  • how do you say in english that string youre using to hold the speakers that has screws on both ends?

  • how long battery play

  • Nice vid

What kind of paint did you use?

  • sounds like Van Halen

  • weight?

  • Dude your set!!

  • How did you made the amp?

  • Good stuff ! Coulda went without hearing akon tho.

  • Bery good!!!!!!!!!

  • where did u get the amp???

  • @tallandshortshow

    On ebay

  • @tariboeuf how mutch were they

  • @tallandshortshow

The kit amplifier is Around 10$

  • Jean Michel Jarre FTW!

  • omg speak or just use some nonporn music

  • so good sr . i like the idea i.m working in pal007 amp in this moment

i saw the tdk boom box and found this one yours so cool tnks for post a good video about diy boom box sr....

  • It's a very well finished speaker... congratulations!

however I recommend you to separate the two chambers since it is a STEREO system and sometimes one speaker "fights" against the other, cause the waves of the two are not completely equal. Separating boxes Improves Bass! according to my experience; I also made some of this projects... ;)

  • @Motherfuckersito

    Ok, thanks !!!

  • sweet

  • Why battery's? why not just hook it right up to the power supply brick?

  • beautifully done!

  • Nice work! What kind of amplifier is it? Is it discrete or it uses ICs?

  • @cumesoftware

It's not a discrete amplifier, you can find everywhere

  • @tariboeuf What I mean by "discrete", is that if it uses discrete transistors? Or does it use integrated circuits? Thanks in advance.

  • @cumesoftware

Okay, the TA8210 is a integrated circuits, you can search the datasheet with google

  • @tariboeuf Thanks! The IC is quite interesting, as it has its preamp stage.

  • @tariboeuf Cool work! long been doing? interested in how and what dyed-in speaker that it can not be scratched by writing more personally??

Or is it a secret development?

  • @daemo069

    Sorry, i speak little english.

I don't really understand your question

  • @tariboeuf I would like to know what and how you painted the speaker that does not scratch the surface

  • @daemo069

Ok, it is not me who painted, it is the line-x society of French Polynesia.

  • eyh men estubo heavy eso , me gustaria saber el nombre de la pintura , gracias !!

  • @merlinnolasco

    Line-x

  • just gotta love how hes trying to brake his own box:D

  • i will make this with two 5.25 speakers 100w and with a car amp 500w but mine will be on power not on battery :)

  • GTA 4 SONG!

  • @Ricardo1e93

i don't calculate this speaker box, it for simplicity

  • good job

  • Could have you installed a car radio and the battery and speaker and would it have been portable. And would you just have to charge the battery with a trickle charger???

  • that weak

  • my friend did a amplifier out of megafone.Pretty good idea

  • wow CUanto te ha costado todo eso:: Spain

  • I REALLY LIKED the wrench scratch test - ahahahahahaha!!! Very nice work - great job!!!!

    TheAngel . com

  • bem legal a divisoria

  • КРУТО

  • So I'm making these own portable speakers of a couple of old computer speakers I had laying around.

I have cut off the electricity transformer and planning to connect it to a battery/battery pack instead.

On the transformer in my speaker it says (among other things): "OUTPUT-AC 10.7V/0.8A".

Now to my question. Is the output energy actually 10.7V? What should I use for this? If I use 12V battery pack, does it only use the amount it needs or does it somehow get to much electricity and overheat?

  • @bulipap

VDC = 1.4 x VAC = 15V, you can use 12V battery, connect the battery on the big capacitor 25V 1000uF or more(transformer - diode rectifier - big capacitor, and recpect the polarity).

  • Akon = Gay

  • nice music

  • it would have been waaaay better if you'd have taken a car stereo as amp an as player, cause it hase 4x50 Watts (also can bridge em and get 2x100Watts) with usb and line in from jvc for like 70€. but the power of the amp isn't the problem, its that it is meant to be uses portable, so directly with you mp3 player, and the headphone exit of the mp3 player doesnt supply as much power as the av-exit of a dvd player for example ;)

so next time with a carstereo ;)

  • what parts did you use to make the amp for this please reply :)

  • @MrBurnTec

Search on google the PDF datasheet of the Toshiba TA8210AH

  • how did you painted it?

