  • arw' cute hamster! :p i like all the toys 2 , great vid!

  • Hey wat size tank is that

  • Cute, I have 3 hamsters, I had a 4th one, But it died on the 4th of jan, It was 18 months old, Very cute, White with red eyes.

  • could you tell me what that water bottle is called? or where its from?

  • @hazelthehamster It's just a standard small animal water bottle that came with a hanger made for tanks. It has a metal tab that bends over the edge to hang it. I got it as Pet Supplies Plus, but they should have them at any good pet supply store. Just go and look.

  • It's very alone, buy another hamster.

  • @degollador3000 Syrian hamsters, unless they come from the same litter, will constantly fight. They are solitary creatures in the wild, only seeking out other hamsters for mating purposes.

  • Hi, lm loving the setup. Just wondering, where you can get those holder for the water bottles with the metal ring? Thanks!

  • The breed is a short haired teddy bear Syrian I think, hope this helps

  • @hamsterkingpo Yes, she was a Syrian hamster. Also sometimes called a Golden hamster.

  • @JohnnyParanoid wher did you buy that tank, what type is it, and how much was it?

  • Hey, i know this is an old video, but could you tell me what kind of hamster this is (breed)? Oh and how much did the cage cost? I am thinking about getting a hamster soon...

  • @rokkmyworld Message sent as comments don't allow for the full response I wanted to give you.

  • is this a 3ft long tank?

  • @markjohn2689 Yes, it is approx. 3' long and 1.5' wide and tall.

  • Lol in the beginning he was like get lost i see you

  • Where did you get the yellow thing at 0:08 ? I wanna know, please reply, thanks! :D

  • @iLuvManghos I got it at Pet Supplies Plus, but I took it away a while after shooting this because she kept chewing on it and it's metal (with yellow paint). When hamsters chew on metal it can cause brain damage from the vibrations it causes in their heads. This is why metal cages are a bad idea. Fish tanks or plastic cages are much safer for them.

  • @JohnnyParanoid I dont know where Pet Supplies Plus is. I live in Puerto Rico, I dont think they have that here.. But thanx xD

  • Pickles!

  • great cage!:

  • Is that a water bottle hanger or something?? Cuz Im getting a hammy and I really want a tank but cant find a waterbottle that doesnt attach to a wire cage. Any suggestions to keep a water bottle in a tank without getting one for that use? Cuz i cant find one anywheree!!!

  • @PhantasyStardumb Ask the pet store, or look yourself, to see if they have a hanger thing for a water bottle.

Or you can buy a square one (or one with a flat edge) and hot glue it on. I got one that is flat backed, and I glued the back peice to it. The water bottle attached on, so I could take it off really easly.

Message me if you dont know what I'm talking about, or still need help, because I dont have enough room to go into detail lol

  • @PhantasyStardumb They usually have regular water bottles at US stores like Petco and Petsmart. Then they sell metal water bottle holders separately, that you bend to fit on the tank

  • hey how big is the tank as in Length, Breadth, Height

  • @IcedSofa It's about 5' long, 3' high & 3' deep.

  • thats a big cage for one hamster lol =3

  • @sworter123 I think it's about 30-40 gallons by the looks of it. I keep mine in a 20 gallon long, similar to a 30 gallon in length, and though it provides ample amount of room for her, it's still not what is considered "big". I would say it's what should be standard. Crittertrails, and wire cages just aren't big enough for a hamster. ( Maybe, just maybe a single dwarf) The only cage I like besides tanks would be the WARE Natural :)

  • hellow

  • hellow

  • lol i love how they are so active, i have a leopard gecko in a 10 gallon, but i am getting a 20 long soon, so i am getting a hamster for my 10 gallon... and dont worry i am getting a russian dwarfhamster so that will be plenty of room

  • @joyannaroof No, she actually just passed a couple weeks ago.

  • OMG this cage is amazing!!!

  • OMG! LOVE IT! I only have a hamster tank that's 1/3 of yours.

  • I'm glad to see that cage! So big and open!

  • @PhantomOfPanton yeah! she likes it a lot fo sho!

  • nice tank, x

  • wow nice setup it looks really fun, where is all the stuff from? is ur hamster in a fish tank

  • It's all stuff from different pet shops around town here. Yes, it's a 35 gallon fish tank, so plenty of room for running and digging! Fish tanks are better for hamsters and other small rodents because :

    1. They like to chew on the metal bars of other cages, which is not good for them

    2. They can't get little paws stuck through the slots when running. Some hamsters break legs this way :(

As long as you have a well ventilated room and a mesh screen top for the tank, everything is fine :)

  • I like the setup! Where'd you get all the stuff? (:
