  • I wonder how Mrs. Degroot and Mr. Bookman from Seinfeld would get along?

  • Nice legs, Kelly!

  • "Librarian hitman" LMFAO!!!!!!!!

  • best show ever

  • I'll never play football like I thought I would. I'll never know the touch of a beautiful woman. And I'll never again know the joy of driving without a bag on my head. But I'm not a loser. 'Cause despite it all, me and every other guy who will never be what he wanted to be, are still out there being what we don't wanna be, forty hours a week for life. And the fact that I haven't put a gun in my mouth, you pudding of a woman... makes me a winner!

  • So I get up, have my watered down Tang and still-frozen pop tart, get in my car with no upholstery, no gas and six

more payments, to fight traffic just for the privilege of putting cheap shoes on the cloven hooves of people like you

  • So you think I'm a loser? Just because I have a stinkin' job that I hate? A family that doesn't respect me? A whole city that curses the day I was born? Well, that may mean "loser" to you, but let me tell you something. Every morning when I wake up I know it's not going to be any better until I go back to sleep again.

  • Al should have done the "HEISMAN" after his WINNER's speech. He really is a Hero to all us guys who wanted so much more out of life.

  • exactly. I use some of his sayings

  • This episode defined Al Bundy, the comedy of tragedy, and the thin line between hope and desperation. Your a winner if your still standing.

  • AMEN to Al's speech.

  • That speech at the end is why Al Bundy has got to be my favorite fictional character.

  • @Uppgreyedd He's my favorite character too.

  • This episode had inspire me to stand up to my principal who told me that I would never amount to nothing. I paraphrase some of Al speech and after I was done, she had nothing to say...........not even comeback.

  • wow, what did you say?

  • @hint0122 Basically the fact that even though I had got held back one year and I was short of about 12 credits to graduate, she said I would be a bum. Well, I wound up making that comeback a year later and graduating. I also learn that most of the people in my graduating class, which were jocks, didn't even go to college. They had kids out of wedlock and are basically working shit jobs, while I have a degree in automotive. She sure was a pudding of a woman.

  • I love that Planet Kryptonite joke lol

  • "You pudding of a woman!" LOL!

  • librarian hitman!

  • oh my god, she looks like jay leno

  • @pedinoway2 lmfao

  • they need to put al bundy on the $100 dollar bill

  • This is why the sitcoms of today can't stand up. Married... with Children did all it could to put it's characters down, but every one got their moment to shine giving greater sympathy for when they fail. Modern sitcoms, for the sake of "comedy" take away any success their characters could ever have, making every attempt completely pointless.

  • "Do you know why I stayed her?" "You learned to eat books?" Haha.

  • "Could it be that the nails that hold your chair together are from the planet Krypton?'' What a great line!

  • 4:06 it's nicholas martin from McGee & me

  • " Don't Bundy that book"...lmao

  • This episode is an all-time classic, and one of my favorites

Lu Leonard is excellent as Miss Degroot, Such a funny actress.

  • What makes this show so awesome is that when push comes to shove: al was an arsehole.

  • I've leaned something from watching this show:

You need to stab the first redhead girl that comes to you

  • haha different shirt such an epic fail...

  • He´s wearing a different shirt on the security cam footage

  • Al Bundy great American hero!

  • al bundy is a true hero to all men.

  • "And the fact that I haven't put a gun in my mouth, you pudding of a woman, makes me a WINNER!"

  • Liberian Hitman.....EPIC

  • "Hey man, don't "Bundy" that book!" I've been saying this every now and then ever since...ahahaha!

  • yea go al tell her how it realy is

  • @thunderbird948 Yeah, the librarian has the nerve to call AL a loser, even though she kept the same job at the library all those years just so she could bust Al for a book. That makes her a bigger loser than Al.

  • You learned to eat books?

  • One of Al's greatest moments.

  • could it be that the nails that hold your chair together are from the planet cypton heheeee

  • RIP Lu Leonard.

She was such a funny actress!

  • "Don't Bundy that book"

    XD

  • Yes I will.(picks up sugar jar)

  • me siento identificada del minuto 6.43 al 7.11 ... jajajaja xD! i'm a winner!!

  • i wonder what he stole at the end

  • @fumala420 when he was younger he promised he'd put the jar of sugar in her gas tank :] so he kept his promise and stole it xD

  • lol

"Could it be that the nails that hold your chair together are from the planet Krypton."

I pissed myself laughing when i first heard that.

  • the day of the big cake heist :))) you were rounded up for questioning :))

  • When Al said in video about his life

    is a my motto

(sry for bad english , fan from Czech republic)

  • this speech is a classic right up there with 'i havea dream' brings tears t my eyes ha brilliant

  • Al Bundy=God.