  • @djtonyxxx5

    I don't paint, it's a professionnal of line-x

  • @tariboeuf where can i get this line-x stuff?

  • what have you used?most of the time i use a tda2005. but now i've discovered the tda1516q. only a couple of capacitor and you have a fully great 20wrms working amp. have a look.

  • @djtonyxxx5

The power of TDA1516Q is24W at mono mode, 4 ohms and 14.4V (stereo only 2x12w at 2 ohms) and it's really in RMS Power ??? If you want more power at 12V and mono mode, buy the TDA1562Q (50-60wrms at 4 ohms)

  • @tariboeuf yes. search on google. "TDA1516 Datasheet pdf - 24 W BTL or 2 x 12 watt stereo car radio ..."

obiuvsly you have to use it in bridged mode. but in bridged mode ,almost, no external component are needed.

you cannot reach more than 36w rms from 12v and 4ohm.

remember that W(rms) = v^2(volt at the speacker.more or less power supply) / R (specker impedence)

    OR

    W= I^2 * R

    so W=12^2 / 4 =36 w.

otherwise you need to stepup power.

  • @djtonyxxx5

    The TDA1562Q is a class-H amplifier : "The TDA1562Q contains a mono class-H BTL output power amplifier.

At low output power, up to 18 W, the device operates as a normal BTL amplifier. When a larger output voltage swing is required, the internal supply voltage is lifted by means of the external electrolytic capacitors. Due to this momentarily higher supply voltage the obtainable output power is 70 W"

  • @tariboeuf ..for example you can use 2 battery in serie instead of parallel so jump to 24v. and the power (rms) quadruplicate. you are near to 150W(rms)

for the tda1516, yes i've put a 1khz test tone, looked for no clipping with the oscilloscope and mesured the amp going in. they are 2.10A . so really near 24 w(rms).

  • Looks like factory made that's AWESOME

  • i just made one of these things with 2x 180w speakers, 2x 80w speakers and a base tube

    with a 6-12v 500w amp

  • That is NICE!!! Glad to see I'm not the only one doing something like this. MP3 has brought this setup a long way--I built mine bigger but it had a full deck in it with 2 8's and was perfect for taking to the lake or camping. However yours is extremely portable NICE job very NICE

  • lol wrench attack!

  • oxygene VI hahaha

  • Like car audio? Watch my videos.

  • i love the truck bed liner i am going to do it to my box!!!

  • such a low sound

    Then what to do

  • @ronaldoskoza

    write anything

  • dam thats sick i tryd to make something like that but i mest up

  • how long do the batteries last? how much did it cost to make it all?

  • @7yearoldRCF

8 hours or more in full volume and around 300$ (very much in Tahiti)

  • @tariboeuf buy a battery charger

  • thats pretty osem although you should of bought the fusion reactors there better

there 6 by 9 275 watts 4 ohms and really loud

  • @MultiMinecraft123

With two 6x9 speaker, the box is too big.

If you want really loud, look the "60wrms home made speaker box"

  • lol gta music

  • name of the song please

  • @timiestyle

    Jean-Michel Jarre "Oxygene"

  • Waarom heb je 2 van die gaten erin gemaakt? Ik zorg er juist voor dat mijn kratradio helemaal dicht is, dat is tog beter?

Why you have 2 holes in your kistradio, that's not better right????

    grt

    grts

  • how much would you sell it for

  • @ZeroError101

    Sorry, not for sale

  • hey can u send me the plans for it? cause i really want to make one

  • seems to sound really great, good little kick

  • Thats nice man, I like the lin-X covering, great idea.

  • What do you use this for??

  • Buen proyecto¡¡¡¡

Puedes pasar el PCB al correo c3445rg@copitima.com

    saludos

  • i like this video u should do one showing how u wired this together an all that good stuff this has gave me the idea of useing some all weather boat speakers and building a small box for my 4 wheeler so i dont have to use headphones out riding

  • Is it just me or is that low volume as shit?

  • hello,

Do you have spray or roll the paint?

and have you bought the paint from e-bay

    RObbert

  • @Robbert24ify

    It's a spray with a compressor, i don't paint, it's a professionnal (sorry for my bad english)

  • lol nice arcade music whats the name ?

  • @jayholley123

    Jean-Michel Jarre "Oxygene"

  • @tariboeuf wasnt that song on gta 4???

