I tried to DVR a EAS broadcast around the Cincinnati area to no avail. They disabled it. But man are these things erie.

@gevoman1 In all honesty, according to idiot Comcast, (may not be what the OP has) it is supposed to shut off the DVR when these things happen and there will be a jump in the recording, from what I've seen from Youtube, it doesn't. Just recently acquiring a DVR myself, I look forward to trying it out....

OMG SAME HERE! like the first couple weeks of june wisconsin had like 3 tornado warnings 4 where i live and we like NEVER get them, seriously, and one time it got reli dark and the street lights went on and the sirens were going off and i was soooo scared! and during my graduation there was like a mini tornado tht knocked down and uprooted trees and sidewalks! and i was soo scared and apparently the sirens went off and it sounded like one and i didnt know until i went home but i was so scared!!!

I had a warning come through on my Weather Radio. I had a gun next to me (robberies were in my town) and when I heard the tone alert I was so scared I Grabbed the gun and was screaming and I shot my radio. i had no clue what came through til I got a phone Call from my friend saying "We have a tornado Warning" I did see a funnel cloud but it never touched the ground. it went right back up. I fell asleep in my basement with major back pain in the morning.
