  • 6:02 OMG !!!

  • I know Ernest Givins personally. He is an administrator at my old middle school, Baypoint in St. Pete Florida. Funny guy, pretty mean too lmao.

  • LOL I think that's Deion delivering that hit 0:09

  • I actually own this on VHS lol

  • Me too. I think this clip comes from "NFL Rocks". I got this at a local garage sale once a long time ago.

  • what i notice about the hits is that nobody ois using their helmet. their all using their pads cause these guys knew how to hit. thats why i think it was alot rougher back in the day then now

  • in today's NFL 90% of those hits would have drawn a flag

  • @escobarstatus06 Amen.

  • 5:37 NICE!!!

  • i think the irony of this video is that each of these teams they played for are now not looking so hot the bills being the worst off. but back then they were the best.

  • Reed needs to come out, "It was crushing, he crushed me haha"(2:53). Or, "sometimes i see a big white spot!' (4:09). And lets not get on Irvin's crack head comments through the vid lol!

  • if randy moss had the balls to go over the middle on the reg like a michael irvin or jerry rice did he would probably be the best of all of em

  • Michael Irvin 12 Years 1988 - 1999 Rec: 750 Yds: 11,904 Avg: 15.9 TD: 65 2007 Andre Reed 16 Years 1985 - 2000 Rec: 951 Yds: 13,198 Avg: 13.9 TD: 87 -- The only reason Reed had "better numbers" is because Michael had to retire due to injury.

  • @tallsmile28 andre reed really only played 15 years because he only played one game for the redskins and had 3 seasons cut short due to injury as well

  • Reed missed time during those 16 years due to injury as well. Otherwise he woulda had even better numbers. He had one season where he played only 3 games cause he tore his hamstring. They were both great.

  • lol...hit someone like that now.....and you get 15 yrs flag

  • @holywar911 ... For good reason. Irvin's career ended because of these hits.

  • I like how Irvin talks about nothing else giving you a high like a catch across the middle... except Coke... man that's a great high.

  • I wish he would have landed perfectly on his feet in 6:04

  • 3:02 lol i thought he broke every bone in his body

  • ahh the good ol day's when db's had the right to make recievers pay when they crossed the middle, nowadays its ok for a qb to hang a reciever out to dry cuz a db cant go all out, intimidation is dead in football, lame ass national fairy league

  • Great receivers, all of them. This shows how dominant and physical Irvin was. Seems like he just shrugs off a lot of those hits.

  • haha look at my coach givins gettin jacked up

  • lol

  • I never seen anyone land that flip yet after they get hit.Reid and Irvin are beast.I dont know why Reid isent in the HOF yet.

  • i play for givens now. and he always sayin real wrs go cross the middle. he right, damn they be gettin blasted

  • who are you,i play for him now!!

  • 3:08 i was at that game...the entire stadium though givens was dead

  • football now compared to the 70s and 80s is a kindergarten game

  • ok at 6:03 is freaking insane because he does a freaking flip, lands it, and also lands right in the freaking endzone!!!!!!!!!

  • haha too bad its illegal for head to head contact now with wr

  • my popwarner team is playing andre reeds team this saturday should be fun

  • Andre Reed was my favorite catch the ball over the traffic receiver of all time. He had incredible hands. I remember playing John Madden 92 on Sega Genesis and feeding him all the time from Jim Kelly. He'd score like 6 touchdowns in a game sometimes. Not including scores from Thomas, Lofton, Beebe, and Mc Keller. Go Bills! 4 Time AFC Champions in a row!

  • I'm right with you on this 1

  • But Irvin was just a little better than Reed. Didnt they face off in 2 super bowls? :) (Advantage Irvin)

  • that was crazy 6:01 he almost landed it

  • just think, half of these clips would draw flags in today game.

  • In case you're wondering, the clip of the receiver catching the ball at 4:28 is from a World League game.

  • Beebe had like the wickest flip Ive seen a human being do.

  • these are 3 of the best receivers of all time. u add jerry rice and this is the most talented group ever. im glad to see earnest givins in this he was hella of a player.

  • LOL @ :42.

    "Look at 'im. Oh---" *ARRGHHH!*

  • ernest givins and his last td shown here, the one with the mortal jump, is the reason because i started to be a fan of the houston oilers' run&shoot from here in italy.

  • Thanks for the hit at 3:08, I have been looking for that on her for a min...that was against the eagles, and the build up had been how will you guys stop the run and shoot offense of the Houston Oilers...the Eagles DBs said we are going to let them catch the ball...and then make them pay...and thats what they did. at 3:08 check it out.

  • U c Mike telln Harp how 2 run routes. That is the dif between he & t.o. sefless vs SELFISH

  • Reed straight out Kutztown nucca

  • Irvin didn't have amazing stats, but he was as clutch as they come, something the '08 cowboys are missing.

  • witten is clutch

  • reed and irvin were alot a like. but irvin did more drugs

  • @sodalake1824 lol

  • @sodalake1824 Andre did no drugs

  • Irvin's talking about football, but the whole time he's thinking "I can't wait to get out of here and smoke crack".

  • "and bang KB24H8R's mom. Man, she bangin'... Too bad her kid's got all them mental problems..."

And after practice, he would do just that, over and over again.

  • man, hitting receivers is the best

  • lol, Don Beebe, probably the fastest player ever.

  • GREAT VIDEO. I miss them good ol days!

  • Reed and Irvin were like the same receiver, only Mike was bigger.

  • And Reed had better numbers.

  • And Irvin had more rings, so what?

  • dont forget irvin also skinned them buffalo bills, Irvin wrecked...where was Reed??? 0-4 bills, pathetic

  • he broke some records in the superbowls he wasnt a scrub theres no reason for him not to be in the hall if irvin is

  • @Lokiar he should he played 5 more years and on a team that thru alot more

  • Reed and Irvin were like the same receiver, only Mike was bigger.

  • bills fan till i die

  • Ahh #81 thanks for the memories. Ernest Givens is one of the most underrated wideouts ever.

  • Ernest Givings, seemed to be one of if not the skinniest players in the league. But he had to be the most courageous. How many times did you see him get laid out while going over the middle by people much bigger than him....Singletary, Millen etc.Yet he always got up...or at least tried to.The hit, he took from Bud Brown of the Dolpohins( on the back of his head while already down) had to have been one the dirtiest plays ever. I salute Ernest Givings.

  • what do you bills fans think of trent edwards? the only game i saw him play was his comeback against my skins =(

  • daa bills and dem cowboys sittin @ home watchinnn the G-MENNNN

  • the G-women still counting them BOYS Lombardi Trophy

  • DA BILLS!!

  • wow i cant believe they didnt have don beebe's hits

  • how is andre reed not in the hall of fame?

  • he just got nominated fo rthe hall of fame today hes on the list and in the race .. LETS GO BUFFALO!

  • my friends ex-boi is Andre Reeds son!

  • yeah go bills! lose to the cowboys! mmmhmmm Irvin!

  • Damn, I swear everytime there is a video showing something about the Bills here comes a Cowboys fan talkin crap like they were actually on those cowboys superbowl teams in the early 90's. Get a life.

  • Bills!!!!!!!!!

  • BILLSSS!!!!

  • All Bills, all the time!!!

  • Oh NFL Extreme!!! Memories of an old VHS!