  • There are five dislikes for this video. That's one dislike for every roll under that librarian's waste line.

  • That Librarian is a grade A, prime example of a Hater.

The fact that the high point of her life is seeing Al Bundy end up as..well..AL BUNDY is kind of sad.

  • @Dojack She probably died of diabetes the next day.

  • I actually feel proud of him when he gives his speech.

  • I'M A WINNER

  • al bundy classic dad

  • hey, mam, dont bundy that book! LMAO

  • Al Bundy a true working class hero.

  • That speech makes Al a hero to every working class man in the world.

  • @Tommyc140 i couldn't have said it anybetter. al hit it the nail right on the head.

  • epic speech

  • i love married with children i like the saying bake a pie eat a pie i should have said that to my teacher when she yelled at me al bundy always has good wording in his mouth. and i love when kelly is playing the part when shes dumb she has the best look on her face ever

  • Man, is it just me or is Al's speech near the end probably the most true shit ever spoken? :/

  • al the king :D

  • got to love Kelly's slutty hair do.

  • greatest speech ever!!!!

  • "librarian hitman" i lold....and u can hear peg laughing too after that.

"u learned to eat books" i can't describe how much i lold XD

but i don't get it. why did he steal her sugar??

  • @xtazy115: You gotta watch the first part where he's a child...he threatens to if he ever sees her again.

  • he said one day he would.

  • al's philosophy on winners and losers absolutely nails it! what a genious!

  • Very, very good, the best sitcom of all time, in my opinion!

    Greets from Berlin

  • the only fat lady who PWNED al bundy....

  • @statusmvp01

Actually, he ended up "owning" her.

  • @fransack not really...Al got her with the sugar....but u need to remember that this was only season 3....Al remained a loser up to season 11....jus like she predicted....

  • Oh God, Oh God, make it stop it hurts to laugh. AL BUNDY Greatest OF ALL TIME!

  • Very good speech by Al Bundy.

  • the greatest speech of all time!

  • Epic speech at the end. Very dark too, as was often the case with the earlier episodes. Not many sitcoms would have had a line about putting a gun in one's mouth.

  • One thing I REALLY love about Married With Children is that the characters get back at everyone that screwed with them. The characters in all the other shows get talked out of their plans to get well-deserved revenge, but in this show, they follow through.

  • 5:59-7:07 Well put, Bundy.

  • If there's anything I've learned from watching Married With Children, it's this: Don't screw with Al Bundy.

  • The children are terrified and treat each book like fine china.

Mr Bundy! You have become the Freddy Krueger of the library system

  • Hey man dont Bundy that book!

  • "Could it be that the nails that hold your chair together are from the planet Krypton."

  • First the Universe was created then Earth and Then AL BUNDY. Al Bundy for President

  • The speech in the end is just priceless.

  • On this video, I can honestly say that I now officially have all 11 season of MwC on DVD.

  • a true piece of human garbage lol

  • 7:37 to end of video is reference to something Young Al said earlier in the episode:

"Man I swear, one day I'm gonna take that whole bowl of sugar and pour it in her gas tank"

  • Absolutely a "Married" classic.

    The best of the best.

The actress that played the librarian character should

have received an emmy for that performance.

  • This was the 3rd season I think. I don't remember...I tend to mark episodes by every1's hair: Kelly's teased 80's do. Peg's big *** beehive. Bud's hair (the tail in the back). LOL But I know that it was mixed in w/a bunch of really good episodes. It was during this season that MWC REALLY started getting funny, imo.

  • Maybe if she didn't hate Al so much, he would have returned the books on time.

  • Hey man, don't bundy that book!

    LAMO

  • that old bag, a old bitch better never speak to me like that, she will be on her ass

  • you learned to eat books

  • what is season and epizode??

  • I don't know which season, but it's called "He Thought He Could"

  • Season 3, Episode 1

  • This episode is a Bundy all time classic!

    "The Devil's spawn," ha-ha.

  • Epic speech

  • I love Al, he's always been my hero!

  • LOL! I just returned an overdue book in San Francisco last Wednesday, and it was all I could do to run in, return the book, and beat it out of the library before I was arrested.

  • I believe that was the day of the big cake heist.

  • When he says his speech, he was damn dead on right.

  • So was she -- about following through even once. Damn.

  • @Originalsin4ever It really was.

  • Miss DeGroot-"Well, Mr. Bundy, what do you do for a living, presuming you're not still in high school?"

    Al-"Librarian hitman."

Miss DeGroot-"I was eligible for retirement 3 years ago. Do you know why I stayed?"

    Al-"You learned to eat books?"

  • al ain't garbage his pure gold.

  • I cant believe he almost broke the lady/man's hip! Hahahahahaha

  • Could it be, that the nails that keep your chair togehter, are from the planet Kypton??

