Thanks for posting this. It was really nice being able to hear them actually answer questions and not have to listen to all that screaming... But I know if I was there I would definitely be doing the same thing... I too can not bring myself to read the Midnight Sun Chapters on Stephenie's website, although I am dying of curiosity, I just can't do it... Thanks! again :0)

When Rob talks about Midnight Sun it almost eats me up because Steph is not writing it anymore because it was leaked. What the tourturing part is that I've decided not to read the leaked version even though Steph put it on her sight, but with rob talking about it drives my curiousity into full throttle and mkes it difficult to not race over to her sight and read it. sigh... I was really looking forward to that book.

Here is two lines of what she said, which makes me believe she will finish the novel for us. Not now, but eventually.

"My first feeling was that there was no way to continue." and " I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely."

Indefinitely: not clearly defined or determined; not precise or exact

Which, to me, means that she is not saying no to writing it..but she is saying no to writing it right now.

You should read it. It's really good, better than Twilight. You come to see the the entire story so much more clearly because so much of Edward is a mystery in Twilight and they never really explain it all. Because Edward can see things from so many different points of view, it really rounds the story out and makes it that much more real.

Ahh I totally agree. I don't want to read it either because I still have hope that it will come out, and I don't want to ruin it. I was more excited for Midnight Sun than Breaking Dawn... it sucks so much that this happened. :(

This was posted on S.Meyer's website.: "I talked to Stephenie this weekend and she asked me to let everyone know that Midnight Sun is her next project. She has not yet finished writing it (and there is no timeline set up, so we all need to put a lot of effort into being patient for a while longer), but she is definitely still planning on having it published. And, after Breaking Dawn comes out, Stephenie will have much more time to focus on writing Midnight Sun." so...yay!!!!

When was that put out? because if you go to the midnight sun section on her websight, last time I checked, the top thing written said that it is put on hold. Since nothing else has been added to cotrodict on top of when she put that last, midnight sun is still on hold.

on hold indefinitely means temporarily.I saw the post about her working on Midnight Sun in the same section you're talking about, though I realise now that it was a previous post.However, she didn't say she wasn't going to finish the book. She's just pissed off about a rough draft leaking out and wasn't feeling motivated to continue at that time. However, it is an unfinished project with no timeline, and like the previous post said, we're just gonna have to be patient if we want it to be perfect

Oh I know that it is temorarily. Hopefuly the mood will strike her to write it again. Although she may write something away from the world of Twilight before she even thinks about picking midnight sun up again. Fingers crossed that she'll continue writing it soon.

I feel ya! I was really disappointed when I found out he had been here in Oregon filming a movie(twilight of course) and I had been completely oblivious(this was before I knew anything about Twilight itself),not to mention that he was in Portland area and that is only an hour away from my hometown! I have been a fan of his since he was in Harry potter so it made me real sad!

Thank you so much for posting this. I was actually able to hear the quesitons being answered! I watched the Comic Con videos and I can hardly hear what the cast is saying because people were screaming so loud and Robert was never able to actually answer.
