That is because you have to LEAD your bullet in Halo PC, and different servers have different leads (as the ping is different).

Aim ahead of the person. The bullet does NOT travel to the other side of the map instantly. After practice you will learn how far you need to aim ahead of them.

There are multiple ways to get inside them. One way is to get a tank on the rock and crouch by the base of the rock and bash the tank. Then when it falls (if done correctly) it will push you though. Then you wait for the tank to respawn ;)
