I collect, but only collect games. And I collect to play :) I'm happy with my stock standard black N64 and my collection of rare games, but it doesn't really bother me I don't have everything or that someone else has more N64 stuff than I do. I just actually use my fave system ever :)

This is why as a video game collector I largely avoid other collectors lol. I've always been about collecting games that I like and games that are fun and not necessarily the holy grails or ultra rare things. I've met a lot of people in collecting that are only in it for the hunt, only want to seek out the ultra rare stuff and want to gloat about it and put others down. I've got no time for that nonsense. So I understand your situation. Just be true to what you like and do what you enjoy.

PS1 practically beat up and Pee'd on the N64 just for fun, that's how badly the fifth generation went down....basically.

@TheCompletionist , I agree it is stupid for some people to regard themselves as having a higher status in the gaming community and think they are better than other gamers due to them having a bigger game library. For example , some of my friends have less games then I do but that doesn't make me feel better than them. My friends love games just as much as I do and so does the next person. I respect each gamer in the community no matter what their game count is. Quality always beats quantity.

I know people that suck the fun out of stuff like that. I'm sorry someone's bad attitude had to spoil your love of collecting, though your collection was very complete so it's not like you didn't stop while you were ahead. Its been fun seeing your collection videos, you're one of a bunch of different sources that got me into collecting video game stuff. I recently have been collecting by game series; completed ones I have are NA metroid, Zelda, and starfox. Im only missing 1 fzero game now.

collecting is never about being better than the next gamer, I'm really sorry you got lured into that trap but regardless if you own 10 games or 1000 games it doesn't make a person a bigger gamer than anybody else. We collect the things we love and we want to play because it makes us happy, people who collect for popularity or status recognition will never be satisfied.

Hope you make some videos about sumthing and just watching you play and commenting the game is nice. That zelda game where you actually sat in there was way better than some regular lp's where the people don't ever show themselves.
