  • The thing is, they would need another kind of obstacle if they decide to scrap the spoilers.

Just watching two (or three) people go head to head would be fair, but very boring. And unoriginal.

  • Andy kept calling out the same clues he didn't know, over and over again. Try the other ones!

  • Not answering the Idi Amin question was a strategy so that no one would have to take the Podium of Death.

  • ... and he knew all three spoilers would be back in anyways.

On another note for that same clue, do you think Ilene was trying to become a spoiler on purpose so she could have a shot at stealing the Good Podium and winning?

  • The Podium of Death! AHHHHHH

  • that is a horrible game. The rules are awful. Andy did none of the work and became champ. Surprised NO ONE knew Idi Amin was from Uganda.

  • It seems fair to me. They call them SPOILERS for a reason. The players in the front row have to protect their podiums. Spoilers never get a chance to answer unless the players in the front row get it wrong or don't answer. Andy took advantage of his chance and got it.

  • true but Andy's not necessarily the best player, the spoiler rule kinda punishes the better players. Since the're more prone to be spoiled. although I will admit it's definitely original and keeps the game exciting.

  • Addicted as I am to this show, I looked forward to seeing one of the world's finest solvers, Amy Reynaldo, compete. The way the show is set up the better player does not always win.