  • @annttzzpa

    Sorry i don't understand (gta 4 ???)

  • @tariboeuf he meant Grand Treft Auto 4, playstation/pc Game.

  • @annttzzpa it plays on the radio station "The Journey"

  • what kinda piant is that?

  • @MrDjblueboy

    Line-X paint for bedliner truck

  • where did you get the paint? very cool speaker box looks like a pro did it well you probably are lol.

  • thats nice

  • Which kind of wood do you recommend?

  • @GraffitiRocks123 3/4" MDF

  • Must be heavy thing to carry!

  • Where did you get the battery charger?

  • @madssi

On ebay, search with lead acid 12v charger

  • Comment removed

  • what did you put on surface..is that some kind of spray or fabric?

    nice DIY tho..

  • @PouKileKruha

    It's a line-x, paint for bedliner truck

  • @tariboeuf

    mais tes un francais

  • @axelelectronic

    Ou plutôt un polynésien

  • May I ask where did you get the RCA input things at 1:02?

  • @ImBuildingACanon

    On E.B.A.Y

  • bad sound. more bass, greatjob :)

  • Now thats a badass speaker. Great job dude. Did you test it running in full volume? How long does it take for the battery until it runs out? And how long is the charging time?

  • @rafkristoff

8 hours or more in full volume, charging time is around 10-12 hours

  • Thats realy dangerous lol 2x20 Watts

  • great job man ,,, i want to make somth like this.

  • good job dude

  • thats a beast:)

  • i wanted to do that but i don't have those ups battereis or motorbikes .

    But good thinking dude:)

  • nice build :D

finally i come across someone who know wordworking

  • Nice job dude

    i like the amp inside!

  • very good !

  • Thats great. Theres a shop by my house that sells a 22w per channel do it yourself amp kit that uses 12v im itching to build one of these

  • is great!!

  • about how much did this project cost? think you can make em and sell them with bigger speakers, and a more powerful amplifier?

  • what is that for a software on 0:47??

    nice work

  • TCI 3.5, it's a french software

  • give it the software in german to?????

  • Sorry, french only

  • @tariboeuf

    ok

    nice work :)

  • How did the rounded edges on the box?

  • haha.. i have a 480 watt amp qith a 550 sub.. A old PC power supply works Great! :D.. I got sick of replacing battery's. LMAO... Literaly! haha

  • grand thef auto song

  • thats heaps cool

  • nice that cool

  • man if you want it to look even cooler add an analog voltage meter to know when the bateries are gone, and ampmeter just 4 it to look cool when it spikes up&down :D

  • did you just seal tht with wood putty?

  • damn nice man.. but I had expected more volume.. but damn nice..

maybe you can help me.. I have a mp3 player an old one on AAA batteries.. and Philips SBP 1100 portable speakers.. but the the volume is very low.. how can I make them go louder?

  • hook them up to a power source..duh?

  • What is the song name at the start? (not the akon song)

  • check out the ECOBOOM, YOU WILL LIKE IT AND ITS SOLAR.

  • how many W do the speakers have ?

  • 2 x 55wrms, the amplifier is around 2 x 10wrms

  • did you consider making a more powerful amplifier?

  • Yes with TDA7294 or LM3886 on 2 x 24V (4 x batteries 12V)

  • how long will the battery last you on a single charge at a moderate volume?

  • 20 hours or more

  • amazing!!!!!!

  • i got 2 woofers and 1 sub, my father

    make a cardboard box

  • nice pcb

  • that was tight as all hell, but what do you really expect from 20w?

  • song?

  • Jean-Michel Jarre "Oxygene"

  • dude that is really badass where did you find the thing to make your oun amp

  • thanks man

  • Hello brad, si si c'est cool

  • Nice one! I have a homemade boombox that runs on a 12v motorbike battery! Where did you get the switch with the blue LED??

  • On E.B.A.Y, search with "12v blue led switch"

  • Thanks, i just bought one, the old switch that i was using only had + and - ....where should i put the "ground" because its not working with just the + & - wired up :(

  • On my switch, + (+ batterie), A (+ Amplifier), Ground (- batterie), on your switch the - is the A.

    Sorry for my bad english

  • Thank you! I connected the + & A together instead of + & ground!! XD All the best!
