  • AAAARG the Ken Burns effect is a pan and zoom. Damn! Why could it be something cooler like a wierd disease or something. I need to find something cool with my name. DAMN.

  • I was trying to demo to someone an effect I was looking for in Picasa. Yes, it bothers me that iPhoto has this built-in, yet for those of us stuck using PCs all our great 3D hardware goes unused for something so simple to do. Even programs that offer it do a half-assed job (crappy, slow, pixellated software rendering) but this guy who wrote 'Nostalgic' whipped this up in his spare time.

  • Why is this here? There is nothing touted about the Ken Burns effect; it's been a button on iPhoto for years.
