I have several autoimmune diseases, including Sjogren's. It is very frustrating and affects your life in negative ways. I am on Remicade Infusion for my ankylosing spondylitis and R.A. This is interesting info. I was diagnosed w ss from a lip biopsy about seven yrs ago. My symptoms stay mild w a mostly vegetarian no flour diet and daily exercise. I do have occasional neurological symptoms I could never understand. Hard to explain but it is like becoming hyper aware of the left and right side of my body. I have to focus as they don't coordinate automatically when it happens. Very creepy.

I was diagnosed with Sjogren's last year, and didn't make an association between the tingling in the extremities and the Sjogren's, (I also have FMS, and all the back problems that goes with that.) Good to know the tingling is just sort of a normal Sjogren's thing. I've given up on going to doctors. At this point, I assume every weird thing is normal for the two conditions I have.

I recently got diagnozed with Sjogren's, but I've had symptoms for about 3 years now. Last summer something very strange happened to me as well, the Sjogrens somehow attacked my brain. I didn't get numb, but my awareness got all screwed up. I couldn't tell if I was awake or asleep, live or dead. I felt as if I was going insane, I was sure I would lose my mind. I was in this state for over a month ant it was like living in a nightmare. And ofc the doctors were no help at all...
