  • Wish this was called something else, i was looking for the original.

  • that was SHIT!

  • really need to belt out some notes but amazing for a first run.x

  • I wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to manage expectations by including 'karaoke' in the title. You'd probably eliminate all your down votes if you did this.

  • Oh god damnit i was listening to this like "man why is this version of the song so weak 3:"

Write it's a cover in the title or something i was so confused geeee

  • I have to agree with a few others, you're a good singer but this song doesn't fit you, which is why you're having issues in it. It's nothing that you're doing wrong, but you have a very gentle voice and this song requires some serious belting. You need to be able to unleash everything you have inside you to do this song justice. A better song choice can really show off your ability :) Good luck, keep singing!

  • I thought this was from the CD until I read the description... This is amazing

  • I had to read the comments to find out it wasn't Idina singing, great job. I'm ashamed that I couldn't tell it wasn't Idina though... but yeah, it's a great cover :)

  • You could've mentioned in the title that it was you D=

  • fiyeroooooooooo!

  • I got through half of the song before I realized it wasn't Idina. WOW. I hate any and all covers, but I actually liked this one!

  • brilliant, good job

  • You've got a pretty voice, but I don't think this song agreed with you. It's a really big song, and it makes your voice is very quiet. You've got good pitch, but your high notes are really soft. It's a very emotional song. Belt it out.

  • I'm sorry, but this song is too high for your voice. I'm sure your voice would be lovely with a song in your range, but this sounds way too strained. Your voice is also too immature for this song. This is an angry woman, jaded in her views, and ostracized by society. There needs to be more depth then your voice can give. Keep looking - your perfect song is out there.

  • You were wonderful! but I agree with @krissy87leigh don't be afraid to belt it out!

  • try working on ur diaphramatic breathing to hold long notes and the low and high notes

  • I think you sound great except that it sounds like your trying to be quiet while singing it or something you gotta belt girl! :)

  • i love wicked its a great musical ever!!!!!!

  • At the beginning you really sounded like her! I thought it was Indina! You are really good! One of my fav songs is For Good and Defying Gravity!

  • When I sing this when have to sing a loud note or high note (which I can already do high note wise) I have to pull back. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to sing louder in great detail that way I can do this the RIGHT way?

  • @DarkAmbellina you have to sing from your diaphram so you get a lot more air do you think you're just singing from your throat? because that might be why you have to pull back

    I hope that helps :)

  • your confidence gets stronger the longer you sing. as a result, you sound like your holding back until nearer the end

  • ure v. good but it needs to be more passionate

  • ....that. was. AWESOME! You're great!!!

  • omg ur amazing

  • Wow, you're pretty talented. The one thing I have to add to this is that you're singing from your throat, which has already been said. If you relax, sit up straight, and sing from your pit, you'll be able to sing like Idina. Although it takes a lot more than that, that's what you need to start with. But overall, I'm impressed. Keep working. :)

  • The last bit of the song was a little pitchy and strained, but I think you just got tired. Also at the beginning with whole chanting bit, you sped up a bit. It didn't seem like you knew where the tempo was. But other than that, you were pretty much perfect. You're amazing. Keep up the good work.

  • Good job

  • I think it was really good you have an amazing voice. I agree with the others that you may want to work on the higher notes. Also, I want to feel more emotion! There's several parts where some anger could have come out more. It would be a good idea to practice it and record it again in the near future. I'd love to hear it!

  • That was really good! The only thing that was a little rough sounding were the high notes, but you have a lot of potential. I'm sure with more practice you can get those high notes down. You sound a little young. I know i could'nt hit those notes until i turned 16 so keep singing! =)

  • This is actually really good, the higher notes are just a little rough with practice your voice will be even better :)

  • nice try ^^

  • Wow tht was u u did awsome good job

  • Hahaha I liked your "Fiyerooooo!" at the beginning.

  • Try a few voice lessons and get those high notes down ;) I know for sure that I can't hold that last note as long as Idina can XP

  • You try too hard. Just relax and try again :)

You have a nice voice :)

  • I like it, though in some places it sounds kind of akward. I would say just practice matching tones with the orginal (Idina Menzel). Just play it over and over and sing along and it helps you get the whole song really good!

  • Thanks. :)

  • Yeah, you're right there are a bit of pitch problems but this is like REALLY good! Oh, but in the beginning.. The "Fiyero" part was a little I don't know how to explain it but just work on it. Besides those small issues, this really was good =]

  • :) Thanks.

  • relax your voice a little more. try to open you're throat more (especially in the end) and you'll hit those notes like a professional. dont hit the notes too hard either. work on making it flow a little more. but all in all...not bad girl!

  • Thank you for the constructive criticism. :)

  • i think that when you say: no good deed goes unpunished that my new creed, i think you hit it too hard. if you listen to idna menzel, it's pretty soft and relaxing!

  • I love Idina. :P <3

  • All except for the first was great! The firdt note just sounded like you were holding back from belting. No holding back, you've got a pretty voice. =D

  • Thank you. I'm still working on belting without sounding too raw. I used to be told that I didn't sound pretty enough.. and then that I didn't have a nice transition into my belt... and now I am being told that I sound too pretty. gah. Singing is complicated. :P lol

  • Lol, you're welcome. And yes, it is super complicated, especially when you're singing stuff like this.

  • this is you! u sound AWESOME! this is really great!

  • Thank you. :D

  • good job! i thought this was the real thing! you did amazing! job well done!

  • You're sweet. :)

  • i just got done seeing the play at the Detroit opera house on Dec 16. i had to write a paper and i did a lot on the songs thank you for being clear cuz other BS recordings did not cut it

  • Aww. Thanks. Glad to help. :)

  • This is great... except the very first note

  • purelyy ? of course ur the the expert :L

    ouuch . first note

  • Great tone

    amazing pitch

the worst problem is that you need to use more chest voice on the high notes,

the low notes are perfect, but it would that 'wow' effect if you would belt.

  • Yep. Thank you. :)

  • @purelywicked24 actually you use Head voice bc your way past the break point.

  • woah, i only realised after about 30 seconds that this wasn't the original thing! you're really good =]

  • Thank you.

  • You Sang This?

  • very very good you got talent so i give that a 4,8 out of 5 the only bad parts were that u didnt let it out when it need it but other then that it was a 5 so good luck -tjb

  • thank you :)

  • crap you're good!!! (=

  • :) Thanks

  • its good. but, dont be afraid to really belt it out.

  • YOu are really good.

  • i love the way you say wicked lol

  • hehe... *smirk*

  • that amzing but ya you need to belt it but i thort that was the sound track!!!wow

  • Yep. That's really me. :) Thank you for the support.

  • is that relly you !!!!!

  • WOW your amazing

i also agree with the others though.

you're almost there but it sounds like you're holding back a little.

    but you're AMAZING :D

  • Thankyou.

  • great voice but ur trying 2 sound pretty as opossed 2 raw

  • guauuuu this is a hottttt girl with a hot voice say'n ohh do me handsome!!drop dead gorgeos

  • You're a good singer, but you need to BELT it. Use your loudest notes, try and make the house shake. It's difficult and it takes practice, but I know you can do it. When you say "FIERO", I want to hear you shout. The most important thing is that you don't be afraid.

But really, I can hear it-- Your voice CAN be incredible. You're just not letting it.

  • Thank you for the constructive criticism. I truly appreciate it. :)

  • Very nice :) Much luck with music theater.

  • u are soooooo good!!!!! where did u learn to get ur sangggg onnnn

  • I actually am studying music and theatre at The Masters College in CA. :D
