own) but take those struggles in ur life an run with them. let them wash across u, dont force it and ur/his talent will flow. best wishes, cant wait to hit the no 1
