And I saw someone through the window. She was watching T.V. She saw us comming; She got up really quickly and started to hoover. I laughed my head off! I still find it funny now. I have close family members who are JW's, and they would find this clip hysterical. They are some of the kindest people I have ever met. I remember my uncle (who is a JW) sending me a funny email about how someone dressed up as a 'stormtrooper Jehovahs witness' for a costume party.He got a huge kick out of it.

That "awake her spirit through the embrace of god" phrase is bizarre. JWs will usually say something more like, "Is the violence in the world troubling you? (later) Do you think that indicates the end of these system of things?" or "Do you dream of a world where you can see your dead loved ones again?"

One reason why they seem to agressively try to convert everyone is that they strongly believe that if they don't give every single person an opportunity, they have in some way deprived them.

I got molested by Jehova's witnesses today. They rang the bell and my 12 year old sister opened the door and they were asking her whether she wanted to "awake her spirit through the embrace of God" or something alike. It were two women but I was so angry that they actually harrassed a child with this stupid stuff but when I politely told them that we don't need there advice I wasn't bold enough to throw them out and just tell them to "go away".

She offered a bible, and I politely told her I was fine and that I was reading my newspaper. I was pissed with her making me jump like that! lol

Jehova's Witnesses are not planning to take over the world. They want to spread their peaceful word to everyone as they believe, that the end of days is coming and only the devout and good will make it through Harmagedon. So they'd like to make you believe in god.

Once you tell them, that you're not interested in such things, they'll leave you alone, as they always write down peoples reaction to their visist.

I have friends among them and I can count on them any time.
