  • My name is Billy Buck and i like to fuck.

  • First thing you need to do is hit your nearest torrent site he he...

  • or you could just go out and get some real drums and get real skills

  • @yagami3242341 Best of luck with that.

  • @yagami3242341 Now go tell the drummers from Meshuggah and Periphery who use Superior drummer that they have no real skills and see how that goes.

  • hii buddy i got a big question i´m using ezdrummer with reaper too, but how i can export those ezdrummer track´s to wave or mp3 format ???

how i can change the tempo to those preset grooves on ezdrummer ???

bye buddy i´m waiting for your answer as soon possible.

  • @yico69 Im new to EZdrummer

    But

When you are ready to export go to File Render and then you can work it out from there

To change the tempo you should be able to just go to the bar just below where all your tacks are and on the left somewhere should be a box saying BPM if you change that to the tempo you want it should work

Sorry if this didnt help atall

  • @yico69 Yeah bro im wondering also on how to do this please answer ASAP BILLY!

  • you sound like Frank Walker on downers. nice tut tho!

  • My EZDrummer worked in reaper for a few weeks and just stopped one day. I keep getting that ''path to the sounds is not set'' error. I've been searching for a solution for weeks and have had no luck, could you help me please?

  • I can't figure out for MY LIFE, how to open the MIDI Editor you show on your video! HELP ME PLEASE! I'm not using EZdrummer, but a different VST drum machine

  • hit record to record a blank ie empty midi part then double-click on it to open it up in the MIDI editor

  • Or what I do is click on "Insert" at the top of reaper and then choose "New Midi Item"

It will create an empty one bar midi item. Then you just double click on it to open the midi editor.

  • how do u get this probram

  • Google "Toontrack" to get ezdrummer

Google "Reaper DAW" to get Reaper

    Ever heard of google?

  • is it a freeware?

  • Reaper is free to try. After 30 days or so a reminder will pop up asking you to purchase a license (only $60, cheap) but you can just wait a few seconds and click the continue button. eZdrummer is $100 USD and each add on kit is around $89 USD. I recently got Superior Drummer 2.0 which goes for $350 USD and I will be getting the METAL FOUNDRY addon pack for $180 soon. The Metal Foundry addon is going to sound so sweet and blow eZdrummer Drum Kit From Hell away.

  • I have downloaded everything you have mentioned for free and it works great!

  • thz alot..I can already work with ezdrummer

  • Where did that video go.... I need it bad. It helped me a lot to set-up ez drummer in reaper, now I wanted to watch how to edit the tracks (second part of the vid)...

  • i didn´t get get ez drummer to the fx browser under VSTi :( ..can some1 help?

  • search "toontrack" in vsti

  • can´t find it either :SS

  • Make sure in Options>Preferences>Plugins>VST you click 'Auto Detect' Hope I wasn't too late

  • well ,actually i had the 1 month try out of reaper ..but ill get the full version soon thanx :)

  • This was really useful! I've been having a hard time getting started with MIDI in Reaper, 'cause I'm so used to the workflow in Cubase. Thanks for this.

  • great tutorial billybk1... i was wondering if you would know why ez drummer would take 5 minutes to load in my reaper setup...i have ezdrummer 1.1 and just the basic program (no additional kits) with an intel e6600 on an asus commando mobo... thanks again for the excellent video...

  • Thanks very much, brilliant tutorial!

  • Sorry to seem stupid hear. I get that you use the made maps to play the drums, but if I wanted could I play them live and record in Reaper?

    Thanks

  • I think the maps are just so that you see the right name for each note (e.g. note #40 = E2 would read "Snare"). They don't influence what notes are being played or recorded, it just helps you with identifying which note corresponds to which drum instrument.

BTW, this is a great tutorial. I'm planning to install EZdrummer in Reaper this weekend, and this will certainly help. Thanks, Mr. Buck! :-)

  • Ah, ok. Since writing that I've found the answer, thanks though! :)

  • :-)

  • How do you rewire Reason into Reaper?

  • Someone help, I have the latest Ezdrummer but it is not showing up on my FX browser. Can someone tell me why that is?

  • did you make sure its saved in the VST plug in folder?

  • Thanks. Now I got it...stupid mistake.

  • Thanks from Sam B. on the Reaper forum!

  • can i play ezdrumer with keyboard??

  • yes cause it is MIDI Vst based.

  • just a question is possible to use ez drummer with your pc keyboard

  • @wesler10 search "freeware virtual midi keyboard" on google :)

  • Wow! Thanks! That was good. One quick question, how do you refresh (to get the note names on the piano keys)once you load the text file in the midi note namer?

I'm really new to this REAPER and would really appreciate your help. Thanks.

  • You can press( Ctrl/Alt + E ) to refresh the MIDI Editor and bring up a loaded drum map. If you are not seeing the note names, press ( Alt + 2 ) while the MIDI Editor has focus to switch to the "Mode:named notes".

Also, while in the MIDI Editor View, if you are using one the the recent REAPER versions (v2.026 or higher) pressing ( Alt + 7 ) will activate "drum mode" (diamond shapes for drum notes) and ( Alt + 0 ) will turn note names on events on/off.

  • It works! thanks a million!

  • Useful. Thanks!

  • Just want to clarify, that in the video I am using the latest EZdrummer release (v1.1.1). Also any recent REAPER version will work as demonstrated, in the video.

The drum maps are simple text files. So you

can also create your own custom drum maps (for use in the MIDI Note Namer plugin) with a text file editor like notepad.

    Cheers,

    Billy Buck
