As I do pageants, you don't really go for the sashes and crowns, you go for the money. You put it in your bank, and then it pays for college and we dont have to spend a damn on college. Also if you win money, you can re- nvest in pageants.

It does really feel as if the women are trying to live through their daughters and their daughter's aren't being taught to respect fellow competitors. In gymnastics, you can constantly hear the cheers from other gymnasts. These parents need to lead by better example.

As for the children ad thier attitudes to money - welcome to the market economy, - I dont think kids can learn too early just how hard you have to work for money. They may not be working in MacD's or on a paper route they do have to sacrifice a lot for what they earn.
Jordan is the cutest of them all. And the one that looks most like a kid. And the only one who seems to have a personality that wasn't designed for her. I like it that she prefers being natural. Jordan is the cutest of them all. And the one that looks most like a kid. And the only one who seems to have a personality that wasn't designed for her. I like it that she prefers being natural. What is she doing at those pageants anyway? She should be swinging out of trees and playing and reading books and being with friends she's not competing against. I hope she gets out of this because she seems like she has a better chance than the other girls of growing into a normal person.

I think it's fine as long as their parents show them, that pageants shouldn't mean the world to them. You know? they can enjoy it and learn a lot from the whole experience, but it isn't good when they become obsessed with winning and their world crumbles if they don't

its like a competative sport, as long as it doesnt cause a detriment to the kids and t doesnt expose them to any risks, it can teach them a lot of stuff. As long as their lives are not just about pageants and beauty and they are well rounded t cn actully help them in their lives.

Congratulations Joanna! Though I do feel bad for Aleena. I think she should have stayed through the whole thing, or not entered at all, because I think she's just confused. Jordan and Kennedy are doing great though/
