With this Anime I could see how much life is important. We always want more and more stupid things (like a new phone), while there are people that they only want to walk, live in a peacefull family...they just want to live a new day...
I originally started watching this as a personal challange to watch all anime currently available to me on Netflix, it was the first option and I fell in love with this series, so much so that I actually watched it twice in a row, and even got very emotional by the end. many life lessons can be learned from this anime. Believe it or not, the things I learned from this series are helping me to rebuild a list relationship with my dad. thanks a lot :')
Some parts of this soundtrack has the same tracks in the Otonashi soundtrack. Maybe the other one is a little upbeat, while this one has a depressing tone.

You can also see that you're lucky to just have broke-up with your boyfriend/girlfirend, lucky to just have a 0, and to not loose people close to you, friends or family. The reason this show is so amazing is because quite literally anyone can relate to it in an almost infinite amount of ways. Angel Beats isn't just a story about a group of wronged teenagers living the lives they were denied, it's a story about the truths of Life. One thing I've learned is that everyone has a story to tell and Angel Beats portrays that beautifully.
@Kif2971 I think almost every anime are made to get people to know more about life and truth of it. I think everyone who watched Angel Beats!, CLANNAD, and even Naruto (if you watch REALLY far, including Shippuden) would agree with that. Now, that's my own way of thinking, I can understand that other people don't, but in fact, you have reason (you are reason? I'm french, you know), anime are made with philosophy.
@SuhiroWatanoru Anime is a medium. As such, not every anime is going to be as amazing as Angel Beats or CLANNAD. If anything, sturgeon's law applies very well here: 90% of anime is crap, but then 90% of ANY media is crap.
Of course, that last 10%, the Angel Beats's, the CLANNAD's, the Cowboy Bebop's... that 10% is worth dying for.

I have this strange idea of Ushio being one of the Afterlife school students, like if Nagisa was still dead and her father kept ignoring her, and then once she became a teenager, they had that father daughter bond same with the anime and got back together, but Ushio then died because of her illness. She never got to say thank you to Tomoya that's why she was in the Afterlife instead of passing in peace. Strange how Clannad and Angel Beats are a bit similar :)

Ok, my rant is done. All in all, angel Beats was amazing. Touching, inspiring, comedic, and inspirational. So two thumbs up for what I consider a true masterpiece.
People question why Yuri had such a life. I understand, I myself would be enraged.
Everything seems unjust at first. But we don't know what effect this pain may have on the future. It may result in a greater good. As I've said already, without pain, we would not enjoy happiness.
For example, Otonashi. His death seemed incredibly unjust and a waste of a bright mind. But then he wouldn't have saved the SSS. Kanade would have always been stuck. He would not have been able to stay behind.
It's fine. I just wanted to get the point across that Angel Beats left God out of the end for a reason. It's not some pandering show that only otakus like. It's much deeper than that.
The guy who disliked this song has a black twisted heart with a bunch of cruel feelings coming from it! And that's only a small amount of how I feel....

The thing with religion is that, all it is is faith and nothing else. God well not save your life, God will not bring you prosperity, nor happiness. We are the ones that has to pursuit what we want, not God.
You've gotta love key for Clannad and Angel Beats, well actually for every story they write and its soundtrack...i just can't wait for the release of Rewrite! hopefully there'll be an anime series as well! =)
Angel Beats was so good. It was so touching made my eyes start tearing.
The OSTs are also really good, hits you right at the core. I only listened to this and My precious treasure(starting tearing at the end) so far since I recently found out about the ova and realized the OSTs were really really nice.
This is perhaps the best soundtrack music i have heard in my whole life. it really touches you to the core. the others i like from angel beats are Theme SSS, Otonashi. My Song and Ichiban no Takaramono are the best songs.
This is why I chose to help other people's lifes by doing the little things that to them, may mean alot at the expense of burdening my problems and theirs. Their happyness is what pulls me through.
@Gold139 the track you're talking about is no.2 in the OST CD 1, it's called Theme of SSS. The reason why so many....idiots....call it PV6 is because it was the song played on Preview Video 6(PV6) lol anyways, to the side it should appear as Angel Beats! OST - Theme of SSS, that's the one you're looking for.

However, not every anime is Trigun, or even something fairly dated but still regarded as a classic, like Mobile Suit Gundam or Macross.
But for all of that, there are the M.D. Geists, the Garzey's Wing's, the Eiken's.
Sure, maybe 90% is too much to say, but remember that you can't just ignore the failures as if they never happened. No art form is without failures.

You've gotta love key for Clannad and Angel Beats, well actually for every story they write and its soundtrack...i just can't wait for the release of Rewrite! hopefully there'll be an anime series as well! =)

Angel Beats was so good. It was so touching made my eyes start tearing.
The OSTs are also really good, hits you right at the core. I only listened to this and My precious treasure(starting tearing at the end) so far since I recently found out about the ova and realized the OSTs were really really nice.

This is perhaps the best soundtrack music i have heard in my whole life. it really touches you to the core. the others i like from angel beats are Theme SSS, Otonashi. My Song and Ichiban no Takaramono are the best songs.

@Gold139 the track you're talking about is no.2 in the OST CD 1, it's called Theme of SSS. The reason why so many....idiots....call it PV6 is because it was the song played on Preview Video 6(PV6) lol anyways, to the side it should appear as Angel Beats! OST - Theme of SSS, that's the one you're looking for.

@Shinigami186 It's not idiot, the song released in PV6 and lot of ppl started call the song as PV6 just because the song did not have a name. After they released the name ppl continued to refer to it as PV6, because everyone already knew about this "internet name".
After this MAD did a remix using the song and they named this as PV6...so, you think they're idiots too?

@kaissertheswift to me personally,getting God's pleasure is much better than fight Him :-) if u think God has done bad thing to u,then think about what He has give to u. He gives u soul, He gives you mind,He gives you friends and MANY THINGS but you arent grateful at all. all He wants is you,to pray and ask for a help from Him. not to mad at Him. if the God in the Angel Beats is unfair,then I said Yuri is stupid. she should be grateful that she has a chance to see her siblings again. *peace

Life is not fair. Don't go QQ on me. You want everyone to be perfectly fine? Then why would we grow? If we don't know pain, would be be thankful for happiness?
If I were in her position? I'd question. I'd resolve.
Without that past, would she have met the SSS? Would she have met Otonashi, who led the entire group from bondage? Nothing is without reason. It is arrogant to say otherwise. Who are we to question God?

@aiyukihara well she did NOT really see her siblings again, did she? seeing them is just her imagination, anyone alive can see our dead family members and friends in our imagination, so god didn't really gave her the chance to see her siblings again.
