But you aren't a dwarf. Dwarfs limbs are in proportion to their torso whereas midgets have short limbs and a normal sized torso.

I think you've got that exactly the wrong way around. Dwarfism is not a single condition, anybody under 4' 10" is a dwarf and they may have any one of a dozen or so conditions (including just normal variation in height) while midget refers to exceptionally short people of otherwise fairly normal proportions whereas dwarfs may or may not have limbs in proportion to their bodies and heads. The commonest reason for being a dwarf (70%) is achondroplasia, in which the limbs are short.
