  • Precision engineered replacement platters for the Denon DNS-3500 and DN-HS5500, the ultimate mod from extrainches.co.uk.

  • this 'guy' heh, I'm just waiting for you to give 'him' a nickname :D

  • THE Music Machine - Superb

Alwauys Great videos on Ellaskins ;) with big G

  • nice demo, you just helped me decide to get this instead of the Pioneer.

  • my boddy got one of these i want the hd 2500 or pioneer maybe ...but i think i just get a better used one form some dj wjo`s getting the better one or some option like that ....

  • SICK!!! im getting one of these

  • Yo FAM. Buy one at Knight Sound and Light in Hanwell innit. They can deliver it too. ITS ONLY £750 BLAD

  • im reeeeeli stuck between the 3700s and the 5500s...im new into DJin. i know the 5500s would be easy to carry around because its 2 decks in one but ive heard so many awesome reviews on the 3700s.

    advice/suggestions ne1?

  • Thats great! Can you use a software mixer??

  • Yep its fully midi compatible with Seratp, Traktor, VDJ, anything!

  • Few days ago Denon DJ published new firmware - number 1300 for Denon DN-HS5500! I already have this update installed on my DN-HS5500 and I'm glad, because it fixes whole bunch of glitchs!

  • what remix is that of the sugababes?

  • Wow I would definitely get one, but 999 dollars? I don't wanna buy online and have to wait for shipping. Guess I'll just settle for the Denon DN-S3500 :(

  • Hi Jonathan!

    Sorry for my poor English:

Do you have problems with CUE as STUTTER sometimes? I mean: Do you experienced that music not always will start/play when you hit & hold CUE as STUTTER? I experienced such problems... It seems it's happening when platter moves tiny bit caused by shocks when I'm hitting CUE button... and then player interprets hitting CUE as I want to go back to the CUE point or I want to set new CUE point. So I'm using HOT START as STUTTER.

    What do you think?

  • Nice vid.I still don`t get it how the pitch control works though.because if you want to play two separate tracks, you can have 2 pitch controls in 2 different positions.

  • Example:

    - On 1 layer (1 deck in DN-HS5500) you set pitch on +5%.

    - You go to 2 layer (2 deck in DN-HS5500) and you set pitch on -3%.

    - If you go back to 1 deck, then pitch LED is blinking, which shows you, that pitch slider is unactive until you will "orginal" (previous) setting. When you will move pitch slider to +5% position, then pitch LED starts to shine constantly and, from this point, pitch slider becomes active, which allows you to change speed of the track.

  • nice,I thought something like that..thank you;)

  • I have two of these and they are fantastic, however I am really not doing very well with the looping features. If you could, a tutorial for looping on the 5500's would be sweet.

  • Take my advices for looping on DN-HS5500:

    1. To set beginning of loop try to fast tap to the rythm, near A1 button, before you will hit A1 button. To set end of the loop also fast tap to the rythm, near B button, before you will hit B button. Fast tapping to the rythm before hitting button will help you hit the button at the right time!

    2. You can mess with ECHO/LOOP effect - when you will set this effect to max, then you get loop based on BPM count, by right dial you can set phrase lenght.

  • This is faaaar from a new feature!

Denon had this on the DNS 5000 and DND 9000 but it was called Alphatrack, but it only spunn cd's

Two trax on the same disc, now that's Worldclass gear, just a fact.

if Denon put up more commersial value and pulled some really hyped / popular dj's thay would rule most of the clubs.

Denon produce far from bad gear, don't matter what all Denon whiners say, sure CDJ 1000 are a great piece of kit, but they are allmost the same.

    I know!

    /S

  • This feature is great. Too bad Pioneer has yet to match Denon with this feature. I'm sure they will for a future CDJ though.

I think the main purpose is to mix in two tracks from the same cd. Sometimes you want to mix two tracks from the same cd one after the other but you can't because their both on that one cd. This feature allows you too eliminate that problem and creates more possibilities for track placement.

  • exacltly but i wonder how much this would cost=)??

  • For this particular Denon model? Or for Pioneer model that hasn't been released yet?

If it's Denon one your talking about just search it on google. I'm sure you'll find it.

Pioneer has yet to catch up with this feature but it'll be interesting when they do.

  • A bit off topic, but are Skull Candy headphones a good headphone? I want to get them because they look wicked and are relatively cheap.

  • if u can do this with this guy...wonder what the cdj 1000 mk4 has got in store for us, seen asthough pioneer owns denon

  • i beg to differ man. since denon did beat pioneer to this and the fact that denon is getting really big and is used in multiple clubs in chicago that i attend to

  • Hahaha no....But Denon does own A an H now.

  • Nice bit of kit j m8 whats the retail price on it

  • about £780 uk follow the link in description! j

  • hey nice video but how much does that thing £cost that looks great but how much does it cost thanks DJ MattyMan

  • played with this one at some store, its pretty cool.
