I was at this game. The seminoles were fast and ran the short pass play in the flats over and over all day. The seminoles were one heck of a team that year. Washington later demolished this team in the Rose Bowl.

I not only remember watching this game, I still have it on VHS. This was one of the best Michigan teams in the last 40 years, absolutely loaded on offense and rock solid on defense... and they still lost to FSU by 20. So fun to watch, even in a loss.

I remember this game like it was yesterday. I grew up and Detroit, but like kids  I like FSU because of their exposure and the uniforms, and Deion Sanders. This Michigan team was great, but this FSU team was awesome....

It was Dan Mowery at the time, then I think they replaced him a guy named Thomas who missed the fg against Miami later on in the season. I remember watching this game and being absolutely stunned that Florida State just whooped on a pretty good Michigan team in 1991.

I'd love to see Michigan play FSU again as well, but to be fair, Michigan's game against Appallachian State on September 1st will be the first time UM has ever played a AA opponent in the entire history of what is currently known as the Division 1-AA subdivision of college football.

Michigan ended up making a big mistake in scheduling Appalachian St. because they lost 34-32 in one of college football's biggest upsets.

Florida St. had a scare last year vs. Troy, but at least they managed to rally and win.

Michigan had a chance to win the Appalachian St. game on a last second field goal, but it was blocked.