  • That lady's character disgusts me, she had nothing in her life but hatred.Wack

  • "And the fact that I haven't put a gun in my mouth, you pudding of a woman, makes me a winner!"

  • "as a matter of fact I'm going to start keeping promises right now".

  • "Make a promise, keep a promise."

"Yeah, yeah - bake a pie, eat a pie."

  • They will never have a character like Al Bundy in prime time again. All the male dads have the perfect job with the perfect family. Al Bundy didn't have those things but we all still loved him and thought he was the man

  • @enjoyitbro That was actually the scenario when MWC was first aired...all the dad's and families were picture perfect (family ties, full house, the huxtables etc..) and then FOX rolled out the Bundys...and the rest as they say is history!

  • @enjoyitbro Too true - All the current sitcom families have the following issues:

    1) Minuscule problems that are overdramatized

    2) Their livelihood isn't in financial jeopardy due to exploited parental figures

    3) No existing general dysfunction that affects the entire family (unless their animated)

  • i love the ronald regan picture in the back ground

  • LMAO "You learned to eat books?" XD

  • Freddy Krueger of the library system!

    Heh He Heh

  • Fantastic, everytime i hear this speech i cheer and feel like crying, classic, its right up there with 'i have a dream' and 'friends romans and countrymen'

    al bundy rocks.

  • Al-"Could it be that the nails that hold your chair together come from the planet Krypton?"

    Al-"You weren't here."

    Miss DeGroot-"I'm always here."

Al-"Not that day. I believe that was the day of the Big Cake Heist. You were rounded up for questioning."

Al-"Miss DeGroot, does the word, 'soo-e' mean anything to you?"

  • If you think yo'life is shitty all fucked tup, just think of Al Bundy, you'll feel alot better. His life is shitty, but he stayed in there. He eats just about as much as I did when I was kid, always went to bed hungry, but this show made me feel better when I use to watch it in elementry.Miss this show.

  • And yet, "Al Bundy" will always be around as long as there is television, and will be more loved, remembered, identified with, and revered than most of us.

  • I know that dumbass,I know it's a show. Should watch vh1 the 80's.They talk about Al Bundy, how it made them feel better about thier lives.

  • I stole books from the libary.

  • You shouldn't Bundy books.

  • The speech rocks !!!

  • The fact that I havent put a gun my mouth (you pudding of a woman) makes me a winner!! Lord, how true!

  • I wonder if that boy playing young Al is Ed's

son. He looks enough like him to be his son.

  • haha, my record is 11years of overdue:]

  • mines 3, im trying to get 11 as well lol

  • 21 years here, hahaha...

  • Librarian Hitman ... priceless

  • I've not seen this one. What did he pick up from the table at the end?

  • A jar of sugar that Al had promised to out in her gas tank. You have to watch the first part.

  • Thanks, Jarhead. I also failed to notice him look straight at it at the beginning of the clip.

  • greatest speech ever...AL IS LEGEND!!!!!!!

  • "Hey man! Dont Bundy that book!" lol

  • Greatest Braveheart Speech, Ever!

  • I would say, this is probably the best revenge i have ever seen.Subtle, yet incredibly effective.

  • i love the speech at the end it was the best part of this eppsode

  • the day of the big cake heist. you were rounded in for questioning. lol

  • I love the speech Al gives DeGroot at the end. Absolutely classic!

  • Kelley is so hot!

  • Gosh, this one was one of the funniest episodes ever....Al always makes our day... LOL.

Al: Could it be that the nails that hold your chair together are from the planet Kryton!? LOL...

  • he's at his funniest when he bribes fat ladies with food

  • no the day of the big cake heist is funnier

  • one of the best episodes.

  • what is the name of this episode?

    pls tell me

  • He Thought He Could

  • "He Thought He Could"

  • You're a horrible little boy!

  • Hahaha! I miss Al Bundy!

  • I sure can relate to what Al's saying, that's how my life is, even though I don't work in a shoe store, I'm not married, or have no kids, my life still sucks.

  • mine too...u know...love sux big time

  • I've got the same problem. Whenever I feel life sucks, I think to myself "What would Al Bundy do?" He knows the answer to these problems.

  • Hey man don't BUNDY that book!!!

  • That has to be the best speech on life ever....your a winner cuz you havnt killed yourself yet lmao

  • Well, I think the librarian is a bigger loser in that she said all those years just waiting for Al to fail. She doesn't have a life outside of waiting to be a pain in Al's butt.

  • That's a good point. Al should have thrown that back in her face to build on an already awesome speech.

  • what a good point.

  • al bundy's speeches are classic!!!

  • the final speech of Bundy, is the main reason why all love this guy. We are all Bundies. Let us keep on "bundy"ing the peace of system gear minded people!..
