Very professional an entertaining. this is the sort of fishing that should be on TV. Unlike some of the manic and inaccessible stuff that is! More please.
what a great film...funny, informative and a pleasure to watch, picked up some great tips, but the best thing is one week to go and Salcombe for three...woop woop
Great vid, No need to land when shooting for eel, stay in the boat so much easier, shoot straight accross and drag it closed, knockes them out of the sand. can see you know your stuff great to see people doing what i have done since a child. professional filming and fishing. get on.
hahahaha best fishing vid iv seen in a long time. yous are hilarious. what do you think of the alaska 500's myself and the dad are looking to get our 1st boat in the next year for fishing Donegal in Ireland but seas are nice and unpredictable. Iv heard they are a good boat if it gets a bit rough on you??? By the way you made me very jealous hauling in all those sand eels lol. Beats chasing them with a knife when the tide goes out :D
many thanks.... was professionally produced and offered to discovery real time but to no avail at present.... thanks for watching and check out my other stuff on here..... cheers, ben
I'll be doing that next month. If anyone fancies joining me on my lirrul boat or for an early mornign/ late evening fish. More than welcome, especially ben and phez
Ben here.... would enjoy trying for some of the guilt head bream down in salcombe.... I have no boat at present and would love the opportunity to try... get in touch.... ben
Many thanks dave, very kind words..... Good luck off Weymouth, had some great pollock off Dartmouth in Jan, good Ling and lots of cod in channel at mo.... Can definatley recommend Gemini off Kingswear if you are down this way...
@Athom29 I know how you feel ! My mate calls it 'going to feed the fish'. I have seen them caught off Shaldon beach in the Teign using only a light rod, no weights and a live sandeel (Luggsy on the Teignmouth car park side sells them) at low tide. Saw this guy bag three takers in 40 minutes.
A beautifully produced sea fishing video with 2 great characters in a wonderful location. I've sailed and fished here in my earlier years and visited again last year. Nothing has changed once out on the water. This video says it all about a perfect day's sea fishing and much better than the current fishing films on TV. Ben n Phez should take this up professionally, A joy to watch without swearing or over the top comments. Congratulations to all concerned. Now on My Favorite's list.
Lovely video, really well done!! I loved the banter between you and Phes - you guys should be on TV with your own fishing show!!
Nice images of Salcombe estuary - brings back some great memories (I used to live in Frogmore, further up the estuary. In summer, a school buddy and I used to sail up to Salcombe in his dad's Mirror dinghy on the morning tide, spend the day on the beach, swimming and just messing around then sail back home in the evening with the incoming tide... great days!!)
u so lucky as a woman i dont have a clue but i can catch mackeral but not bass i got spinners ?but i go to berry head in the quarry do u think i can get luck there?
